Honestly, why would you get a 360/PS3 when you can get a PC? PCs have the best controls, best graphics, best audio, better community, modding, and more multimedia features than a 360/PS3.
That's why I like Nintendo so much: they beat to their own drum. They don't churn out inferior PCs like Microsoft and Sony. They strive to be unique from the competition in order to stand out. You can't get a Nintendo experience from a PC, 360, or PS3. And honestly, that's how I like my Nintendo consoles: unique.
@NateNate You can say that for the DS, or the Xbox 360. Those are both amazing systems despite the shovelware. Just ignore the crap and focus on the good games.
Steam >> PSN > Xbox Live >> Origin >>>> Games for Windows Live > 3DS >>>>>>>> Wii
Point is, EA's experience with online services are so much better than Nintendo's offerings. So even if EA handles the online, at least it'll be better than freaking Games for Windows Live.
@MadAussieBloke Woah, woah, woah, WHAT? Resi 4 was the most graphically impressive game of the 6th Gen? While that will depend on one's definition of graphical quality, The Wind Waker and Metroid Prime 2 would like to have a talk with Resi 4.
Anyway, the first part of a good launch is with all features intact and ready to go. Mario comes after that. I mean, I bought my 3DS on Sept. 10 with Ocarina of Time 3D.
Remember how Steam was once detested and how people didn't want to play Half-Life 2 because of it? Well, Valve stuck with Steam and kept on making improvements to the service, and look at where it is today. Who's not to say that Nintendo will end up the same way? Nintendo can also look at what Steam can do, and then end up MUCH, MUCH better than before on their online strategy.
Also, if we have personal accounts on the 3DS, we should have the ability to link the Friend Code with Club Nintendo (use that as our account, please, like how Microsoft uses MSN with Xbox Live). THAT will be our account. And when we need to redownload our games... well, they need to take cues from Apple and Steam. Then everything will be fine.
Kid Icarus: Uprising, Super Mario 3D Land, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Mario Kart 7, and Bit. Trip Saga... holy $***. The 3DS is going all Reggie at us! Kickin' @** and takin' names!
Super Metroid has a lot of glitches, but they enchance the experience. On the final part of the game where you have to get past the red walls, you can get past them without using any missiles. Also, during the fight with Mother Brain, if you take off the Varia and Gravity Suit with seven energy tanks filled (no more, no less) up at the top of the screen, and you get hit by the rainbow beam, you can stand up and keep on killing Mother Brain, but 15 seconds faster than the normal way. Yeah, it's not that big of a deal, but it is to TASers.
Oh yeah, and the Golden Torizo glitch where you can get a crapton of items by holding these buttons together. It makes you wonder how these people even discover these glitches. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMuXUvnk6Hg
The timeline goes as: Metroid [Zero Mission] Metroid Prime [Pinball] (Pinball was essentially Prime 1 told in Pinball form) Metroid Prime: Hunters Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Metroid Prime 3: Courruption Metroid II: Return of Samus Super Metroid Metroid: Other M Metroid Fusion

Re: Feature: One Year of the 3DS eShop
Loving the eShop games. 'nuff said.
Re: Satoru Iwata Acknowledges Possibility of Free-To-Play Games
Nintendo should not do this. However, I'm all for having Nexon's Vindictus and Crytek's Warface on the system as free to play games.
Re: First Impressions: Bomb Monkey
@TheHermit There is actually no 3D, as you'll be holding the 3DS sideways, book style.

YES!!!

@C-Olimar Um, didn't Nintendo already say it'll be on smartphones as well?

Re: Wii U Designed to Do The Impossible
@Alienfish Final Fantasy victory theme, commence!
Anyway, Nintendo will deliver. I hope, because I was worried about Nintendo's fate, but now they're on the right track. Hit it out of the park, Ninty!

Re: Mega Man Legends 3 Campaign Hits 100,000 Strong
@Wamtu Nintendo treats its games with respect (most of the time). I'm sure Mega Man will find a home with Mario and Samus.
Re: It's a Heroes of Ruin Multiplayer Video
@dark-insanity However, n-Space was known for getting a lot from the DS.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend?
I'm going to play Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy and Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Re: Review: Colors! 3D (eShop)
@Big_Al1 Not EVERYTHING. Some comments are only allowed on a computer. Or at least what I got out of it.
Re: Review: Pandora's Tower (Wii)
Hm. Guess I'll pass on this when this comes to NA.

Re: pitchWinPLAY Competition Announced
@Skotski Was that picture from Batman: The Animated Series from that episode with Joker posing as a clown with Jim Gordon's kid?
Anyway, this sounds cool. I've got a million ideas in my head.
Re: Review: Dragon Crystal (3DS Virtual Console / Game Gear)
Forget pen and paper, use those frackin' Game Notes. They actually play a role for the game.
Re: Review: Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS)
@diagonalcoin10k Because Nintendo loves torturing our souls.
Re: Review: Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS)
Day two purchase! Day one is busy with life, but day two can land me some awesome gaming-times.
Now to finish Castlevania...

Re: Review: 3DS Circle Pad Pro
Aren't you going to smash it into pieces and release footage of it on YouTube?
Re: Mario Kart Wii Races Past 30 Million Sales Milestone
Awesome. Cheers to Nintendo for making great games (although MKWii sucked).
Re: Review: Mutant Mudds (3DSWare)
@34
$8.99 is too much? You're getting a lot of bang for your buck in this case. And besides, I'll be buying this one day to support Renegade Kid.
Re: Nintendo Reveals More Kid Icarus: Uprising Details
Man, Nintendo Life... your captions and sub-titles aren't too exciting today. I know I'm just nitpicking, but still.
Re: Talking Point: Using Glitches - Cheating or Clever Gaming?

Glitches aren't bad unless they are online.

Re: Review: The Kore Gang (Wii)
Atari still fails. Hopefully RollerCoaster Tycoon 3DS will be awesome.
Re: Tetris

True dat. They got Link's Awakening DX on the shop, but they can't get Tetris DX on the damn thing?
