It's common practice for big announcements to be followed up by multiple URL purchases, and Nintendo is making sure that it will have us all covered with information about Wii U's functions and capabilities. Nintendo of America has added five new URLs, which accounts for the major reveals from Sunday's pre-E3 Nintendo Direct broadcast.
The system's promised social interaction is covered by miiverse.com, miiverse.net and the original Japanese name of miiwarawara.com. As for the newly named Wii U controller, Nintendo has picked up wiiugamepad.com and wiiuprocontroller.com. These may be used nearer the time or, potentially, just kept so that cheeky internet entrepreneurs can't buy them and take advantage.
We'd like to think that Nintendo will make use of these URLs to build hype for the console. The looming E3 conference is sure to get the hype machine into gear, of course.

I still don't get everything about MiiVerse, but it looks neat! Can't wait for tonight
Facebook is enough for me. On the other hand I dont play games on it. I hope the Wii U will work with Facebook (Maybe an app on the gamepad?)
SO HYPED......
E3 2 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still prefer Mii wara wara over Miiverse.
2 down, 1 to go. It's there for the taking.
hey babes from nintendolife. you are so busy with the E3 stuff, so you forgot to tell what goes for download this thursday?
I really thought Nintendo was making a huge step forward with the Miiverse, but if they don't give it a smartphone app it would be another stubborn Nintendo mistake.
@dynamikas 3D Solitaire and Tumplepop
@dynamikas No press release from Nintendo UK yet as it's a Bank Holiday in the UK. When the press release arrives we will surely post it
@C-Olimar Um, didn't Nintendo already say it'll be on smartphones as well?
