Re: Iwata: 10 Key 3DS Titles On The Way This Year

EvilLucario

My 2013 3DS game list:
1. Fire Emblem
2. Fire Emblem
3. Fire Emblem
4. Fire Emblem
5. Fire Emblem
6. Pokemon X

Those are the only two games I would ever want this year, simply because they're all I need.

...Oh crap, my backlog. Gonna need to work on that...

Re: Rumour: New Sonic Title Dashing To Wii U And 3DS

EvilLucario

I'm excited. I hope this is the true Sonic Adventure 3. Sonic 06 epically failed on that, so here's to hoping Sega won't screw up again.

By the way, what's Crush 40's songs gonna be like? I'm still waiting for them to top Live Life and Escape from the City. (Live and Learn, while an excellent song, is quite overrated, to be perfectly honest)

Re: Game Over For THQ As Assets Are Purchased By Rival Publishers

EvilLucario

Yeah, Vigil SHOULD be picked up by Zelda. While I have never played a Darksiders game, I think Vigil should help collaborate with EAD 3, mainly to help with production of the Zelda series. From what little gameplay footage I have seen, Vigil is a very talented developer, and Nintendo needs more talent, so... yeah,

Re: Ralph Nader Targets Violent Video Games and Their Developers

EvilLucario

I remember this guy from John Stossel's books on journalism... can't remember what he talked about, but Stossel proved he was wrong about the subject he was discussing... on more than one occasion.

Coupled with the fact that trying to protect children from violence is impossible and the sheer amount of BS of blaming video games, this is a guy I'm not gonna give a flying $!@# about.

Re: Wii U Direct Scheduled For Tomorrow

EvilLucario

Guys, before boarding the hype train, DO NOT expect new stuff like a new Metroid, Zelda, or 3D Mario. I'm expecting more on the levels of system updates and some cool new features, like how an update added 3D recording for the 3DS.

What I'm hoping for in this Nintendo Direct? I want to have folders back, more info about the eShop (mostly info about more developer-driven sales), and more apps available. Also, I would like to see TVii take a bigger priority for Nintendo. Yeah, they're a video game company first and foremost, but TVii is a system with huge potential, and I want to see it on its highest quality.

Re: Talking Point: Wii U's Beginnings and Challenges For 2013

EvilLucario

I'm sure the Wii U will do just fine for Nintendo. No one will expect it to sell as much as the PS1/PS2/Wii, especially in this economy sucking.

Hell, I think Nintendo is really trying to avoid many leaks just so they can deliver hard-hitting announcements like Retro Studios, Monolith Soft, and EAD making triple-A games that will end all games.

In short, the Wii U will still be successful. Stop worrying and start playing some games.

Re: Satoru Iwata: Customers Understanding The Wii U "Will Take a Little Time"

EvilLucario

@Mahe Opinions are opinions, but what do you see in the Wii's launch that I don't? The only games from the launch list worth buying there was Metal Slug Anthology and Twilight Princess. Compare that to the Wii U, where I see Nintendo Land, NSMBU, Sonic & AllStars Racing Transformed, ZombiU, Darksiders II... the list goes on. Or are you also counting Virtual Console games?

@Gamesake Dessert can be anything.

Re: Satoru Iwata: Customers Understanding The Wii U "Will Take a Little Time"

EvilLucario

Bah. In this economy, buying more than four games along with your Wii U is a certain death for your wallet. Plus, you can't expect to play through your games very quickly without missing out on a good experience.

Think about this: if you're at a restaurant and order a dessert at the end, would you rather go through it quickly and rush on to order another one, or take your time and enjoy just that dessert to the fullest?

It's the same logic to games, especially now. People need to start cracking down on their backloggery. After all, they did pay for the games they bought, so they should at least try to finish the game. The games coming out can wait; in the meantime, calm down and play some games.

Re: New Super Mario Bros. U's High-Definition Credentials Tested

EvilLucario

@Mahe During that same time, the only good games to play on a Wii was Twilight Princess and (to a lesser extent) Wii Sports. The number of games I would have recommended at that time would be counted on one hand.

On the Wii U, I can count on at least two hands the number of good games there are.

Re: Capcom Wants Your Help For Future Digital Releases

EvilLucario

Forget you, Capcom. You've basically killed off any relations with your fans and released one of the worst ways to celebrate you're mascot's 25th Anniversary.

You're not worthy of my money after Monster Hunter unless you give me more games I want and/or you pull your head out of the sand.

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th December 2012 (North America)

EvilLucario

What an awesome week. BIT. TRIP SAGA is one of my favorite games on the 3DS, and escapeVektor coming in on eShop...

Oh, and don't forget about Wario Land II finally arriving to Virtual Console. Took them long enough.

Now if only SEGA released Ristar for 3DS Virtual Console... then my life would be complete along with the Mother Trilogy revamped.

We're finally getting some new news for Mother! =)

I can't wait to play the Mother trilogy on my 3DS, especially Mother, as that game should be updated the same way Pokemon Red / Blue was updated to the 3rd Generation.

Re: First Ever 'Reggie Asks' Delves Into TVii

EvilLucario

Wow, judging from reactions here, TVii seems really flawed and broken...

I hope Nintendo get's their act together and release a patch to fix all of these niggles. But from the earlier news about the OS patch not happening, I just don't think it'll happen anytime soon.

Prove me wrong, Nintendo. I'm planning on getting a Wii U for Christmas, so bring on the goods before it's too late.

Re: Review: New Art Academy (3DS)

EvilLucario

Stick to Colors! 3D for hardcore drawing, though this is for beginners to drawing (like me, though I'm not sure as this hasn't hit NA yet).

Get both in the end if you're interested in drawing.
