@Alcea so true. These key cards are actually worse than straight digital. I can’t see the reason for them even if they come some tiny “benefits”. Waste of plastic indeed.
This list a a little suspect. Super Mario RPG on switch is a definitive way to way that game yet the SNES is higher on the list? I’m old school gamer myself but I have admit that the switch version is the way to play this game. Super Star Saga deserves to be much higher in the list as well. It is without a doubt the best of the Mario and Luigi rpg games. Also the remake switch version of TTYD is the best way to play that game. The remakes are exactly the same as the originasl with enhanced graphics and better translations.
@kingbk I’m really hoping that Capcom is just calling it Stadium 2 but that it’ll be dlc for the first one. I really like the virtual arcade room and designing the walls and things like that.
@Specter_of-the_OLED whoa, talk about entitlement. It’s their product and they can do whatever they want. They don’t need to ask for permission. It’ll be your choice to buy or skip.
@victordamazio not exactly true. Sony released a few old games as a way to advertise their games to a PC audience and they have backpedaled on even that.
@Alucard83 have you not played any of the other third party games on the Switch? Have you seen how Doom, Wolfenstien, The Witcher, and plenty more plays? They don’t look as good as the Xbox One X or PlayStation 4 but they play a lot more stable than this. There really was no excuse for this mess of a release.
Was there ever a physical version to this game? I missed it back when it originally came out but I have to say I’m very interested in trying it out. The Alan Wake comparison got me.
Honestly, they look terrible. Wish they would’ve just released the SNES version. Maybe we can get those officially translated via the SNES Switch online service? Funny thing I just replayed all three about a month ago via fan translated ROM hacks.
I’m not surprised at this. I’m more surprised that Sega got caught off guard over Japanese sales like this. The Mega Drive sold great in the North American and European markets, besting Nintendo for a while in the States, but they never sold well in Japan. The 16-bit consoles of choice in the Japanese market was the PC Engine and the Super Famicom.
I really wish that Hamster would release their versions on the Switch. Sometimes I like to play on the go or in bed and these games are only playable on the PlayStation 4, not on the Vita. Hoping to play some Gradius on the Switch. The arcade version I mean.
@Masurao don’t know how true your comment is. A lot of those old developers are training the newer generation employees. Just take a look at any Nintendo series through the decades and how different developers have been credited with the game. Only thing that has changed is that Nintendo allowed an indie developer to make a game using their IP. Others like Namco, Capcom, and Team Ninja has already made games using Nintendo’S IP.
This is great for people that want to play the game in original hardware without having to pirate. This is going to have zero impact on the pricing of the original games. We need to think of it as a second printing of a book. I mean the Virtual Console didn’t have an impact on the GBC Shante or NES Little Sampson
Would love something like this for the N64. Is this solution really better than getting the much cheaper Wii hdmi adapter and playing GC games through that?
Somebody obviously cut history class. What they taught in kindergarten about thanksgiving isn’t true, but your comment is exactly why so many Native Americans have issues with the way they’re portrayed.
@Kalmaro maybe if the portrayal was more correct you wouldn’t feel the same way? Let’s be a little more accurate with history. Keep the angry Native American fighting the whites that were coming over and taking their land, riches, and spreading diseases. See that’s the real problem with the portrayal of Native American, white washing history.

Re: Mini Review: Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Cloud - Pretty Horrific
@jbreez00 because cloud gaming is a scam. You don’t own it and they’ll take it away for licensing or pretty much whatever they say.

@Ratchet916 you don’t have enough likes for this comment.

@darthllama how so? I’ve never seen Mario portrayed in a negative light? I mean he’s video game royalty, more recognizable than Mickey Mouse.
