I know we just got Bowsers Inside Story Zelda Spirit Tracks....but there hasn't been really any new Nintendo game announced. Eh, i guess that's what E3's for. But the DS2 will most likely be revealed
Aslo is the DSi worth uprgading to?....Personally i could care less for DSi Ware for the most part and the Webcam. But the larger screens, the power button place change and volume buttons are the only reason that i'd want to upgrade. but i also hate the Matte Finish on the outside, compared to the DSLite beautiful glossy finish. And i'm one of the few that could care less about not being able to play GBA games on the DSi....Reason being is that you cant configure the buttons in the DS options....playing most GBA games on the DSLite for example sucks button layout wise. I love that you get much better color, brightness and no reflective screen along with a headphone jack which is all awesome. but the DS's tiny buttons make it not as fun or comfortable to play. instead of having to use the B and A buttons, i'd rather switch B to X and A to B Snes style, but you can't.....
Wicked article. I love SMB 3...BUT i still prefer SMB2. it's so bizzare, weird, dreamy and just flat out different from the rest.

heh..good thing i saved an unopened pack of Wii Points...but eh, I always use my Credit Card hehe. anyways, i'm dieing to hear the rest of the music!
I honestly dont know how people played MM9 on their Xbox or PS3...both controllers feel too modern and terrible(especially the 360 with the broken d-pad) when playing it.
The Wii Remote on it's side on the other hand is fantastic since it emulates the Nes controller and it's the only way to fly. Anyways, wicked news! Downloading on day one baby. My most anticipated game for this year hehe
will be buying! But I'm about to begin Silent Hill: Shattered Memories first. And after I'm done with that i'll be giving Hotel Dusk a go. Mega Man 10(oh hell yes!) after that and 'then' this ....Still need to get LostWinds 2
I hope to god it's 3D....apperantly this new 2010 3D shutter glassesusing twin HDMI which supports full 1080p HD in each for gaming and movies is incredible and easily beats out Imax 3D according to an Article written by an IGN Gear head. 1080p Full HD Games HDMI 5.1 DD SS Hard Drive Compatible with GCN and Wii titles Transfer VC/WiiWare titles to it from your Wii Next Gen Graphics 3D Advanced Motion Controls Something mind blowing from Nintendo
@Shadx The Sidescroller parts with Alex were slow in the original as well...I wasn't bothered by it all. But i totaly miss the 'kid' Alex from the original. Fred the Frog better maker a come back!
@ fxtek76 Oh man, don't get me on Festers Quest ;p I actually have it for the Nes...And all can say is that it's slow, very frusturating and tough as nails...once you die, you start all the way back to the beginning of the game. it's ridiculous....and the enemies are totaly cheap, once you're stuck in a corner you're basically screwed since your gun shoots on a curve.lol
Blaster Master for the Nes is seriously a 'love to hate' type game...mainly because of the insanely tough bosses(the second half of them) the music while good at times becomes almost ear grating and annoying. What i love about it though is the bogus rad story that could of only been done on the Nes and that intro with the frog of course ;p
Back in the Nes days i never got too far in it. I baught it a while ago, made it to the final boss but i cant beat his final form. I've called it quits with this one;p i'm not replaying all of those stages for the zillionth time...Anyways, i wouldn't call Blaster Master a classic at all, it's a solid game, but a classic? no way. Dont get me wrong, the transitions from SOPHIA to the overhead view was awesome back in the day. but it doesn't perfect either of them, they're just good...actually i'm not crazy on the overhead stuff, unless you're fighting against the boss. And yes i had to cheat against the 7th Lobster Boss. he was too unpredictable and insanely tough ;p And hear i thaught the Crab was hard.
But that aside, i'm still very excited for BM Overdrive. but what scares me is that it was just announced today, and it's hitting in 2 more days! what does that tell you?...Right now, all of my love is for MM10 hehe, but BM Overdrive is such an awesome little suprise!
Nice news...I will say I'm interested, But back in the day when i owned a Snes and Genesis....Sonic just didn't quite do it for me(Rocket Knight Adventures blew it away imo)
Yet I did finish the first 2 Sonics games back in the day,..But the platforming was totaly mediocre, and the sense of speed while great is just something 'pretty' to watch since you're not in control. I think that's my way of looking at it now, Yet i have to admit, playing Sonic for the first time when it was released was some pretty awesome stuff ...But Mario and Mega Man he is not...Sonic is overrated, and i just find the franchise boring for the most part and broken(3D Games mainly)
Digiki...I found MM2 to be the most vibrant of the bunch....Air, Bubble and Wood man's stages come to mind. MM3 was the darkest and dullest when it came to level design hands down. 6 was incredibly bland especially.
I'd say MM3 was the start of the names going down hill... Hard and Top man? really...but ya, Dust man was a terrible idea. Also MM7 had some pretty crappy and ugly overly detailed designs for their robot masters,,,,MM9 and especially 10 have some great ones. Splash comes to mind, and freaking sheep man is awesome.lol
@Wardy I have fond memories of renting MM4 when i was a kid. MM1 was the first i ever played, then MM2 and MM3 of course. Anyways, Skull man's stage always stood out in my mind(and the music), but for some reason MM4 just didn't seem as fun as 2,3 or 1. again, while the music was 'ok' it wasn't up to snuff. Toad, Dive and Ring mans stages are pretty rad as well. Drill, Dust and Pharo had the worst stages hands down.
Anyways as for the MM Anniversary Collection....of course playing it was the gamecube controller is terrible. the B and A buttons have been switched also which is weird. Nintendo ephasized on the big 'A' button being the action button, that's why. But really, you need to get a Wii Retro Port...it's available to use with your Nes or SNES controller, it's a must. they're inexpensive, and you can get them off of Retrousb,.com
I'm waiting for my Wii SNES retro port to come in any day now. going to use it for MM7 on the Anniversary collection. the only MM in the classic franchise i never got a chance to play as crazy as it sounds...along with MM and Bass.
@Swerd_Murd...There's no way in hell MM5 had the best Music in the series, that goes to 2 and 9. But to each their own, but for me MM5 was forgettable Music wise. dont get me started on 6, that had to of been the worst out of the Nes series musicly.
I understand Iwata's concern with pro long health risks regarding 3D, but still his opinion about having to wear 3D glasses is stupid. I wouldn't mind wearing them at all. As for the IPad, i could care less. I dont give a damn about all of these fancy aardvark cell phones and so on anyways. There's nothing i hate more than obnoxious teenyboppers who text on their blackberries all days and their Iphones...It gets to the point where they're so into it that they ignore everything around them and become totaly unsocial with the people or person they're hanging out with...
@Gizmo. I dont understand either...5 and 6(especially) are the duds of the Franchise. People also seem to hate on MM8 the most though, saying it's the worst, but enjoyed it back in the day. i think the music and Mega Man's voice especially were the games negatives. And some of the parts where you're riding rush which seemed to long.
Digiki I actually find MM3 to be a bit overrated. it's rocking some of the worst Robot Masters....Needle and Hard man are just terrible from a design stand point. Snake was bad ass however. RM's aside, the game was plagued with some annoying slowdown, and i just wasn't digging alot of the levels...Needle, Hard and Gemeni man's stages were boring. It also ditched Mega Man's 1 and 2's classic Robot Introduction tune for MM 3's more annoying and less memorable one. But i gotta say, I loved those Wily Return stages,...Shadow Man's especially. good stuff.
MM4 on the other hand definitly had better Robot Masters, the best Boss music if you ask me, and some of the levels were vibrant and colorful just like MM2's. Dive Man stage epsecially is my favorite. I think the game kind of falls apart once you hit Kosacks and Dr.Wily's castle. it just felt so bland and lacking. but yes, it's definitly better than 5 and 6. I think I'm going to play through MM4 on my Mega Man Anniversary Collection(GameCube) again, it's been a while...And it's great because I can use my NES controller since i have the Wii Retro port which is awesome.
NES VirtualConsole games on the other hand were ported terribly concerning colors and brightness. they all looks darker, washed out and not as colorful compared to how they looked back on the nes ;p but that's another story all together.
@JacobG...why do so many people compare the new 3D technology to the old 3D technology back in the day? you do realise that these are new shutter glasses which create full 1080p in each eye, AND these new 2010 HDTVS have the new 3D tech built inside them since they were designed for these new particular shutter glasses and 3DBluray.
. People can knock this new technology all they want, but none of them have yet to see it for themselves, unless you were at CES. people just love to give out their useless negative nit picking opinions, but people need to realise, this 3D is even better than the stufff you see at Imax3D. Hell, even one of IGN's gear heads was amazed by these new shutter glasses with the new 3D 2010 HDTVS. he watched a new trailer of avatar with the 3D and it beat the crap out the Imax 3D version in theatres. it's fantastic stuff. after, all it's all about depth and that's something that videogames would defiinitly benifit from. it would be simply put amazing, more exciting than advanced motion controls if you ask me.
The PS3 demonstrated Sardust 3D using this techonology, but it was very simple 3D, but still very effective. i for one cant wait, and if nintendo makes the stupid decision to not use it for next gen then i'll just get a PS4 to go along with my Wii2(whatever it's going to be called)
And finally, i'm just really amazed by how close minded people are when it comes to this new 3D tech. I say shut up and wait to experience it for yourselves. I'll take IGN's word and the stuff is truly fantastic when done right of course. It's the next step in film, and the next needed step in gaming(along with head tracking...smell...but it's all going to lead down to Virtual reality so hehe)
I cant remember one single track from MM6....All I can remember from MM5 was Star and Stone man's stage along with the Boss Music. 4's is more memorable and imo it has the greatest boss music out of all of the games. Skull, Dive and Ring Man along with Dr.Kosacks 2nd Level are solid tracks. But as it stands MM4 is just above average, it's not exactly worth downloading if you ask me.
Mega Man 4 considered to be the weakest of the Classic Series? WTF That easily goes to 5 and 6(which was uninspired, uncreative, had horrible music and robot masters ect) especially. 4 was alright....at least the robot masters were better than MM3's ;p But i feel like the mega buster wasn't the best thing for the franchise. But hey, you dont have to use it if you dont want to hehe.
I disagree with his 3D comment....imagine the possibilites in depth ic can achieve ect? I dont care if i'm wearing glasses while gaming, people swinging around a wii remote dont exactly look cool either, or do they? what does it matter honestly.lol it's all about the experience damnit.
Anyways, Iwata didn't rip the 3D technology itself, he ripped on wearing the glasses... I could care less if I had to wear glasses, 3D gaming has tons of potential and is verrryyy exciting if you ask me. But this is a sign that nintendo most likely wont go 3D next gen which is very dissapointing
lol...well, like i said great idea. Love the fact that you're not some typical built male lead, while instead you're a fat food critic which is very original...and vampires on a plane, sounds good....definitly beats snakes ;p
Honestly this game alraedy sticks out in my mind just based on the idea and overall is unique.
But as far as gameplay goes, like i said I hope it's not a typical stale brawler. As far as the graphics go in the screen shots, i dig the style, looks good. And what's up with the Twilight/Bella illustration in the cominc?lol weather this game is good or bad it has already totaly stood out in my mind as something that definitly sticks out, eh..that's creativity for ya.
Anyways,. I'm sold on the idea. If the gameplay delivers it's a buy for me...just take your sweet as time with the game and make it something you guys will be proud of. Too many companies release garbage and dont give a damn weather it's good or not. where's the pride?
I also managed to beat ZX too...why I put myself through that torture i dont know ;p...I think i wouldn't of hated it that much if it werent for the horrible and tedious confusing exploration parts. I mean after all isn't that the difference between Z and ZX? ZX adds exploration, a map and those suit abilities. And imo all of these additions ruined the game, because they were poorly excuted(besides the suits) even the levels themselves werent that fun most of the time. All in all, if the exploration and Map were ditched, i garuntee i would of had a better time iwth it.
@Kurona I shouldn't of said the word difficult. I ment to say Irritating, because that's the perfect word that describes ZX ;p
Hell I wish MM9 would of been a tad harder. Dont get me wrong it was challenging in parts, especially the tough as nails Dr.Wily. But it has nothing as far as difficulty goes on the X series (X2 - X6) Anyways, so i take it you're a fan of Klonoa? Amazing game hehe, one of my favorites for the wii
The Only Mega Man series I've never played. I will be getting this for sure. And if you ask me, besides all of those crappy never ending Battle Network games, the ZX(out of the two) games have been the worst. ZX is officially the worst Mega Man game i've ever played. I hate that game with a passion. The ear grating tunes, the horrible confusing and boring exploration, useless map, insane difficulty totaly threw me off ;p
Hopefully I wont feel the same way about the Zero Series.
Beautiful. take me back to the 80's baby, i miss it! ;p Anyways, i definitly dig this more than the MM9 Box Art. March can't come soon enough, can't wait!
I'm excited, yet not excited at the same time for some reason....It looks like a blast, it supports MotionPlus, has Metroid Prime 3 IR Controls, great graphics and presentation ect...but i dont know....Maybe i'm just too damn thrilled and extremely excited for Mega Man 10 hehe ;p
@Sean Aaron Alright, you got me ;p I checked out a few videoes, seen some snippets of the fantastic and beautiful and creative intro and heard more of the music and it all looks and sounds great. As for art direction being a zero i take that back as well. But it looks to get very repetitive and it just doesn't look like my cup of tea. But it definitly looks like it has charm. Ahh, and I also take back the cheap comment. at the time i only checked out some of the screens and IGN's terrible video review. Anyways, example of cheap would be some of the offerings on WiiWare, many of the mini game fests that are on the Wii. Chicken Shoot is a nice example. Rich you say? Wario Land Shake it! Klonoa, Punch-Out!! ect ;p
Move over SSB Brawl, SSFII HD Remix and Guilty Gear XX AC Plus...Time to make room for this bad boy. I just have to get a second Classic Controller and I'll be good to go. And thank god it has online....Because when it comes to fighting games i just absolutely love it. Because if you get tired of playing against your friends and want more of a challenge than it's a blast. Hell, I usually dont even care for Online most of the time, but for fighters it's fantastic...Which remindes me of SSB Brawl. geez was it oh so' laggy, just terrible.
@RetroButtons Like many have stated, you're totaly missing the point of NMH. Now the combat is golden....And believe me I hate 3D Brawlers, don't even get me started on Madworld, but NMH feels so satisfying and those minor motion/waggle controls actually improve the combat. Combat aside, the Bosses/Fights, the characters, the retro throwbacks, story, music and the fact that you're playing as some Otaku nut assassin is pretty awesome if you ask me. Again it was just the terrible, unrefined, ugly, boring and tiresome Open world gameplay which butchered the experience, as well as the jobs which got old fast. If you can get past those things and the fact that the game is alittle rough around the edges, than there is a solid experience to be had. It's definitely a 7/10 in me eyes.
As for NMH2, i'm realllly looking forward to the 8 bit jobs especially, and the fact that there's no open world gameply. just click to where you want to go on the map, and 'whalla!' you're there. And of course, i'm dieing to see the new bosses, experience the great gameplay and find out what happens along the way story-wise. Once i get NMH2 I'm selling the first..Even though i liked the first, those two negative things i mentioned messed with the experience, where as NMH2 adresses both issues and improves on everything else.
Definitly will be buying...After I get Tatsunoku Vs Capcom and A Boy and his Blob first
Anyways....
No Annoying ugly bland Open World Sand Box 8 Bit Jobs
Count me in! hehe. Now the first NMH was a stellar game, but again the open world was horrible, tiresom and repetitive and the jobs got boring fast. The Presentation, combat controls, characters, music and retro throwbacks were fantastic, but overall I'd nail it with a 7/10.
I have yet to play either Rondo of Blood or Bloodlines. I'm totaly stoked for this! So I'm guessing it will be released on WiiWare i take it? as it's not on any of the VC consoles...unless we're talking Dracula X which apperantly wasn't up to snuff, another castlevania i havent tried. But since Rondo of blood is hitting there's no point in playing the crappier Dracula X for the SNES.
OH and can you fling your whip around like in Super Castlevania IV? If not somebody's gonna be a sad panda ;p
I have a feeling this game will get nailed with a 7, And honestly, the whole long haired asian ghost thing is getting stale.... The Grudge movies and Ju-on films may have had some creepy moments(and lame ones), but it's seriously played out.
. Anyways, you wanna know what's freaky? Rachel's deformed scary looking sister off of Pet Cemetary, not that's creepy! ;p i couldn't sleep after experiencing that when i was a kid.lol
I have zero interest in this game, the art direction is a 0/10...where's the creativity ? it may be there regarding gameplay, but the terrible jazz music and look ruin it for me. It looks cheap
I LOVED the original back on the Cube. I remember getting it along with Rogue Leader II when it was released for the GCN Launch. IGN totaly underscore it with a 7.4, or whatever it was. It's a 9/10 in my eyes. May be alittle short, but oh so sweet. Good times! If it's New Play Control I'll still be buying.
lol..some of the people are so clueless on here and clearly dont read other peoples posts. that DS picture at the top is a 'MOCK UP' holly hell people.lol
It would be nice though if the Wii got a new System release upgrade with Flash memory so there wont be any use for an SD Card. So there will be tons of room for all saved WiiWare/VC games as well as an HDMI Input and of course some sort of HD scaler....Not that it will display games in HD of course, but to scale better on HDTV's sets weather that is possible or makes any sense ;p
On another note, I'm going HD once the Wii2 hits....Honestly the Wii is the reason why i havent baught a 50" 1080p Plasma. Wii Games play and look better on a CRT SDTV using Component cables. i'm rocking a 32" Sony Wega Trinitron and Motion, Color and Black levels are second to none. BUT I'm missing out on Widescreen and Progressivescan which sucks of course. but I've played the Wii on a few plasma's and while those 2 things are fantastic, the upscaled image and Lag is the deal breaker for me. I could always keep my CRT for Wii games and buy a 50" 3D 1080p Plasma for Movies(Bluray/DVD)...But, that would be annoying as I'd want my gaming set up to be in the living room and so on. Argh....i wish Nintendo had some sort of scaler that would work with 1080p, so the PQ would look better and there would be zero lag...hehe, went alittle off topic there ;p
Rhansley64 2014? are you serious? There's no way in hell...A Succesor to the DS seems about right for Spring 2011, if not no later than 2012. Hell the DS Phat was relesed Christmas 04'....Now it's 2010 So the DS has been out for slightly over 5 years....While the DS Lite was released in Spring 2006 Which is when I actually jumped on board hehe
Anyways, 5 years(Every nintendo system has done it so far) or 6 at the most for any Game Console seems about right when it comes to releasing a Successor. As for the Wii, that hit in Christmas 06'. So it's been out for for alittle over 3 years. 2 more to go before Nintendo busts out a new System. BUT it could be longer, everyone is saying the lifespan of this generation may be longer...Personally I'd expect something for Christmas 2012....anything later and i'd be totaly annoyed.
I have a feeling Nintendo will release a portable Virtual Console for the DS2 giving us GameBoy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games...yet DS games themselves will be backwords compatible with it So no worries there. And on another note, am i the only one who doesn't give a damn about DSiWare?...WiiWare on the otherhand is fantastic .

Ya...Miyamoto's next 'MotionPlus' Title is SPAN SMASHER.lol
I actually think it looks pretty damn awesome and i'm excited for it.

Re: Nintendo Download: 8th February 2010 (North America)
So do you think Blaster Master OD better than the original?
Fred the Frog better be in it! ;p

Re: Nintendo Download: 8th February 2010 (North America)
If Blaster Master Overdrive gets solid reviews, then it's time to download
Re: Blaster Master: Overdrive Coming to WiiWare on Monday
@Shadx
The Sidescroller parts with Alex were slow in the original as well...I wasn't bothered by it all.
But i totaly miss the 'kid' Alex from the original. Fred the Frog better maker a come back!
Re: Blaster Master: Overdrive Coming to WiiWare on Monday
@ fxtek76
Oh man, don't get me on Festers Quest ;p I actually have it for the Nes...And all can say is that it's slow, very frusturating and tough as nails...once you die, you start all the way back to the beginning of the game. it's ridiculous....and the enemies are totaly cheap, once you're stuck in a corner you're basically screwed since your gun shoots on a curve.lol
Re: Blaster Master: Overdrive Coming to WiiWare on Monday
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 Coming to Wii
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2010
Digiki...I found MM2 to be the most vibrant of the bunch....Air, Bubble and Wood man's stages come to mind. MM3 was the darkest and dullest when it came to level design hands down. 6 was incredibly bland especially.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2010
I'd say MM3 was the start of the names going down hill... Hard and Top man? really...but ya, Dust man was a terrible idea. Also MM7 had some pretty crappy and ugly overly detailed designs for their robot masters,,,,MM9 and especially 10 have some great ones. Splash comes to mind, and freaking sheep man is awesome.lol
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2010
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2010
@Swerd_Murd...There's no way in hell MM5 had the best Music in the series, that goes to 2 and 9. But to each their own, but for me MM5 was forgettable Music wise. dont get me started on 6, that had to of been the worst out of the Nes series musicly.
Re: Nintendo Chief Doesn't Care for the iPad
But the DSi XL isn't being treated like a next gen product or a HUGE deal compared to the iPAD.
Re: Nintendo Chief Doesn't Care for the iPad
I understand Iwata's concern with pro long health risks regarding 3D, but still his opinion about having to wear 3D glasses is stupid. I wouldn't mind wearing them at all. As for the IPad, i could care less. I dont give a damn about all of these fancy aardvark cell phones and so on anyways. There's nothing i hate more than obnoxious teenyboppers who text on their blackberries all days and their Iphones...It gets to the point where they're so into it that they ignore everything around them and become totaly unsocial with the people or person they're hanging out with...
teenagers + Blackberries / IPhones + Movie theatre = AWFUL Experience.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2010
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2010
Re: Nintendo Chief Doesn't Care for the iPad
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2010
I cant remember one single track from MM6....All I can remember from MM5 was Star and Stone man's stage along with the Boss Music. 4's is more memorable and imo it has the greatest boss music out of all of the games. Skull, Dive and Ring Man along with Dr.Kosacks 2nd Level are solid tracks. But as it stands MM4 is just above average, it's not exactly worth downloading if you ask me.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2010
Mega Man 4 considered to be the weakest of the Classic Series? WTF
That easily goes to 5 and 6(which was uninspired, uncreative, had horrible music and robot masters ect) especially. 4 was alright....at least the robot masters were better than MM3's ;p But i feel like the mega buster wasn't the best thing for the franchise. But hey, you dont have to use it if you dont want to hehe.
Re: Nintendo Chief Doesn't Care for the iPad
Re: Last Flight Bloodies Up Facebook
lol...well, like i said great idea.
Re: Mega Man Zero Collection Aims Westward
I also managed to beat ZX too...why I put myself through that torture i dont know ;p...I think i wouldn't of hated it that much if it werent for the horrible and tedious confusing exploration parts. I mean after all isn't that the difference between Z and ZX? ZX adds exploration, a map and those suit abilities. And imo all of these additions ruined the game, because they were poorly excuted(besides the suits) even the levels themselves werent that fun most of the time. All in all, if the exploration and Map were ditched, i garuntee i would of had a better time iwth it.
Re: Mega Man Zero Collection Aims Westward
@Kurona I shouldn't of said the word difficult. I ment to say Irritating, because that's the perfect word that describes ZX ;p
Hell I wish MM9 would of been a tad harder. Dont get me wrong it was challenging in parts, especially the tough as nails Dr.Wily. But it has nothing as far as difficulty goes on the X series (X2 - X6) Anyways, so i take it you're a fan of Klonoa? Amazing game hehe, one of my favorites for the wii
Re: Last Flight Bloodies Up Facebook
lol...i love how Matt C on IGN is again the ONE to cover another so called 'mature' hardcore wii title.lol
Anyways, I really dig the idea of the game, but i have a feeling it's going to be another repetitive, shallow and mindless brawler.
Re: Mega Man Zero Collection Aims Westward
The Only Mega Man series I've never played. I will be getting this for sure.
And if you ask me, besides all of those crappy never ending Battle Network games, the ZX(out of the two) games have been the worst. ZX is officially the worst Mega Man game i've ever played. I hate that game with a passion. The ear grating tunes, the horrible confusing and boring exploration, useless map, insane difficulty totaly threw me off ;p
Hopefully I wont feel the same way about the Zero Series.
Re: Mega Man 10 Box Art Released
Beautiful. take me back to the 80's baby, i miss it! ;p
Anyways, i definitly dig this more than the MM9 Box Art. March can't come soon enough, can't wait!
Re: Red Steel 2 Shoots and Slashes in March
I'm excited, yet not excited at the same time for some reason....It looks like a blast, it supports MotionPlus, has Metroid Prime 3 IR Controls, great graphics and presentation ect...but i dont know....Maybe i'm just too damn thrilled and extremely excited for Mega Man 10 hehe ;p
Re: Review: de Blob (Wii)
@Sean Aaron
Alright, you got me ;p
I checked out a few videoes, seen some snippets of the fantastic and beautiful and creative intro and heard more of the music and it all looks and sounds great. Klonoa, Punch-Out!! ect ;p
Re: Review: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars (Wii)
Re: Review: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
Re: Review: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii)
Definitly will be buying...After I get Tatsunoku Vs Capcom and A Boy and his Blob first
Anyways....
No Annoying ugly bland Open World Sand Box
8 Bit Jobs
Count me in! hehe. Now the first NMH was a stellar game, but again the open world was horrible, tiresom and repetitive and the jobs got boring fast. The Presentation, combat controls, characters, music and retro throwbacks were fantastic, but overall I'd nail it with a 7/10.
Re: Castlevania: Rondo of Blood ESRB Rated
I have yet to play either Rondo of Blood or Bloodlines. I'm totaly stoked for this! So I'm guessing it will be released on WiiWare i take it? as it's not on any of the VC consoles...unless we're talking Dracula X which apperantly wasn't up to snuff, another castlevania i havent tried. But since Rondo of blood is hitting there's no point in playing the crappier Dracula X for the SNES.
OH and can you fling your whip around like in Super Castlevania IV? If not somebody's gonna be a sad panda ;p
Re: First Impressions: Calling
I have a feeling this game will get nailed with a 7,
And honestly, the whole long haired asian ghost thing is getting stale....
Re: Review: de Blob (Wii)
I have zero interest in this game, the art direction is a 0/10...where's the creativity ? it may be there regarding gameplay, but the terrible jazz music and look ruin it for me. It looks cheap
Re: Luigi's Mansion to Get Sequel?
I LOVED the original back on the Cube. I remember getting it along with Rogue Leader II when it was released for the GCN Launch. IGN totaly underscore it with a 7.4, or whatever it was. It's a 9/10 in my eyes. May be alittle short, but oh so sweet. Good times! If it's New Play Control I'll still be buying.
Re: Analyst: Nintendo DS2 to be Launched Next Year
lol..some of the people are so clueless on here and clearly dont read other peoples posts. that DS picture at the top is a 'MOCK UP' holly hell people.lol
Re: Analyst: Nintendo DS2 to be Launched Next Year
It would be nice though if the Wii got a new System release upgrade with Flash memory so there wont be any use for an SD Card.
Re: Analyst: Nintendo DS2 to be Launched Next Year
Rhansley64 2014? are you serious?
Re: Analyst: Nintendo DS2 to be Launched Next Year
I have a feeling Nintendo will release a portable Virtual Console for the DS2 giving us GameBoy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games...yet DS games themselves will be backwords compatible with it
So no worries there. And on another note, am i the only one who doesn't give a damn about DSiWare?...WiiWare on the otherhand is fantastic .
Re: DSi XL Gets The Hands-on Video Treatment
If they dont release it in White on launch day i'm not buying it. the White DSi LL looks gorgeous,
