@KevynOnVideo Maybe in the playstation 2/3 gamecube days, but in the 8 and 16 bit games, movie tie-ins were not cash grabs. both the SNES and Sega versions of Aladdin, the Lion King, Sega's Jurassic Park, Batman on the NES, Die Hard on the Playstation, Spiderman 2, Golden Eye. etc.
@Rika_Yoshitake Wait the same person that commented on the P3P review copy/pasted the same comment on the P4G review? Wow. No wonder this commenter looks so foolish.
@Razer it works fine online. Never have an issue. Stop exaggerating. And you couldn't care about the game or its new content and yet you're here complaining. You clicked on this article so a part of you certainly cares. If you don't like Smash anymore then go play something else and stop complaining. You sound juvenile.
I really don't understand the "no map" complaint. I get lose in Metroidvanias all the time and had no issues with Carrion. The game is segmented so you don't need a map.
@kenyowa use guns, grenade launchers, rocket launchers, hermatic grenades. Maybe throw a package at your head? Final Smash could be him calling a BT to take you out.
@Moroboshi876 Look up more videos on Gaming Historian's channel. He goes in depth with a lot of different games. Also, I would highly recommend reading, or listening to the audiobook of, Console Wars. It's about the SEGA/Nintendo war in the 90s and shows the hubris of SEGA and why they kept failing after the success of the Genesis.
@Equinox it is kind of disturbing. It's not Five nights at Freddy jumpscare scary. It is legit scary. The implications of what the enemies do to children is pretty disturbing. However, he may not understand what's happening, so...there is that.
I don't think I have ever disagreed with a review more than this one. The ONLY complaint is the load times, but taking 4 points off for that is kind of ridiculous. Yes, they are frustrating, but that's why i would give the game an 8 or 8.5. The game is gorgeous, fun, inventive, and super creepy. Hopefully, there will be a patch.

Re: Review: Star Renegades - Borrows Ideas From The Best To Create A Truly Inventive RPG
Rogue-likes/lites are the new Metroidvania. The oversaturation is killing me. I was interested right up until that part.
