Hmm....I'm reading some whacky conversing about making a Smash Bros spinoff an fps? Ok...Remind me again how that would be cool considering half the Nintendo franchise roster doesn't fit the gameplay style?
Also, I disagree about a console not needing processing power to sell because otherwise why would've Nintendo even bothered to finally tap into HD to begin with? Processing power is everything, whether it's a computer or consoles, which as of current gen, kinda already are computers as far as hardware goes; The processor will allow for a better experience in terms of audio and graphics, more functionality and controls for general gameplay, etc.
Lastly, Sony and Microsoft shouldn't compete with Nintendo? Seriously? Considering software is Microsoft's department and entertainment hardware is Sony's? You do realize both these companies are very successful at what they do best, right? Gaming really should be no exception to this rule whatsoever.
I don't believe this analyist understands the real definition of Core games; Core basically means a game that makes use of a lot of features/functionality the console has to offer, and in this case Core games for Wii U mean games that can be played with both the GamePad and onscreen. My only real concern here is figuring out whether or not this actually applies to Virtual Console titles because figure this; We're talking about games that date way back to the NES, well before any of the current tech the Wii (even 3DS for that matter) or Wii U is providing us. I don't see why the Wii U Pro Controller shouldn't be compatible with Virutal Console titles (even despite emulation via the Wii) at the very least if you consider the button layout (and only apply those with appropriate functionality) not only on the Classic Controllers, but the Wii Remote as well.
Besides, it makes very little sense for this Wii U Pro Controller to work only with Wii U titles since we already know the majority of retail/physical copy titles will be supporting Wii U GamePad style gameplay. But, I dunno....maybe someone else sees something that I don't here because again, there's just so many posts about this back and forth that I didn't read all fo em because there appears a lot of different views and questions, valid points going back and forth about this.
1 of the bigger disappointing cancellations that a lot of people are still forgetting about, while possibly weak on the plot side, was MegaMan Universe. I honestly don't see why in the world Capcom couldn't've continued to apply the "create your own MegaMan" concept into a full fledged game as opposed to cancelling it and dumjping the concept into this craptastic mobile game, so far only on Apple iOS!
Another thing that bugs me about this whole scenario is how numorous times in the past people have claimed there's very little that could be done with MegaMan gameplay-wise..... Well why not take a look back at the history where all the greats like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Sonic, etc started, then tell me that. It truely is a shame just exactly how many opportunites Capcom has missed to try new directions and possibilities and turn things around for their for their franchise player, and failed to deliver, (and in my opinion starting with MegaMan Zero) which is most likely the reason they felt everybody was neglecting or starting to turn away from the series, feeling that nothing reall new, unique, or even game changing could be done with him.
After Keiji Inafune resigned (cough*quit) from Capcom I can only imagine MegaMan saying/thinking to himself, "I have no father!" Capcom, if you're even reading this, here's an idea since we already know you can't deliver a true, fully fledged MegaMan game with XOver....how about cancelling THAT game instead and maybe try applying some real elements of your higher sellers for a different direction into a REAL MegaMan title even hardcore gamers and fans can appreciate!
I actually have a hard time believing the problem here when playing a game on the 3DS vs the Wii U because I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I've really never come across a single (3)DS title where I'm looking at both screens at the same time to play the game. No offense here, but unless maybe there's a weird cross-eye thing going on here, i really don't see what difference this makes vs the Wii U. 2nd, I don't know the exact success of 3rd part6y games that've done well/failed when it comes to Nintendo in general, but eevr since GameCube all I've ever been able to satisify was mostly Nintendo's own titles, including DS and 3DS, so I can kinda see where he's coming from here, leading to #3. A good majority of people gaming on XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 have without a shadow of a doubt argued they simply prefer to use a gamepad and not doing the whole motion thing. For me where the DS is concerned, I can't honestly say I've found anything too serious where the stylus isn't awkward, especally with being a leftyy, except Nintendodgs (+ Cats). Lastly, on Microsoft and Sony copying Nintendo via tablets? Let's not forget Microsoft was the 1st to even utlize tablets in the 1st place, via stylus pens, though with what little we had at the time, and then Apple began stealing the show the show with touchscreen tablets. I suppose in Sony's scenario crossplay could somewhat be copying, but the Vita was released 1st; if anything Nintendo is copying this function. Meanwhile Microsoft's aim with SmartGlass is to expand gameplay experiences with campanion-like apps to the games, so as to offer exterior notification/Hud type things, for instance. The only difference ismultiple mobile devices are expected to support this, so i really can't say they're copying Nintendo much, either.
Ironically, blowing on the cartridges or not when you've owned and useda system for so long never really did the trick. Sure it was a temporary fix, but what do you do when the system decides to freeze up and all you see on the screen is part game part garbled numbers and alphabet? I'm not too sure whether or not this has actually 100% resolved my problem, but I remember a time my the plastic piece attatched to my Game Genie cartridge broke off, so basically my cartridge was stuck inside the system. So for the longest time until I cold figure out how to get it out, I left it and ironically it actually did seem to freeze up a lot less frequently with the garbled screens.
I find it rather ironic that this guy's quote claims nothing new was ever promised or even announced, yet Capcom was dumb enough to take a crap on MegaMan Universe (yes, and Legends 3 as well, despite I've never had much interest in the Legends series) and months after announcing a similar "create your own MegaMan" social concept called (RockMan) MegaMan XOver (unless it's merely a demo, I'm really not sure), except that its release is expected this Fall on iOS for iphone/ipad owners. I mean really, what planet is this "Christian Svensson" from that he doesn't know about such a craptastic anniversary release??
I don't really think the current voices match up the way they should, though. Whoever did the voice for Wario for the original GameBoy commercials (Super Mario Land 3, 4, etc) seemed to be just right for the type of character he is. Luigi? Meh, again I feel the voice from Super Mario Bros Super Show was more him than the current.
@jNintendoNerd Funny you should mention Seth Mcfarlen because in all honesty, i like how that guy portrayed Mario's voice and not as high-pitchy Mario ever since Super Mario 64. I mean, maybe I'm a little crazy on this 1, but in all honesty I don't believe an Italian's (real) voice should sound like that with the exception of the accent. Though admittingly, I'm really not ashamed at all to say I was very much a fan of the Super Mario bros Super Show, plus everyone who voiced the characters back then.....I wouldn't've changed a thing about the voices there, either.
This is quite obviously a mislabel on Amazon's part. However, ever since the 1st announcements of this game, rumor or not, I've been saying all along this game would've been more appropriate on the Wii (U) control-wise vs 3DS. I mean, this is a no brainer; Most games where moving a reticle is concerned is a shooter scheme, 3rd or 1st person, (Yes, I realize Kid Icarus: Uprising doesn't exactly fit the tps (but does count as 3rd person genre in general) shooter genre, but using a stylus is just plain awkward, no offense) which the Wii remote and nunchuck would very easily work wonders. And for anyone in doubt that a dual analog scheme would work very well, just ask the majority that (prefer to) game (via gamepad) 1st/3rd person on XBox 360/PlayStation 3 and know the genres' controls (such as myself, I own all 3 Although I'd personally rather expand my control scheme aside from dual anallogs, basically what Wii remote and nunchuck and PS Move and nav are already capable of for shooters, upon finding the right shooter.)
All this aside, with the successful launch of game and and most of the popular feedback it's been receiving, I see no reason why there shouldn't be a sequel, or perhaps just an expansion of all new adventures in the Kid Icarus series altogether. (Most likely 2-3 years down the line, or in tune with series like Legend of Zelda, Metroid, etc) Why kill off the series now? Heck, if they really wanted to, to promote a sequel or expansion, a Wii U port is doable, considering viewing 3D isn't required or even part of general gameplay setup. Nintendo has my full support and more on this 1, my highest-most requests even!
@UnseatingKDawg I'm totally 100% with you on this 1! Nintendo should've realized this this since day 1; When, why and how they were creating/conceiving the cards it wasn't just a card game, it was multiple variety, thus making them trade-worthy as a TCG. Henceforth, those cards should've without a shadow of a doubt, began hitting like-retailers along side of the game's release. And what happened when you click 1 of their links to a retailer...Results along the lines of "search found 0 items available". Shame on Nintendo for this is all I have to say, because the only other place you can go to obtain card packs is the Nintendo World Store. (I found out they have tournaments or whatever on Fridays) My only 2 problems here is that NY is a bit out of my way, and I believe by now they don't have 1st series anymore, and the only couple/few cards I'm trying to find ((US) Medusa, Queen of the Underworld, (monster) are just that!) store in NY.
I wonder what'll happen to their catalogs they used to offer, if they still do, to subscribers once this goes away....This'll only make obtaining such valued goodies even harder to find! half the time i'm finding stuff on Club Nintendo I can't even afford (Not that half of it is even worth it imo, no offense), 1 because of $ and 2 half the time i don't really feel I'm even being offered enough to compell me and keep as much interest.
I wonder if perhaps we might geta Nintendo Direct feed on this 1, because even though I've been hearing recently September 13 is when we'll get more info, the info above doesn't exactly clearly where/how we'll get more info.
Wow, another magazine bites the dust....presumedly in favor of digital formats. The only reason i suspect this sort of thing is because the same unfortunate thing has been happening with other magazines subscriptions of mine (In some ways forcing to find other maagzines that provide option physical magazine or digital; Game Informer and @Gamer. Personally, I think digital content copies be a freebie to those who prefer the physical copy, not a subscription preference); GamePro, Shonen Jump.....Official XBox Magazine is still in circulation, though.
I';ve always said since this ssytem was announced it felt like there was sort of a DS cocnept in play on the Wii U here. Pokémon definitely seems like a no brainer for the Wii U. Now as for Kid Icarus, hell yeah I want a sequel, more adventures, a stronger series out of it on the level of Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc! Prefferably, I think anyone could see that Uprising's scheme on the 3DS was more or less made for tps/shooter type action, so it's only logical to support the Wii remote and nunchuck. I guess I can't really argue much with those that are simply too used to a simple dual analog gamepad, either. I'm just honestly waiting fore more of a challenge where I can actually prove some real skill vs the average dual analog schemes being offered lately. That said, a little change is never a bad thing. Lastly, touchscreen....I think I could only see the need for it here for micro-management type things, if any?
Great....yet ANOTHER retailer dissappointment! COME ON NINTENDO!! The UK are getting booster packs from retailers wth are they in the USA?! We're so getting screwed over so bad.....
Wonder when these packs will start coming to the US....man theres still 2 cards I still don't have and have been trying to find a while now; Medusa, Queen of the Underworld, and Monster. 3 Sacred treasrues woulda been nice,, too.... Hope these don't end up excluded ebcause of their original promotions.
I have a dumb questionregarding 3DS to 3DS XL transfer, although I'm in the US because I've bene curious about this: My system only asks to transfer "from", not "between" systems, whether it's 3DS or DSi. Someone said this was already updated....so wherre's the US update? Or do both systems have to be connected 1st before they'll read "between"?
@Neram: I kinda wondered about that myself. Tried with Super Mario bros, and it turns out when the 2nd player is ready, the controls do nothing. And somehow i doubt the option for Download Play, because for games using the cart they have to initiate a sort of invite thing for which the system in download play searches for the software. other than that, I'm not sure, but would guess it works the same for downloaded titles as well.
@WaxxyOne: You're telling me they couldn't release an update for already existing Virtual Console games with multiplayer, like Radar Mission, yet they somehow managed to add this feature to an NES game, despite it being for Virtual Console on the 3DS, when those games never had wireless to begin with? Why would that be such a problem for them now?
Ah man....this feature needs to spread throughout ALL classic titles, and not just NES, but GameBoy, anything retro. I'd kill to have this option for Radar Mission.... Heck i bet this'd make even fans (that ever doubted the possibility )of all the classic Pokémon games happy,
This actually makes me quite happy. I'll most likely consider getting a 3DS XL when we get release info for its own CPP. Though 1 thing they should consider changing is the back panel that holds the 3Ds in pl,ay, maybe just make it a flip-up like the charging cradle has so it's easier to swap games while your 3DS is snug inside.
I'm only gonna say 1 thinf abouta CPP for 3DS XL; They need to remove that stupid back panel covering the game slot and charger port. The communication thing is fine, but is really no excuse to cover up the other 2, and it's not like it's going to stick out like a sore thumb while playing.since the ssytem has to be open/unfolded anyway. I honestly couldn't image what in the world they were thihnknig not doing this with the original, maybe makiing that cover a flip up like the cradle charger for the 3DS.
In some strange way, I kinda see this as rather bad timing with Wii U's release due by the holidays because just think types of Wii U versions of 3DS apps could be in mind, let alone the possible demand for them, minus the, 3D of course. I realize these platforms aren't competitors rather than than cooperating under the same roof; Nintendo. Sure the Wii U will offer much more diversity in terms of gameplay design, but has anyone ever stopped to think how it could affect the 3DS line itself? I mean, could the 3DS, let alone the 3DS XL, really take the heat while Wii U steals the spotlight? Assuming there's a possibility of similar changes, how many people would continue use of their 3DS/XL knowing you could play similar titles/apps on a larger device? Consider the similarities; Both have a stylus, similar button layout with the exception of dual analogs and triggers on the back, the Legend of Zelda demo demonstraing not just gameplay on the gamepad, but dual screen play with a map on the gamepad and action on TV.... I'm not necesserily saying the possibilities are definite or confirmed in any way, it's just something to consider.
@Arcamenel, the reason I complain here is simply because well, A I'm a lefty writer. B,a 3DS Xl would actually suit me quite nicely, as did the DSi XL if not for that facor. The bigger, the better handling in my opinion, more clearer. I honestly don't think providing a larger screen willmakesthe games blurry because if that were the case this would've already affected console users if they ever had to change TV sizes. So at the moment I'm rather in question as to whether or not I'm actually gonna get 1, and would like to wait and see if Nintendo will address the whole lefty CPP issue.
Ya know personally, after seeing Nintendo's Move with the Wii U GamePad, Nintendo could possibly learn something from this if they deicde to made sort like a 3DS 1/2, an example would be DSi/XL, or just completely skip that idea and make the next 1 the next gen handheld with dual analogs control support, and not simply to fade out the stylus. Not a "vital extra control method" if Nintendo ignores it? Quite obviously, the more games that make use of both the stylus and the Circle Pad, to people who write left handed, it is a vital control method, and they should accommodate this factor with a CPP XL, and with more support for it regardless of its predecessor's fate. Again, I'm not saying they should've implimented another Circle Pad simply for dual aanlog support because it's quite obvious that if the handheld model design by itself wasn't made/designed for it, that no other peripheral can change that and just magically add that support.
Kinda funny about the complaint over no AC adaptor included because that 1 comment up there stating how lots of people already owning a handheld kinda makes Nintendo look stupid for thinking about it like that. I mean, did they forget about the people who might NOT own a 3DS? Just cause half a population has 1 doesn't mean everyone interested does, too. Not that I live out there, I'm from the US, but come on, it's a no brainer.
Heh, no extra circle pad, what a surpise! Come on, guys, you hada see this coming if you follow Nintnedo's handheld pattern every time they had an updated version, especially where the DS line is concerned. Now my only problem with this XL model is 1 I hope we can maybe at least copy over what data we have, say computer copy files from the 2GB SD card to the 4GB SD (like if you copy the exact data via copy and paste) without it coming back and erroring rendering our DLC, saves, data, etc useless or messages like that. and 2, I hope Nintnedo's gonna be smart about this XL model and accommodate us with a Circle Pad Pro XL, and none of that GameStop Exclusive crap. What's up with that anyway? CPP was an official Nintendo product!
I could almost see 1 of these examples working for a Pokémon game if you didn't need colored AR cards. That way maybe different colors or shades of enviornments could have them show up looking in their natural habits.... Pokémon Snap 2 anyone? Or perhaps just an all out all new version where your finding, catching, battling is based around AR.
@Nibblet Plenty of people who aqppreciate a true classic like myself care for a Kid Icarus sequel. Sadly, I have to agree that SSB is just another waste. Seriously, how long will it be before we suddenly see Mario Kart bogging up a char frenzy like SSB, or thusly the same thing happpening with yet another Maio sports title, or Mario Party? What ever happened to Super Mario "Bros" for that matter? Either way because of such titles it appears to me as though they have a hard time balancing out which game deserves the next big hit to take the spotlight; They've got enough chars in the roster...Why waste it on watered down mediocre titles? Are they scared to take a chance and revamp old classics not even seeing the light and day?
Honestly, the whole 25 years thing sounds like a rather obvious inside joke. Still, denying us another sequel just doesn't seem right. As stated earlier, after all the videos i've seen of it, I still believe it has the potential Legend of Zelda (at least), Mario, etc has. That said, I see no reason for no sequel, or heck, a midquel(Seeings how we already have the prequel...Unless they were to puli an Ocarina of Time, or Skyward Sword for that matter if it's even legit, and somehow foretelling events leading up to it) or perhaps other side stories. Metroid seem to have no trouble puling this off.
UNACCEPTABLE! They've come too far to bring Kid Icarus up to Mario and Zelda's standards. There's simply no turning back and killing off the series now. I'm not saying I expect a sequel anytime soon with the series only having just been released, but PLEASE don't let this be the end of it! Gameplaywise, i'm not exactly sure how complex things are and the contral factor with the stylus myself, as I actually quite baffled when I was going through info videos about how everything was supposed to work, whether or not I'd find a comfortable control scheme. Even the idea of adding a small, handheld worthy MP side seemed a little off to me as if it doesn't really quite fit the series. Still, I feel we're all in our right minds for proper sequel, perhaps in the WIi U's future next time around. I mean just think what could be done here; If anyone has seen the early YouTube footage of the Wii U demonstrating upcomnig games, like NEW! Super Mario Bros Mii for example, if I'm understanding this correctly that it can be played with either Wii U draw tablet OR Wii's own current Wii remote and nunchuck controllers, just imagine what doors this could open for perhaps a combination of combined controls. Kid Icarus series still has the potential to be as every bit as epic (especially on console) as Mario, Zelda, Metroid,....you name it.
I've always imagined beingable to use the Ar cads in the same sense of yu-Gi_ohand all the big name TCGs Though now that Kid Icarus is back in action, (And I'm so totally psyched it's finally returned, I simply can't can't get enough and I'm dying for more!) I I'd love to see more of these cards as well. Although I think Ar may have a long way to go when talking about real interaction using the world around it via the cameras. it isn't bad idea at all, though; I'd love to be able to find way more interactions of AR in play with our own world, tons of possibilities and potential there. if it sells, works well in Nintendo and the devs' favors, keeps the audience interested, I'm all for it; More retail AR cards, more AR everything!
All I really want is to see more AR cards coming out soon in the US! I honestly didn't think it was that early enough that retailers were listed to be selling them only to check their sites and come up empty handed. After all, the title is Kid Icarus;"Uprising". Come on, Nintendo, please make it happen!
Well, now that the 3D Classics version of Kid Icarus is out, now all we need is the gameBoy Kid Icarus: of Myths and Monsters. Wish Nintendo would hurry up and make it happen already.
Ya know 1 thing that puzzles me upon seeing an unboxing of this thing on YouTube is how come they didn't think to maybe add a rechargable battery pack and maybe have sort of charging thing on it like the cradle has. However, I do like how the edges and corner areas look more rounded off. That should be a huge help because i'm always finding my left hand falling half asleep on me too easily, maybe 15-30 mins into playing.
ya know what makes me the most nervous about this is because I have the exact same problem with Metroid Prime: Hunters, whereas there are pre-programmed schemes there. As a lefty, I felt neither 1 was them was usable to me because they both felt completely awkward. That said whatever the "face" buttons are....without them in use, I dunno. I still feel this could somewhat awkward because knowing Nintendo, the same thing will happen here as well, with no way to set your own controls.

Re: You Fools, Blowing on NES Cartridges Is Not The Answer
Re: Don't Expect A Game To Celebrate Mega Man's 25th Birthday
Re: Voice of Mario Was Inspired by a Shakespearean Character
I don't really think the current voices match up the way they should, though. Whoever did the voice for Wario for the original GameBoy commercials (Super Mario Land 3, 4, etc) seemed to be just right for the type of character he is. Luigi? Meh, again I feel the voice from Super Mario Bros Super Show was more him than the current.
Re: Voice of Mario Was Inspired by a Shakespearean Character
Re: Rumour: Kid Icarus Planning a Wii U Uprising?
Re: Nintendo Power Magazine Looks Set to Shut Down
I wonder what'll happen to their catalogs they used to offer, if they still do, to subscribers once this goes away....This'll only make obtaining such valued goodies even harder to find! half the time i'm finding stuff on Club Nintendo I can't even afford (Not that half of it is even worth it imo, no offense), 1 because of $ and 2 half the time i don't really feel I'm even being offered enough to compell me and keep as much interest.
Re: Those Wii U Launch Details Might be Coming in September
I wonder if perhaps we might geta Nintendo Direct feed on this 1, because even though I've been hearing recently September 13 is when we'll get more info, the info above doesn't exactly clearly where/how we'll get more info.
Re: Nintendo Power Magazine Looks Set to Shut Down
Wow, another magazine bites the dust....presumedly in favor of digital formats.
Re: Feature: DS Games We Want on Wii U
Re: Kid Icarus: Uprising Series 2 AR Cards Flying Into the USA
Great....yet ANOTHER retailer dissappointment! COME ON NINTENDO!! The UK are getting booster packs from retailers wth are they in the USA?! We're so getting screwed over so bad.....
Re: Kid Icarus: Uprising Cards Out Now in UK
Wonder when these packs will start coming to the US....man theres still 2 cards I still don't have and have been trying to find a while now; Medusa, Queen of the Underworld, and Monster. 3 Sacred treasrues woulda been nice,, too.... Hope these don't end up excluded ebcause of their original promotions.
Re: How to Transfer Your Data from 3DS to 3DS XL
I have a dumb questionregarding 3DS to 3DS XL transfer, although I'm in the US because I've bene curious about this: My system only asks to transfer "from", not "between" systems, whether it's 3DS or DSi. Someone said this was already updated....so wherre's the US update? Or do both systems have to be connected 1st before they'll read "between"?
Re: Ice Climber Now Has Download Play Multiplayer in Japan
@Neram: I kinda wondered about that myself. Tried with Super Mario bros, and it turns out when the 2nd player is ready, the controls do nothing. And somehow i doubt the option for Download Play, because for games using the cart they have to initiate a sort of invite thing for which the system in download play searches for the software. other than that, I'm not sure, but would guess it works the same for downloaded titles as well.
Re: Ice Climber Now Has Download Play Multiplayer in Japan
@WaxxyOne: You're telling me they couldn't release an update for already existing Virtual Console games with multiplayer, like Radar Mission, yet they somehow managed to add this feature to an NES game, despite it being for Virtual Console on the 3DS, when those games never had wireless to begin with? Why would that be such a problem for them now?
Re: Ice Climber Now Has Download Play Multiplayer in Japan
Ah man....this feature needs to spread throughout ALL classic titles, and not just NES, but GameBoy, anything retro. I'd kill to have this option for Radar Mission.... Heck i bet this'd make even fans (that ever doubted the possibility )of all the classic Pokémon games happy,
Re: Letter Box Update Adds Coloured Ink
Updating now. I hope in the future we'll get the option to use multiple colors, not to replace Colors 3D or anything, though.
Re: 3DS XL Will Get Its Own Circle Pad Pro
EDIT: Sorry I have like 3 posts in 1...tried to delete the original 1 (if it's still showing for everyone), which is why my 2nd was reworded.
Re: 3DS XL Will Get Its Own Circle Pad Pro
This actually makes me quite happy. I'll most likely consider getting a 3DS XL when we get release info for its own CPP. Though 1 thing they should consider changing is the back panel that holds the 3Ds in pl,ay, maybe just make it a flip-up like the charging cradle has so it's easier to swap games while your 3DS is snug inside.
Re: 3DS XL Will Get Its Own Circle Pad Pro
I'm only gonna say 1 thinf abouta CPP for 3DS XL; They need to remove that stupid back panel covering the game slot and charger port. The communication thing is fine, but is really no excuse to cover up the other 2, and it's not like it's going to stick out like a sore thumb while playing.since the ssytem has to be open/unfolded anyway. I honestly couldn't image what in the world they were thihnknig not doing this with the original, maybe makiing that cover a flip up like the cradle charger for the 3DS.
Re: Talking Point: 3DS XL - Why Now?
Re: Talking Point: The Pros and Cons of 3DS XL
@Arcamenel, the reason I complain here is simply because well, A I'm a lefty writer. B,a 3DS Xl would actually suit me quite nicely, as did the DSi XL if not for that facor. The bigger, the better handling in my opinion, more clearer. I honestly don't think providing a larger screen willmakesthe games blurry because if that were the case this would've already affected console users if they ever had to change TV sizes. So at the moment I'm rather in question as to whether or not I'm actually gonna get 1, and would like to wait and see if Nintendo will address the whole lefty CPP issue.
Re: Talking Point: The Pros and Cons of 3DS XL
Re: Bigger Nintendo 3DS Console Revealed
Kinda funny about the complaint over no AC adaptor included because that 1 comment up there stating how lots of people already owning a handheld kinda makes Nintendo look stupid for thinking about it like that. I mean, did they forget about the people who might NOT own a 3DS? Just cause half a population has 1 doesn't mean everyone interested does, too. Not that I live out there, I'm from the US, but come on, it's a no brainer.
Re: Bigger Nintendo 3DS Console Revealed
Re: Colour-Based AR Patent is Hot Stuff
I could almost see 1 of these examples working for a Pokémon game if you didn't need colored AR cards. That way maybe different colors or shades of enviornments could have them show up looking in their natural habits.... Pokémon Snap 2 anyone? Or perhaps just an all out all new version where your finding, catching, battling is based around AR.
Re: Sakurai Won't Make a Kid Icarus: Uprising Sequel
Re: Sakurai Won't Make a Kid Icarus: Uprising Sequel
Re: Sakurai Won't Make a Kid Icarus: Uprising Sequel
Re: Talking Point: Could AR Games Drive eShop Sales?
Re: Kid Icarus: Uprising AR Battles Hit the Stage
All I really want is to see more AR cards coming out soon in the US! I honestly didn't think it was that early enough that retailers were listed to be selling them only to check their sites and come up empty handed. After all, the title is Kid Icarus;"Uprising". Come on, Nintendo, please make it happen!
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th April 2012 (North America)
Well, now that the 3D Classics version of Kid Icarus is out, now all we need is the gameBoy Kid Icarus: of Myths and Monsters. Wish Nintendo would hurry up and make it happen already.
Re: Review: 3DS Circle Pad Pro
Ya know 1 thing that puzzles me upon seeing an unboxing of this thing on YouTube is how come they didn't think to maybe add a rechargable battery pack and maybe have sort of charging thing on it like the cradle has. However, I do like how the edges and corner areas look more rounded off. That should be a huge help because i'm always finding my left hand falling half asleep on me too easily, maybe 15-30 mins into playing.
Re: Kid Icarus: Uprising Will Use the Circle Pad Pro
ya know what makes me the most nervous about this is because I have the exact same problem with Metroid Prime: Hunters, whereas there are pre-programmed schemes there.
