Actually, split screen would be great, too in the sense of 1 on TV, the other on GamePad, between just Mario and Luigi because it'd encourage dual type play ideas I've thought of. Basically you'd have link-up type attacks that just extend on what 1 player can't do alone; An example would be maybe 1 player gives he other a higher boost lift-off, or maybe if the flying-type items are done right 1 player flies and the other maybe is carried but can use a fire flower, etc, or maybe with the boomerang suit you toss 1, 2nd player tries to hop on top of it, rides it and gain,an item like fire flower or the snowy 1 would have you shooting in multiple directions. A crazy idea, I know, just trying to think outside the box, really.
I'll simply say this about about dual screen game play; I really don't want my 2nd screen/GamePad getting in the way of my TV, or honestly taking my eeys away from the TV for lots of the game. if games can manage ti keep the 2nd screen thing simple I'd be perfectly happy/acceptable with that. Not that there's anything really wrong with the idea or anything, but I've found that some of my games lately, Tetris Axis, Super Mario 3D Land,my eyes only have to be on the main screen at best. Honestly it's not really the best feeling when game play is happening on 2 screens at the same time, such as the sense in some of NintendoLand's mini games, and you just feel like you're missing out on experiencing the important content.
I honestly have to say that despite feeling like a 2nd Mario 64, the galaxy series has actually been quite the challenge at times; Just take the comet courses or both finding and acquiring the green stars from Galaxy 2. and yeah, have to say 2 that Galaxy rather felt like a tired rehash from the 1st, and Yoshi was a bit difficult for me to work with at times. As far as the "New" series goes, can't really say i'ma huge fan, it just gets boring too easily. 3D land I'm still working on, late start. it's actually kind of hard to judge this 1 because it's not really bad, but not all the best, either, though i'm sure 3D World should ease the controls for me, not that there's anything wrong on the 3DS, just slightly hard to handle on handheld, that's all. All that said, I don't think the next should be named galaxy 3, but could take some concepts from it expanding on that. I also don't think new or continuation and slapping 3D makes a lot of sense when you consider that same 3D that makes the 3DS special doesn't exist on the WIi U. What I'd really like to see is maybe a whole new game that's maybe a blend/compilation of everything that's ever been done on a core, platformer Mario game, items and all, plus concepts that haven't been done yet. I could see Mario Universe as a suitable title, and I do also have to agree it'd be nice to having a much more open world again like Super Mario 64, just - all the guessing where to find the corresponding course star(s),maybe have all areas of a course accessible but harder to access depending on where you start. The last and only other thought I have is as I keep hoping for maybe shift the overall series over to being like it originally was, Super Mario Bros, but in a 66/Galaxy (maybe even 3D Land/World) kinda way with some brand new twists/concepts, similarly to being able to play with more than 1 person on the same screen like 3D World will do; It's high time Mario start sharing the lime light with his brother, Luigi again, and I don't mean in the same sense as mediocre 3DS titles, I mean true, core 3D Mario platformers. At least give us more incentive to want to play same screen multiplayer with them.
@jedisquidward: How do you figure not really? MEga Man is a side scrolling game, not a fighting/battle system type game. As I said, it really doesn't fit the TCG genre or boardgames for that matter. Think about it. MEga Man is the only 1 able to use other enemies weapons (except for Zero if you count the X series), but they can't use his. How exactly is this suitable for a TCG or board game?
@KongFu: yes, I realize it's cell shading. Still, I like things to look clearer than this, as appearing from the launch trailer itself. I certainly couldn't understand why they'd want it to look this way; If they can make Super Mario 3D Land look the way it looks on a console, just as Super Mario 3D World matches its look on Wii U respectively, I don't see why not the chars for even this version of Super Smash Bros. Just saying.
OMFG YES AND MORE YES!!!!! Dave & Buster's has Battle Royale and finally, not just WIi U and 3DS, current gen (XBox 360 and PS3) consoles as well!! This HAS to come out in the states!
Hmm...not sure if serious or trolling..... For instance, glitch on level sect? it's the start of the game. Next, who says a bee needs fingers for a gun? How about its stinger? Use your imagination. Then again with the glitches..... How can this guy seriously not've played this, just to make some newb reading material/puns or whatever? I'd rather read some legit Miiverse posts and compare them. I'm sure even the people trying/playing the recently released eShop Wii U Virtual Console Mega Man (or Wii Virtual Console for that matter) games can't be this naive.
OK, someone's gonna have to explain this 1 to me...What's the point of there even being a 3DS version if the cross-play can't be worked into this? Just to transfer characters/customizations or version exclusive chars? This is what DLC is for. Super Smash bros has always been on consoles. I mean, it's not entirely like I figured this would work, but rather I was expected to be blown away if the option had been revealed and explained.
I have a thought/idea here. if they want to explore it some more, how about, I dunno, say perhaps Metroid: Origins? For instance, maybe we could experience events dating back to the raid on Samus' home world, her training among the Chozo, perhaps beyond that with the academy (or whatever it was, I forgot) etc. Perhaps there' something there involving the Space Pirates we've never known before, before the Metroids. other than that, all I can really say is I'd like to know the possibilities, plot-wise of a Fusion sequel.
I can honestly say I've done maybe 2 or 3 of those things above, maybe slightly more, like where the ground breaks beneath and you've got those walls with the gates but seems like no way out. But yeah it's, no secret no surprise that because out video games today throw in in-game basics tutorials that kids brought in these generations clearly aren't accustomed to our older games that didn't have them. Hell, to be pefectly honest I ahrdly ever had to pick up a manual back then, just came naturally to me, even for my 1st video game(s) back on Atari 2600, which had to be Pole Position, Freeway, and Ms Pac-Man I think.
No surprise that Super Smash Bros will be talked about, which i honestly wouldn't say is household "standard" at all; last i heard it might be cross-play like Wii U and 3DS, but then again that could very easily be a rumor. 3D Mario i'm definitely looking foward to, but I'm really hoping maybe we'll get an innovative swing on Mario "Bros" maybe because it just hasn't been Mario bros in forever with the exception of the side-scrollers. otherwise I'm just not sure how pumped I'll be, though not that I pass up something like this. Lastly, All this talk about Super Smash bros, or wanting 3D Mario or Zelda.....you guys disappoint me; What about a new Metroid, perhaps a Fusion sequel if that's even possible??
Hmm, I'm not sure I ever figured out how tow all jumkp, but i recall the 3 little creatures and what ticked me off is I ended up having to time bombs to get up that stupid shaft or where ever it was. the bird I don't really remember...I'd have to see videos of them both to be sure. But yeah, again, i stayed stuck in that leaf foliage part for like weeks and hadn't touched the game for maybe 2-3 months, maybe more, until deciding to just restart it. Also, I don't think kids calling Samus Metroid is very uncommon, I'm sure wee all did it back then. Heck, there are still tons of them today calling Link Zelda!
Heh...irony here is that games today mostly telll you in-game basics. Heck even the manual now, in Nintendo'[s case anyway,is moved onto the cartridge I'll be honest though, this game does take a lot of figuring out. There's areas I haven't even touched just for trying to find weapons or energy upgrade/addition or whatever it was mainly because I have no idea how to get there because the placements just don't make any sense.. Then of course there's that glow energy restore thing or something and I think a sort of air dash, I still have no idea completely how either of those work, but they show it in like either 2nd or 3rd demo screen after the title. (it just takes a long time to wait and see it) The only other thing I can think of is how for a time I've stayed stuck in that 1 places with the leaves or whatever because I either couldn't get to 1 of the doors or was missing a weapon, I forget, until I reset, restarted, and don't even remember how I even got passed it. The lava area and underwater areas are confusing as hell, too. But these days, guides just don't do it anymore; If i'm ever really stuck I check around for videos instead, it's just easier to see it done right or how hard it is and that sort.
@Fusion14 No duh they're calling it "form" WHAT DIFFERENCE does it make?? You keep saying "it's been confirmed" NO IT HASN'T! NO SITE has come out solid evidencve and said ":it's not an evolution". They all say what this article says, which is in NO WAY confirmation or denial. Heck I'll do ya 1 better; WHY was that video leaked then if this ISN'T an evolution, hmm? Use your head.
Once again, "form" means nothing as it's no different than stage; Hence nothing here or there confirms, nor denies for that matter, that it COULD be an evolution. Again, just because it hasn't happened in the apst 5 generations means nothing. 1st time for everything ya know. You have mnre evidence, yeah right! THEN WHY AREN'T YOU PROVIDING ANY? Becauase clearly you DON'T know any more than the rest of us.
@Fusion14: Then why does the 2nd sentence of the 2nd section specifically say "The pull-out movie poster within the magazine explains that "Mewtwo has awakened and has taken on this new shape.""? See? I DO know how to read. "New form" means nothing as it doesn't specify them from being much different from stages. Besides, nobody knows for a fact that legendaries don't evolve.
Something about this new form bugs me a little bit; For instance, they claim it's a new form, yet Mewtwo can cloned from a Mew Fossil, so how exactly would he be able to properly evolve to this new form? That said, Mew itself has never had an actual evolution stage, just its basic form which assumingly could be considered baby stage. Wouldn't/couldn't this rather open the possibilities for a new stage we've never seen before?
Just a heads up, not sure exactly how many they have available, but if anyone is considering getting 1 insetad of waiting months and months, my suggestion would be to check Amazon as they aren't very expensive; Mind you you'll most likely ponly find the import version, but it DOES work with either JP or US system. Trust me on this as I now own 1 myself after waiting and guessing, so I can even confirm right on the flat area that the DS XL would sit init reads Nintendo3DS XL/Nintendo3DS LL indicating it's designed for both.
Ah man i remember how difficult Duck tales was back in the day. Always loved Darkwing Duck, though, but never really played the game, I would love to play that 1 remastered, possibly Chip n Dale. Think they forgot about tale Spin, though; I'd welcome any of the NESas remasters. What about Disney's Adventures in the Magic Kingdom?
@russellohh: Babbages is no more to my knowledge, did a merger/acquisition with/by GameStop. Sorta the same thing that happened with EB Games (Electronics Boutique). But yeah, those old games een if they were retailer wouldn't sell at full price anymore, they'd end up at used prices, so I have to disagree that a retail version of a remaster/remake would sell.
They totally need to make remastered versions from all the NES Disney releases after Duck Tales; Chip n Dale, Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck. Heck I'd probably even go for a remastered version of Adventures in the Magic Kingdom.
Honestly i don't think ic an argue that the mega buster was all that bad for this series considering some of the enemies and their attack patterns that usually take several hits til they're done, excluding sub bosses. The main thing I always did was charge up and run with it so it wouldn't slow down the game. Ya just gotta know how to use it. But here, how's this for a challenge... Ya ever go through any of these games, no robot master pattern in particular and face em without a robot master weapon equipped? That's what i used to through my 1st tries and then wait until ya face em again the 2nd time ebfore Wiley to see who's weapon does what; Some of my fondest memories through this series back in the day. It's amazing some of these games you come back to and find it feels harder than when you 1st experienced it. Still by far 1 of my most favorites, though. #4 topped it for me just slightly.
YES!! 3 was easily my most favorite despite how long it took to beat with the addition of fighting Gamma controlling 8 additional bosses from old. That part of it was amazing. 4 wasn't actually that far off, either, 5 was good, and 6 was a little odd with Rush's new abilities. I can't wait til these hit eShop!
I remember when i 1st saw the Famicom NES back in thed ay in Toys R US.....Wanted it but never got 1. I even remember the Super Famicon SNES (US versions of both)
I bet I have a rather minor complaint nobody thought about; Why is there no place to put a wristband strap on it like the Wii remote has, left or right side somewhere on the GamePad? Sure you hold the thing with both hands, but assuming the games using motion control with the GamePad granted it's already a hefty conroller, ya never know. Just saying.
I coulda swore i remember sliding in this 1, unls that was introduced in 3, and it didn't work. Oher than that I really don't see much any other difference.
Holy crap i remember seeing that arcade once! Man, never played it so IO don't recall if it worked like that 1 NHL Blitz did where you could take your memory card with ya and upload what you're using. probably no need for it in this case, though, I guess.
@StarDust Other than it being small, which kinda wasn't a huge problem for me, the only other thing that bugged me was how the backlight appeared to show off gamma light or whatever the whitish light was when you need it in dark areas.
Interesting...never saw this 1 before. Though I do still have my original gameBoyAdvance Sp, as well as the NES edition 1, too. Both still in very good condition.
Oh boy....hacking. here we go again. Here's my opinion on this homebrew garbage; If you're dissatisfied with the product or can't accept something that's being offered, dont buy it, don't mess with it and try and make it your own product. Simple as that. How would you feel if you were in their shoes and someone started altering something of yours already gaining success? That's pretty much what it boils down to, regardless of piracy. Majorities say consoles and handhelds aren't PCs so if that's their so biased opinion of gaming then quit treating them like 1 with this homebrew nonsense; Do whatever you will on PC and leave the console/handheld market alone.
Meh...I've seen more epic Zelda vidsos than this.....like potsmasher for 1, or the old April fool's movie trailer Besides, i'm ealy not much a fan of Apple products anyway. Just saying.
Boo, the US never got a GameBoy Light, only Pocket Although I must say gameBoy Color somewhat maks up for it in the sun if you face the screen so the suin hits it so its reflection off the pixels really brings out the colors.
I just took their survey. At this point, I can honestly say the only franchise I ever cared about from them was MegaMan (Just not alter reality/non true cannon garbage like BattleNetworks/StarForce and well, honestly didn't care for Legends, no offense), and I really wouldn't mind buying straight port or HDs, or espeically even extentions like in new gameplay or whatever of the classics including the X series. The irony, however, is that when asked how much I'd pay, I only put $10, mainly cause I'd rather see them in new forms for retail maybe.... Just not for $10 as retail, though.
Any other games I never knew enough to care about, I got so sick of failing the same 2nd area of ghost n Goblins over and over that i finally just said scr** that. Street Fighter had already annoyed me far enough back with the constant seqeuls, old tired gameplay and graphics, including vs this and that; Not to mention that little stunt Street Fighter x MegaMan they pulled, nothing but fanmade and too hard. I really wanted to like it, but Capcom's heart and effort just wasn't there.
Other than that, they've already managed to crush my dreams 3 times now with their cancellations; MegaMan Universe, which had some real potential and 1 really sweet trailer, (Couldn't've imagined it any better myself) Online (which seems like it was merely left in the dark/trash to rot as opposed to cancelled) which had a really good trailer except for being anime only, 1st gameplay footage was kinda iffy; Good graphics, bit slow on gameplay. Lastly, XOver, which honestly if brought over to Android i probably would've given a try if not for the gameplay showing auto-running with practically no movement potential whatsoever.
What more disappointment could they possibly deliver? Honestly I really don't feel as though they're confident enough they can breathe new life or the true potential into the MegaMan franchise it deserves and until the day they show us they really care, I'm just not sure what confidence I even have left for for it anymore for what it's worth. ya hear that Capcom?! Congratulations, YOU KILLED my inner MegaMan! His fate rests forever burned onto your conscious now.
I could actually see this idea working as long as they have supporting going both ways; Wii U Games with 3DS support, and 3DS games with Wii U support. However, the only other thng wrong here is that Nintendo Network IDs need to be unified 1st across platforms the way PlayStation Network and XBox Live actts work and then recognized by both systems to be used together. As for games, heck I'd love to see a new Pac-Man Vs as its own game in style of the Pac-man Championship Edition games. Even the Pac-Man Battle Royale cabinet I've seen at Dave & Buster's even seems pretty sweet....Wonder why they never made a digital purchase DL for it.
there's already a TON of things wrong with Capcom's seemingingly endless excuses, not to mention the sorry results brought in, not due to the concepts for the MegaMan franchise that should be making it more fun. For instance, everyone realizes MegaMan got his start on the NES, but Street Fighter really started on SNES, the fighting game everyone knows and loves. Capcom, you have at least TWO candidates that could more than make up for this and have the game look and play a lot better on you behalf; MegaMan 7 on SNES and MegaMan 8 on PlayStation. Is this really the example you wish to continue, feeding all the letdown diehard MegaMan fans for yet ANOTHER year's worth of half-***ed experiences because you are clearly showing you simply don't have the $ to invest in what USED to be considered your most iconic franchise?? That said, free and PC only......if you expect us letdown fans to take you seriously and PROVE to us that you haven't killed off your iconic franchise for good, then why not put your $ where your mouth is, DELAY it for CONSOLE release, (Or at the very least release your PC version, but INVEST on console releases. PLENTY who see this as a fun game wiould pay for it and the $ could help rebuild/reknown the self-damaged respect into your franchise. No (more) excuses, don't tell the fans what will interest them and what won't and when......We can decide for ourselves.) that way your planned celebreation for next year can continue, and what tons of fans see as such an epic game can merely build up that much more hype and excitement for once IF a better, updated version were to result in the process? Sorry, but even THIS game imo simply cannot make up for the cancellation of Legends 3 (while I'm not particular a fan of Legends, but speaking on/in behalf of every letdown fan) AND Universe!
I'm actually rather confused as to just exactly how there can be 9-axis because figure this; A cube only has 6 sides. Now put a sphere inside that or the cube inside a sphere and really, the axis' or angles or whatever still really can't expand much further beyond that.... I dunno maybe that's just what exactly I'm failing to comprehend that the new tech, a geomagnetic sensor could add or expand upon. Although this definitely sounds similar to an update I read about this HMD (head-mounted display) started on KickStarter and still being developed called Oculus Rift, whereas the claim is they're adding their own magnetometer (yet another piece I'm still notmuch familiar with at all) "which opens new doors in terms of sensor data and head-tracking".
I would definitely have to agree, though, is that new controllers supporting it would have to be made. Though as far as accuracy and response time goes, i've always felt this setback was on the sensor bar itself vs Sony's PlayStation Eye because well, maybe it's just me, but isn't infrared (becoming) rather dated? Besides, wouldn't you rather a device with the clearest/most accurate perception possible?
@SMW: Yeah, it actually reminds me of this group from quite a few years back from this site that doesn't even exist anymore, smashourstuff.com. They had people donate $ just so they could get crap to smash an XBox 360, a PlayStation 3, an iPod, in front of people launch day, no less. I'm really not sure just what kinda message theyw ere trying to send, if any. But none the less attention mostly, i suppose, maybe just to rip people off and go buy 1 themselves they actually intend on using, anyway.
Yeah, all I'm saying is if they're going to do these phony tests at least do it right and with more proving evidence as opposed to just taking the thing, letting go, and assuming it's fine just because the casing wasn't broke and you can push a few buttons....it doesn't really mean much of anything.
Still plenty other ways to drop the gamepad and break it cause I didn't see the actual screen touch anything. Plus he never even bothered to test it out all the buttons in front of the ACTUAL Wii U. (not the Wii U GamePad, buddy) So yeah....I'm calling bs on this 1 until I see some legit proof because anybody can just freedrop these things like that and expect it not to break as opposed to an actual accidental drop.
Well, this cheap new version isn't gonna sell at all without any online functionality. What about the titles that support this feature? Getting rather desparate here aren't, we Nintendo? Come on now.... Sorry, but Wii Mini has unmedicated disaster written all over it.

Re: Special Luigi 3DS XL System Coming To Japan
@DerpSandwich: You took the words right outta my mouth.
Re: CoroCoro Confirms New Mewtwo Form
@Fusion14 No duh they're calling it "form" WHAT DIFFERENCE does it make?? You keep saying "it's been confirmed" NO IT HASN'T! NO SITE has come out solid evidencve and said ":it's not an evolution". They all say what this article says, which is in NO WAY confirmation or denial. Heck I'll do ya 1 better; WHY was that video leaked then if this ISN'T an evolution, hmm? Use your head.
Re: CoroCoro Confirms New Mewtwo Form
Once again, "form" means nothing as it's no different than stage; Hence nothing here or there confirms, nor denies for that matter, that it COULD be an evolution. Again, just because it hasn't happened in the apst 5 generations means nothing. 1st time for everything ya know. You have mnre evidence, yeah right! THEN WHY AREN'T YOU PROVIDING ANY? Becauase clearly you DON'T know any more than the rest of us.
Re: CoroCoro Confirms New Mewtwo Form
@Fusion Serebii? Don't you mean Celebi*, because that's all I'm getting off Google whenever I search it, and in any case what does this have to do with that video? Yeah it's a legenaries, but still..... Because if that wasn't an evolution these days, at least in the Pokémon movies, then I dunno what nis.
Re: CoroCoro Confirms New Mewtwo Form
1 more thing I thought I'd share (not intended as spam): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHNMYjfivY8&feature=em-uploademail-ot
So legendaries don't evolve, aye?
Re: CoroCoro Confirms New Mewtwo Form
@Fusion14: I'm not being a noob as I've told you "new form" doesn't mean or prove squat! Every pokémon hasa "form" or sorts so to speak; Raichu=Evolved 'form' of Pikachu', Venusaur=Evolved 'form' of Ivysaur=Evovled 'form' of Bulbasaur, etc etc. So what if I called Mew a pre-evo? Yes, we know Mewtwo is a clone, but that has nothing to do with anything. Again, it's never ONCE been proven legendaries can't evolve; Just because it hasn't happened in the past doesn't mean the possibility doesn't exist. Quit being so close minded.
Re: CoroCoro Confirms New Mewtwo Form
@Fusion14: Then why does the 2nd sentence of the 2nd section specifically say "The pull-out movie poster within the magazine explains that "Mewtwo has awakened and has taken on this new shape.""? See? I DO know how to read. "New form" means nothing as it doesn't specify them from being much different from stages. Besides, nobody knows for a fact that legendaries don't evolve.
Re: CoroCoro Confirms New Mewtwo Form
Something about this new form bugs me a little bit; For instance, they claim it's a new form, yet Mewtwo can cloned from a Mew Fossil, so how exactly would he be able to properly evolve to this new form? That said, Mew itself has never had an actual evolution stage, just its basic form which assumingly could be considered baby stage. Wouldn't/couldn't this rather open the possibilities for a new stage we've never seen before?
Re: Hardware Review: 3DS Circle Pad Pro XL
Just a heads up, not sure exactly how many they have available, but if anyone is considering getting 1 insetad of waiting months and months, my suggestion would be to check Amazon as they aren't very expensive; Mind you you'll most likely ponly find the import version, but it DOES work with either JP or US system. Trust me on this as I now own 1 myself after waiting and guessing, so I can even confirm right on the flat area that the DS XL would sit init reads Nintendo3DS XL/Nintendo3DS LL indicating it's designed for both.
Re: More Capcom-Disney Games Could Be Remade if Duck Tales is Successful
Ah man i remember how difficult Duck tales was back in the day. Always loved Darkwing Duck, though, but never really played the game, I would love to play that 1 remastered, possibly Chip n Dale. Think they forgot about tale Spin, though; I'd welcome any of the NESas remasters. What about Disney's Adventures in the Magic Kingdom?
Re: Capcom Would Love To Work With WayForward Again
@russellohh: Babbages is no more to my knowledge, did a merger/acquisition with/by GameStop. Sorta the same thing that happened with EB Games (Electronics Boutique). But yeah, those old games een if they were retailer wouldn't sell at full price anymore, they'd end up at used prices, so I have to disagree that a retail version of a remaster/remake would sell.
Re: Capcom Would Love To Work With WayForward Again
They totally need to make remastered versions from all the NES Disney releases after Duck Tales; Chip n Dale, Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck. Heck I'd probably even go for a remastered version of Adventures in the Magic Kingdom.
Re: Review: Mega Man 3 (3DS eShop / NES)
Re: Mega Man 3 Hitting 3DS Virtual Console Next Week
Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo AV Famicom
I remember when i 1st saw the Famicom NES back in thed ay in Toys R US.....Wanted it but never got 1. I even remember the Super Famicon SNES (US versions of both)
Re: Feature: Nintendo Battle - Donkey Kong: Tabletop vs. Game & Watch
OMG, I remember that mini DK arcade in Gremlins, when a couple of the Mogwai were playing with 1.
Re: Wii U Should Do As Well As The Wii, Says Developer
I bet I have a rather minor complaint nobody thought about; Why is there no place to put a wristband strap on it like the Wii remote has, left or right side somewhere on the GamePad? Sure you hold the thing with both hands, but assuming the games using motion control with the GamePad granted it's already a hefty conroller, ya never know. Just saying.
Re: Review: Mega Man 2 (3DS eShop / NES)
I coulda swore i remember sliding in this 1, unls that was introduced in 3, and it didn't work. Oher than that I really don't see much any other difference.
Re: Here's What The Next Mario Kart Looks Like
Holy crap i remember seeing that arcade once! Man, never played it so IO don't recall if it worked like that 1 NHL Blitz did where you could take your memory card with ya and upload what you're using. probably no need for it in this case, though, I guess.
Re: Hardware Classics: The Legend Of Zelda Game Boy Advance SP
@StarDust Other than it being small, which kinda wasn't a huge problem for me, the only other thing that bugged me was how the backlight appeared to show off gamma light or whatever the whitish light was when you need it in dark areas.
Re: Hardware Classics: The Legend Of Zelda Game Boy Advance SP
Interesting...never saw this 1 before. Though I do still have my original gameBoyAdvance Sp, as well as the NES edition 1, too. Both still in very good condition.
Re: Feature: Pokémon X & Y - What We Know So Far
Somehow, I don't really trust the kidea of RealPlay being any fun at all if all they're going to do is drop friends or people met online into your game world. Why not just allow SpotPass tunctionality maybe attempt to connect to a limited number of people in the area of the game you're in, real-time per say, that way you really can communicate with them and battle at least? (whereas trading would obviously be done at a PokéCenter) Other than that, yet again disappointed with no cosole version which by now with Wii U could easily benefit people the same way it does handhelds, maybe offer more or better overall experience.
Re: Main Pokémon RPG Series Continues to Prioritise Portable Gaming
I kinda have to agree with @MickeyTheGreat: on having a core console experience for a couple reasons. For 1 you can tell already via hardware design and gameplay that hey're basically created an expanded DS experience. 2nd reason is kinda MMOish, but my main problem being that how often do you actually get to meet and talk to someone in-game or for battles, trading or whatever? it's always been either from a PokéCenter computer, battle tower, etc. NPCs are nice, but since you have to walk around anyway why can't we meet and interact with actual trainers in that same sense? It'd have to 1st tell people where you are, and then maybe a limit on how many people it can connect to. I dunno, could SpotPass really solve that sort of thing? StreetPass in this sense could be similar with nearby trainers; The idea of having to enter some virtual space from in-game 1st, especially with how it's been done in the past limited to an amount of collected data 1st, is a rather dumbed down and inconvenient concept if you ask me.
Re: Renegade Kid Worried About 3DS Piracy
Re: Game Freak: The Pokémon World Will Be Evolving In 2013
Pokémon MMO please! There's becoming way too many for handhelds and plus you have to consider some of us who might not know many people to trade with. Heck, if they make an MMo why not take a page outta the cartoon and see what different jobs and stuff we can do as opposed to merely battling and apply controls according to role? other than that, the only other thing I can say i'd like to see, and this is for all of Nintendo's best selling franchises, is gives us some textures in both environment and characters, Pokémon included. Nothing wrong with imaging them slightly more realistic.
Re: This Zelda Video is Truly Epic
Meh...I've seen more epic Zelda vidsos than this.....like potsmasher for 1, or the old April fool's movie trailer Besides, i'm ealy not much a fan of Apple products anyway. Just saying.
Re: Hardware Classics: Tezuka Osamu World Shop Game Boy Light
Boo, the US never got a GameBoy Light, only Pocket Although I must say gameBoy Color somewhat maks up for it in the sun if you face the screen so the suin hits it so its reflection off the pixels really brings out the colors.
Re: Capcom Wants Your Help For Future Digital Releases
Re: Miyamoto Wants To Return To Unrealised GameCube-GBA Link Ideas With Wii U
Re: Street Fighter X Mega Man Is "A Bit Of A Mea Culpa"
there's already a TON of things wrong with Capcom's seemingingly endless excuses, not to mention the sorry results brought in, not due to the concepts for the MegaMan franchise that should be making it more fun.
Re: Wii U GamePad Offers Nine-Axis Controls
Re: Want To Know What It's Like To Drop Your Wii U GamePad?
@SMW: Yeah, it actually reminds me of this group from quite a few years back from this site that doesn't even exist anymore, smashourstuff.com. They had people donate $ just so they could get crap to smash an XBox 360, a PlayStation 3, an iPod, in front of people launch day, no less. I'm really not sure just what kinda message theyw ere trying to send, if any. But none the less attention mostly, i suppose, maybe just to rip people off and go buy 1 themselves they actually intend on using, anyway.
Re: Want To Know What It's Like To Drop Your Wii U GamePad?
Yeah, all I'm saying is if they're going to do these phony tests at least do it right and with more proving evidence as opposed to just taking the thing, letting go, and assuming it's fine just because the casing wasn't broke and you can push a few buttons....it doesn't really mean much of anything.
Re: Want To Know What It's Like To Drop Your Wii U GamePad?
Still plenty other ways to drop the gamepad and break it cause I didn't see the actual screen touch anything. Plus he never even bothered to test it out all the buttons in front of the ACTUAL Wii U. (not the Wii U GamePad, buddy) So yeah....I'm calling bs on this 1 until I see some legit proof because anybody can just freedrop these things like that and expect it not to break as opposed to an actual accidental drop.
Re: Wii Mini Is Official And Has No Online Connectivity
Well, this cheap new version isn't gonna sell at all without any online functionality. What about the titles that support this feature? Getting rather desparate here aren't, we Nintendo? Come on now.... Sorry, but Wii Mini has unmedicated disaster written all over it.
