The first game wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed it a lot. It's a great game to sit on the couch and play while watching TV in the background, or quick games as a passenger in a car. Plus, as an old NBA Jam fan, playing this with my brother and cousins hit nostalgia big time for me.
I think we need more arcade sports games and fewer "simulations." I feel like games like Madden, NBA2K, WWE2K, etc., all focus so much on being perfected simulations that they get bloated and forget the most important aspect of a video game: fun.
Give me a new NFL Street, Mario Super Strikers, Mario Super Sluggers and yes, more Playgrounds.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I really want Pokemon Switch to be a Gen 1-3 remake, taking place through Kanto, Johnto and Hoenn with all of the Pokemon in those locations.
My ideal game would have that, in the future, where the trainer from the original (Red/Blue) is a young scientist, taking the Prof. Oak role. Add a few new gameplay features, more open world aspects and obviously improved mechanics and online features.
@justin233 I've bought a number of games pre-ordered through them and gotten the 20% discount. They usually keep the retail price up until a week or two before release, when they change it. The problem I've had is that I haven't gotten the games on release day. Bayonetta and Mario Odyssey took until the following Monday to arrive, but only cost me $48. Just keep your eye on it and you should see it drop.
(In case it matters, I'm in the US, and don't know if it is different in the UK)
The first Gamer is a lot of fun (even for us adults) and great for quicker games. I can't tell you how many times we played during the holidays. This one looks like it could be just as much fun.
I fully understand 1-2-Switch being on the list, because, with it being a glorified tech demo, it is the only game to really show off all of the impressive capabilities of the system. And with the right group of people, it can be fun. That being said, it is just a tech demo, so should automatically be at #50.
Quick takeaways: Axiom Verge should be a little higher Steamworld Dig 2 should be higher Steamworld Heist should be on the list Puyo Puyo Tetris should be lower Golf Story definitely deserves the love Surprised Owlboy is so low Surprised ARMS is so high, given the backlash (though I like the game) Surprised Bomberman is as high as it is

But that's just my opinion.

While I'm not saying will be amazing, I think it will be a pleasant surprise and an incredible value for those of us getting it for free.
