Few corrections to your post: Minecraft has also stuff like zombies, skeletons but Cube Life doesn't. Minecraft doesn't have a giant spider, there is no storyline, there is no Skin editor, no visuals like realistic water, dynamic skies, ragdoll physics... to name few.

If Cube Life is a clone/rippoff so is Minecraft. Why?

Infiniminer heavily influenced the style of gameplay, the "blocky" visual style and the block-building fundamentals of Minecraft.

@Tisteg80 We apologize for delayed Update for Europe. We finished both updates at the same time, unfortunately, EU Nintendo was too busy and postponed its release to January 7th. It could be released in America, not in EU, and we are not happy about it.... but it was not in our hands.
*** Secondly, There is a survival mode mixed with Coop and we call it the Tower Defense mode. You have to cooperate there ( this is not Deathmatch mode), you can enable animals and cannibals to join the party, etc etc.... we are sure you and your wife will enjoy this!

There is a local multiplayer coming with Update v1.1. It is designed for 2 players, player #1 with GamePad, player #2 with Wii U Pro Controller or Wii Classic Controller Pro + TV

Online multiplayer, sharings maps are planned for later Updates in 2016

@tryxx-77 We wanted to be a different block building game than Minecraft. So we haven't implement items like doors, swords... This happens very often that people ask for items and features they know from Minecraft. It is a dilemma, people want us to become more and more like minecraft

But we do not care about those who call us "just a Minecraft clone". We do care more of players who are very kind and ask for something.. so... the answer is Yes, we will include doors!

On the others side, some players have different taste, so the third Mode with low difficulty would be a good idea for beginners. But Survival Mode will stays the only mode to challenge players, with Internet Rankings

@Wolfman_Jack Yes, these can be easily addressed, and it is fixed already. Invert Y-axis is our fault... We did not realized many players prefer inverted Y, sooo soooorry!

@andrea987 You are right! Thanks to you, players, we discovered a crash and a fix will be implemented in the first Update + local multiplayer + more items + pet + 3rd person view and more

Regarding the third game mode. Last week we created a testing mode "Infinity Mode", where you have infinity generated world with no enemies, just crafting and mining, etc. but it feels boring after an hour... then we added a shopping cart but it doesn't help much...

Maybe you could share more details about your idea and help us to make it more attractive?

You can build a shelter on Coconut trees, and craft, get coconuts for water supply, craft and do other preparations during night

@thevikingking Eletricity and other extra features are planned for later stage. There will be a local multiplayer and bug fixes included in the first Update v1.1

And yes, the price will be raised when updates are available. But, they will be free for all who purchased game at launch promo price.

2) we have just optimized that and loading time takes 30% faster!
3) Maybe you are right, but remember, this is a survival game on tropical island. Coconuts are the best source of water supply. Not mangos
4) there will be a "enable/disable reflections" button which adds 20% to FPS
