I’ve played it for about 12 hours and honestly I’m having a blast with it. I think the base building part has been what’s really pulled me in and the fact that each pal has a different skill they help with around the base adds to the depth of what you can accomplish. Yea there are some parts that don’t make much sense (like hacking at a pal with your axe like a tree in fortnite to lower its health to catch it) but overall it’s been fun to explore the map and find cool things like treasure chests and hidden stuff. I think another game people don’t say it takes inspiration from is Zelda BOTW/TOTK with the gliding, stamina bar for climbing and battle mechanics. But anyway, it’s a fun romp around a new place with familiar mechanics that are fun and work well together. End of rant
@MSaturn you beat me to it. That was by far my favorite reference. I loved that show as a kid! I showed my wife the opening after the movie because she had no clue that show existed
Took the survey. Can I make a suggestion? One thing that I feel would make the user experience a bit better on this site and the others like Push Square is when there’s a new game and you write Guides for all of the different things in the game, is there a way to put them all under one article rather than having all of the guides flooding the News? Like when Pokémon came out, it felt like the whole News section was nothing but guides
As someone who collects I don’t understand how people can look down so hard on someone who collects. You don’t want to collect? Fine. Don’t. But saying that it’s pointless, stupid, etc. only belittles the people you’re talking about. Everyone has passions, hobbies or loves, so why tear them down for what they love? Maybe he looks at it more as game history preservation or an investment. Who knows, but if someone pointed out something that you love and mocks you for it, how would you feel? Just food for thought
I own every game Atlus has published in North America. It took a while to hunt some of the rare ones down, but it was an awesome moment when I got the last piece in the mail. I also added pics of the other stuff in the link but the first several pics are just Atlus
@Pawsebutton it’s insane how much that one has gone up. I got mine when it was about $100. I remember seeing it on the shelf of an Electronic Boutique (now GameStop) when I was a kid and remember thinking how silly it looked. Didn’t know I was staring at a rare one
@datamonkey It’s factory sealed. I had a buddy of mine who is much more knowledgeable when it comes to that stuff check it out and we researched it to make sure. It’s one of my favorite pieces of my collection for sure
Some other Nintendo highlights from my collection are: I own every game Atlus has ever published in North America (not just Nintendo, I’ll never have the time to play all of them) This includes a pristine CIB copy of Jack Bros for Virtual Boy (I have a Virtual Boy and played it, great game) NCAA Basketball 2k3 for GameCube (wasn’t suppose to be released) Seattle Mariners DS Lite (Nintendo owned the Mariners and released a stadium exclusive DS Lite you could also use at the stadium to order food and drinks)
@Pawsebutton dude don’t open it! That game is crazy rare. I own just the cartridge and it’s a solid game but not worth opening one of very few sealed copies left
I own a sealed copy of Tengen Tetris for the NES. Considering how it got pulled from shelves and the cool history behind it I couldn’t justify opening it up. How many sealed copies are actually left?

Re: Random: Zelda Fan Pens Heartwarming Message To The Person Who Bought Their Beloved DS
My friend bought a Sega CD game once, and when he took the manual out he found plans for making a bomb. So not as sweet as the DS story. Lol
