I'm totally OK with spending $70 on a new game if it means supporting the game and the people who made it. Especially during a Pandemic witch is probably an Endemic at this point sadly.
But if something like Pikmin 4 is $70 then I don't know lol but I'm a suckered for Pikmin so maybe. This should be only for their major hits imo

It's sad because Nick has such a huge library of characters from different series to pull from but I feel like they give it to a studio that doesn't really care about any of the shows and give them a fixed budget and release date.
I wish they would actually give it to a studio that really loves the Nick toons franchise and give them a proper budget because I do believe it could really be good just like they did with Batman, dragon ball z, and Spider-Man. Hell I wouldn't even care if it was just a re skin of MK8 for the most part.
Of course they won't allow players to cross play with other console users but Life of Black Tiger, that's ok to put on their store with copy righted music in it.
I'm sure Smash Bros and Pokemon will sell well on the Switch but that Smash Bros half of it just dragged on more then it should have. I feel like all the minor details that pro players will care about could have been its own direct.
They showed us nothing new from the upcoming new Pokemon games.
No mention of a New Animal Crossing which is weird considering they showed us last year they were working on a new Metroid but showed nothing this year.
No news on what Retro next project is.
No new information on their online service which should have had a spot considering not well received the first announcement was.
Nothing new of that Yoshi game that was revealed last year.
The third party stuff was great but they really need the next Call of Duty, Battlefield, or Assassins Creed game on their. Whether you're a fan of those games or not, they are AAA games that Nintendo should try harder to get on the Switch.
I feel like if you're not a Pokemon fan or Smash fan then this direct just sucked. Yeah they could annocune new games later but E3 is like Prime Time where game fans and news journalist are watching and reporting.
I see Slowbro's tail (the shell on it) as a Pokemon which makes me wonder why it hasn't become a Pokemon itself? We know that a slowpoke evolves when a shelder clamps on its tail but what is that thing that shelder turns into? Why does it turns into that when it clamps on a slowpoke tail.

This is a smart move by Ubisoft because I want Rayman to do well and the best way to do well is to release it on all the platforms. Besides, the Wii U version is probably going to be the best version of the game.

Great interview and that game trailer is amazing! Too bad their is no 3D but he made a good point about it not being in. Hopefully the guys continue to support the game with dlc assuming it does well. Definitely getting this day one!

I agree with your statement. I remember playing Pikmin 2 multiplayer with my friends when I was a kid and saying, "this would be so cool if it had online multiplayer!" and after like 10 years or so in the making no online which is just sad. A game like Pikmin would benefit the most from online IMO.
I guess I can see the core audience who really enjoy Pikmin 1 and 2 buying this game but for someone who is new to this franchise, I can't see them paying $60 (assuming it's going to cost that much) for this game.

It was terrible. They didn't accomplish the task of convincing me or any of the so called "hardcore" players why they should buy a Wii U. Already played Batman AC, Mass Effect 3, and going to already played AC3 (assuming it launches after Oct 31st). Plus, from what I've seen so far, they showed no EA sports games, Black Ops 2, or Battlefield 3 which is depressing considering they're trying to grab that core market this time around and ZombiU isn't enough.
Pikmin 3 and Mario were expected which are great and no other first party games shown which is a downer.

Pikmin 3 is the only title that got me really excited! Been waiting for a new Pikmin since Pikmin 2 and was glad to see actual gameplay footage of it.
Oh and another title worth mentioning that wasn't shown during Nintendo's E3 Press Conference is Project P-100 which looks really good so far!
