@Toy_Link That certainly complicates things even more. I would not be surprised if they were just trying to cover up what was going on. After the block chain claims, it certainly looks like it wouldn't be below them.
I'm getting Gungeon vibes here. Very, very strong Gungeon vibes. It looks like a combination of Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon with some new ideas thrown in and a fresh - but still extremely quirky - new visual style to top it all off. I'm excited for this one and will be playing the demo.
@westman98 Maybe it's not going to be set primarily in Hyrule. At the very end, the castle starts to fly, so what we see in the trailer could just be the prologue. We'll just have to wait and see.
@JSDude1 I think Animal Crossing was too obvious to count as evidence for two directs this month. I doubt we'll see a general direct before AC releases. Nintendo will want that to be in the spotlight.
This game looks like it plays itself. I played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, and that version was enjoyable, but grindy. It took a while to get good enough stats to tackle some dungeons. Sometimes, enemies would pretty much one-shot me, dealing massive amounts of damage and ruin a good run. The most fun things about the game were moving to avoid dangerous encounters and conserving moves. Both of those things are pretty much obsolete now that there is no default move that doesn't cost PP and because 'auto' and pushing Pokemon you move towards lessen your mobility in fights. What if you're weak and stuck in a corridor across from an enemy that counters your type after using auto? Your two options are to fight and risk dying or push your partner(s) all the way to the other end of the corridor. Let's not forget that the game picks your moves as well. From the perspective of someone who has played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon before, I don't recommend playing this game. You can get a DS and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games on Ebay for cheaper and have more fun with them.

Re: Could Gyroids Be Returning To Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Oh god; please no.
Re: Cooking Mama: Cookstar Pulled Over Legal Dispute And Not Cryptocurrency Mining, Claims Dev
I feel sorry for the devs just trying to do their jobs in this scenario.

Re: Random: Can Animal Crossing Players Stop Imprisoning Poor Tommy, Please?
Just grow money trees. Getting money isn't hard if you know where to look.

@westman98 General map? Are you sure?
Re: Animal Crossing Direct Announced for 20th February
@SquareOneMJ Which is why I doubt we'll get a general direct before it's release. They wouldn't want anything detracting from it's momentum.
Re: Animal Crossing Direct Announced for 20th February
@Rodan2000 And then also that Metroid Prime 4 is cancelled. I'm not a Metroid fan, but I feel sympathy for people who have been waiting for this game.

@sixrings Hopefully we won't have to wait until E3.

@mariomaster96 I doubt we're going to get a general direct before Animal Crossing releases, but we can still hope one will.
