Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (30th November)

BottleCapDave

Unfortunately I work most weekends and so will only be playing a couple of hours in the nights. Have recently picked up a Switch Lite after a break long break from gaming.

Breath of the Wild - Not to far inn as of yet. So much space to explore I'm sure I will be playing this for a couple of years. Next side quest I want to complete is the Hateno village coast. Got to clear out some enemies there apparently.

World of Tanks Blitz - Only started playing this yesterday and it seems like a good quick game to play when you have 10 minutes spare.

Warframe - I have just downloaded it last night and not yet played. Want to see what the gameplay loop is like and whether worth putting time into it.

My worst experience in a mainline pokemon game. I've shelved this before finishing the story for the first time. A rather bland boring 'open world' that runs terribly with pop in and slowdown galore. I miss the GB/GBC/GBA/DS/3DS style gameplay. Also they need to stop throwing 'quality of life' features at us. Training has just about become obsolete, breeding has just about become obsolete, npc trainers are just about obsolete. If Game Freak are going to continue through with this direction I am guessing I am done with the franchise. Nevermind the poor performance and slow battles.

Re: Switch Sales Increased By A Whopping 175% In The UK During November

A lot of this is down to ease of availability too. Switch has highest availability, can find the console available at both brick and mortar and online stores easily throughout the whole year. Then the Xbox series S has also had very good availability too. The Series X is getting better over the last 6 months but the PS5 still struggling to be found available without effort in local stores or online.
