Judging by comments on here it seems to me like some people went into this direct intent on finding negatives. I don't know why. I guess that's the way the internet works these days. Maybe they can't afford it and want to bring the whole thing down to make themselves feel better. Who knows. If it's you though....try getting some help. It's no way to go through life. You're welcome!
Well it’s normal to be inspired by the best isn’t it?
I haven’t played it yet but astros playroom was one of the most fun and innovative experiences I’ve ever had in gaming so for anyone to accuse Astro bot as not being original is quite frankly farcical.
@BTB20 it is logical. With PS plus and game pass you pay a subscription fee but have constant additions. With this you are drip fed the odd game throughout the year and those usually include a lot of duds.
The fee is worth it if you’re a big Nintendo online gamer but it’s definitely not worth it for the way they treat these classic games.
@electrolite77 I saw @dazman comment before they deleted it for being nonsense. I think he’s talking about a different company. Shovelware? 😅
Rare don’t make shovelware. Sea of thieves and battletoads are their only games over the last 5 years. You mention no charm….viva piñata, kameo, ghoulies, sea of thieves all had charm and are from the Xbox era. Who knows what they have in store with Everwild.
Do yourself a favour Dazman. By the latest issue of Retro Gamer (issue 250) which had a huge feature on Rare and educate yourself.
@Dazman what a totally misguided and completely garbage comment. Yes rare made some amazing games on the nes, snes and n64 but they started before Nintendo and continued to flourish after Nintendo.
Viva piñata, grabbed by the ghoulies, nuts & bolts (yes not what we wanted but still good), sea of thieves. Not bad at all. Microsoft haven’t destroyed rare.
@SeantheDon29 it’s not overpriced. $49.99 a year for all that content. Wow. I spend that on a few beers on a Friday.
What we don’t need is having to buy a standalone game 30 years after buying it for the first time when it’s not been remastered or anything (like Crash).

Re: Nintendo Switch 2 Direct April 2025 - Every Announcement, Game Reveal & Trailer
@Znake we are headed to fully digital. Deal with it. The price increase is ok as it brings it in line with PS5 prices.
I don’t actually know what you’re replying to…I didn’t mention the issue you have. I replied to a guy who thinks USD are the same as AUD.
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 Direct April 2025 - Every Announcement, Game Reveal & Trailer
@DollyrotsFan1 at first I thought this was a troll comment as I didn't think someone could be so dumb but then I remembered it's 2025.
699 Australian dollars is the same as 440 American dollars.

@johnedwin that's what you took from it all? Go have a lie down

Re: Random: Modded Nintendo Switch OLED Runs Zelda: TOTK With 4K Visuals
In other words a completely pointless exercise.

Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Advance Library Later This Week
The only thing that can (temporarily) save this service now is adding GameCube. It’s awful
Re: Anniversary: Switch Turns Seven Today, With Over 11,000 Games On The eShop
Having 11,000 games is the worst thing about the switch. So much absolute garbage and still after all years the shop is a nightmare to navigate.
Re: Analogue's CEO Reckons Not Even Nintendo Could Beat Its New 'N64'
@SwitchForce I don’t think you quite understand what this is and what analogue do/have been doing for a while.
Re: Round Up: The Final Previews Are In For Super Mario Bros. Wonder
@PinderSchloss what a strange outlook on life you have.
Re: Internal Xbox Email Details Desire To Acquire Nintendo
Again…what shovelware for game pass? 😆😆😆
They have released a good game since 2001 so that’s utter nonsense. See meta scores.
Again…what shovelware has been developed by rare? Sea of thieves isn’t shovelware. Are you making it up?

Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Color, SNES & NES Library With Four More Games
@IceClimbersMain at the end of the switch? Why? The switch line up for the next few months looks brilliant.
Re: Hands On: Disney Illusion Island Is A Spectacular Platforming Surprise
@Friscobay bit of a bizarre take that. I think the visuals look great.
Re: Switch Online's N64 App Has Been Updated (Version 2.10.1)
@Ristar24 Surely that's coming soon although I'm still waiting for Sonic 1 on switch online too after they launvhed with only the sequel.
Re: Soapbox: If You Thought Last Year Was "Sad" For Switch, 2023 Might Be Hard To Handle
Yes it was a disappointment. No innovation, nothing new. Quite boring.
NSO continues to expand at a snails pace too. They really do need to improve.

Re: Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Brings 32 Classics To Nintendo Switch This July, Here's Your First Look
@SteamEngenius yes. Just like you can steal movies from torrents instead of going to the cinema or paying for it.
Not everybody wants that.
