Looking at the comments, looks like many people don't bother checking out the game's settings do they? There's an option to use buttons to control battle menus in addition to touch screen. Don't judge the game if you can't do simple things right by yourself.
I just love when people are so fast to jump on conclusions of which weapons are OP and which not... "Rollers are OP! Oh wait, they aren't. But Aerosprays definitely are...uh, scratch that. But Sloshers are OP, I'm so certain of it!"
Seriously though, some weapons may be difficult to deal with if your strategy against them is lacking or if you're at huge disadvantage by your choice of weapon, but no weapon is OP in my book (>170h of experience with Splatoon online multiplayer). Tentatek Splattershot is just stupidly balanced, that's all.
So there won't be S- Rank, and I won't be able to increase my Rank via Squad Battles/Tag Matches from A+? That's kinda boring. At least one can farm money easily via those modes
Ugh, after seeing what has happened to the quality of the figures I'm really on the fence getting even one of these... A real shame, the E3 prototypes were such a pleasure for the eyes
@Giygas_95 I agrew with you 100%. Especially almost every newcomers should be unlockable, having ten of them ready to use at the start doesn't make them feel that special compared if you had to do some work to get play as them.
I would have voted for GBA's SMB3 because of its superior feel compared to original makes it almost different game. But because that was impossible, I voted for NSMB2 because for some reason I just like it very much, it feels so right on the 3DS. Was a hard poll for me nevertheless, 'cause generally I love all of them Just started playing SMW for the first time ever on my own
@Yogsoggoth
Could you detail a bit more what do you mean?
mastermp2 here maybe has better examples for my point.
EDIT: I got to admit I haven't read the article, but my point basically is that when it comes to over sexualazing woman characters it is a talking point, but with man characters I don't think we are going to see that day. I may be missing something vital because I don't know what is written in the article though
@SockoMario
I feel the same, I didn't know that there's that much people who doesn't care about Smash. Whatever, for me its the most anticipated game of this year as MK8 was also
Aptly put my friend. Seriously, like there would be a moment that a single Mario game wouldn't be in a development, at least in the planning phase. The fact that they're already making a new Mario game doesn't mean it will be even shown in near future. Instawin for Internet-Sherlocks indeed.
What I have seen from gameplay footage drivers seem to recover much faster from damage by items etc. and from falling to pit. That itself decreases the frustration for me and makes the items less effective which is just a good thing.
Hmm, from what I have played the game so far (soon finished Wolrd 1 ), I can say that in my opinion this score seems as far fetched as they go. The gameplay's stabile and the controls feels nice, very similar to the original in a good way. And the musics aren't that bad, expect for those random toy-like instruments including tracks. And the level design, I feel it is working nicely and there are new things in every new level as there should be. Even though there isn't that much of new gameplay elements, it is still good and could go for even the "classic Nintendo quality" as for ensured entertainment factor. I found IGN's review much closer to the truth of the quality of the game.
And by the way, the graphics aren't even close as bad as they look in the trailers, in those Yoshi looked like some kind of vague polygon mess, but in the game he looks even cute. Overall I would give it a 7.5 from my current exprience of the game.

I thought I had max online race rating, then they increased the maxium to over 10 000, if not all the way to 99 999... Back to raicing business it is!
But darn, now losing on races really hurts, I lost something about 30 points from last place!

If a man is over sexualized aka has giant muscles and is very masculine etc. nobody bats an eye. Sigh... This is just stupid.

Hah, they wouldn't release any initial character at E3 you say? That's laughable at best.
