@Undead_terror yeah there was, its technically already done as a patch for a rom of mother 3. he wrote to nintendo offering to do it all for free.

@Le_Gazman honestly the camera is fine once you get used to it i cant see another way they could have done it.i only had problems with it getting stuck abit in the warehouse.

does seem to me like a game japan would eat up. i can easily imagine this on some futuristic arcade cab.

i got mine for £32 dont think its quite as rare in the uk tho.

i hate the word metroidvania it should just be called metroid, castlevania didnt start doing this untill well after metroid. there are even games like ducktales that used the style before castlevania

i know, wtf? why all the doomed talk when its not even the slightest bit bad if its done better than the ps3 at launch.

this is why nintendo remains my favorite after all these years they mix modern and classic gaming to perfection.

i would definitely go to the sunderland one if 3d land was playable. its only an hours drive from me.

this games one thing that really gets me mad! i would of bought this pretty much straight away if it came out on time. now i wont be able afford either with all the big games coming later this year.

yeah i used to play OOT alot with my mam so i have a similar experience.
probably the best memories i have with my mother, and probably the reason why nintendo is so close to my heart today.

@Pikachupwnage IMO it not incorrect at all, the motion controls are not impressive at all only the spin jump used them anyway, the star bits added virtually nothing, triple jumps where in since 64, theres new power ups in every game and who really cares about the health system. yeah the gravity stuff was cool so ill give you that, but it could still be annoying and disorientating from time to time.
really the galaxy games and 3d world are not all that different IMO with short linear levels, boss fights and level designs that seem to be on par with galaxy.
my point is that people are underestimating this game.

one thing i certainly dont want is another galaxy. man i was so bored by time i got through the second one. its pretty much the same as 3d world anyway dont understand peoples complaints. just because you dont fly through the air between levels....

hmm im quite confused, i used to get the official nintendo magazine not nintendo magazine system around the n64 era. i never seen any off these being sold tho. are these US mags or something?

@MadAdam81 your right there in reality no one cares about metroid except die hard fans, too be honest during my childhood with the n64 i didnt know or care what metroid was. i do love the series now but only because of super really the prime games sort of drag on a bit.....
im happy with DK myself metroid can come later when they have a better understanding of the wii U hardware.

yeah i thought the graphics on this were awful from the beginning looks like loads of bits copy and pasted together, would have been better off keeping the original art style.

the original was one of my earliest gaming memorys. i used to be terrified by the opening cut scene with the man turning into the lizard thing. i hope it comes to eshop it would be interesting to see how far i could get now.

to be honest i still like it better than the look of this cat suit.

id say DK64 was the only game that the huge amount to collect was a problem. it was the fact that there was 5 characters and there for 5 different sets of collectables on each level. requiring you to explore each area fully 5 separate times. this was far, far, far too much imo and is the reason dk64 is my least favorite of the 3d n64 platformers.

well at least its free for the first month. ive got a major problem with games releasing with DLC tho. fair enough a few month down the line to freshen the game up but games should be complete upon realease!

@Yoshi3DS yeah i agree with mate, id say the the lost world is definitely going to be the main game. i cant see another fully fledged sonic game coming before the end of the year.

@ULTRA-64 yeah mate, its well worth picking up. its really cheap now too, well it was as soon as it came out to be honest. one of the best platformers on wii, maybe even the best.
and if you like a good challenge the land of the livid dead ( the last sort of secret level ) is one of the best video game levels you will ever play, at least in my opinion.

did anyone play morph? you were a little red ball that could "morph" into gas and liquid and was a sorta puzzle platformer i used to love that on my amiga 32! hope to see more games getting this treatment.

maybe mario's in the middle of the cube, which in turn signals the end of gaming all together.

@KnightRider666 thats why i said only a little, i didnt think the touch screen controls were all that bad, but yeah definatily not perfect.

is this really a surprise the 3ds may aswell be the only handheld on the market right now.
