Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's Switch eShop Price Is $70 USD

BeetleSpider99

That's unfortunate if it's indeed true. At least with Sony or Microsoft, gamers can wait a bit and then there will be a decent sale on the game. But not with nintendo first party games, and if so, it's s very seldom. Oh well. The other thing is it's bold of nintendo to put a $70 price tag on a game we barely know anything about but hopefully it will be justified. Again, assuming the price change is true

Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Major Upcoming Switch Games

BeetleSpider99

The only games I really have an interest in are Splatoon 3, Kirby's Dream Buffett and BOTW 2. But I need to see more of Splatoon 3 to see if I'll actually get it. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of the game considering it releases in almost a month. But I'm certain we'll probably get more info or maybe a game specific direct this month for the game

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Sonic Origins

BeetleSpider99

Pretty solid reviews. I will pick this up just for the fact that I've never played any of the original games before so it will be worth it to me. The only sonic games I've played are sonic advance, adventure 2 battle and sonic dx both on gamecube. So, this will be a great experience for me.

Re: Nintendo Highlights Upcoming N64 Releases In Latest 'Switch Online + Expansion Pack - Overview Trailer'

BeetleSpider99

@Arkay "$50 is nothing" actually it is a lot for a subscription that still to this day has no basic voice chat, bad infrastructure, the peer to peer structure, no set free game schedule like ps plus and their 2 free games per month. Cloud backups are pathetic and won't let us backup every game and even some of the games that need it the most, no great sales or deals like Sony and Microsoft do, etc. This price is getting close to Sony and MS services and if nintendo is going to increase the price of their service then I expect all these features. You've completely missed the point of the price. The price increase is only worth it if the value of the service increases. Right now? Not so much

Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Major Upcoming Switch Games

BeetleSpider99

I really hope we have a direct soon (next couple weeks perhaps) so that we can get more updates on these games. I really want an upgrade on Splatoon 3 and Breath of the Wild 2. I think Breath of the Wild 2 will have its own direct though or Nintendo may wait to show it later in the year around E3. Either way I'm excited for what 2022 has to bring us. Just need that first direct of the year

Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Price?

BeetleSpider99

@Rob13 you and a bunch of other nintendo fanboys are completely missing the point. The $50 price range is making it close to ps plus and xbox live gold. When it gets that more expensive then I expect the value of the service to increase. But that's not the case with NSO. They're increasing the cost yet lack so many basic features that it's competitors have. I expect cloud backup saves for every game now, actually good quality monthly free games, exclusive discounts on the nintendo eshop, actual good quality infrastructure that doesn't lag every 3 seconds, etc. But of course that won't happen. It's pathetic. There's still minimal value to the service

Re: Nintendo Leaker Suggests Pricing Of Switch Online's Expansion Pack Could Be Tied To "Licensing Costs"

BeetleSpider99

Licensing costs or not, it still doesn't change the fact that nintendo's online is still complete garbage. Charging $50 annually and still don't have the basic features that xbox and playstation have...its completely unacceptable. Now that it's in the $50 range this service is more starting to be compared to other online services..nintendo needs to get with the times.

Re: A New Kirby Game Just Leaked On Nintendo Japan's Website

BeetleSpider99

People who are complaining about being spoiled with announcements before a direct...THAT'S YOUR FAULT. I don't understand why people get so upset when they themselves made the decision to go online in the first place. If you're so worried about being spoiled then idk...maybe stay off the internet perhaps?

With that being said, this game looks pretty good. Need more info on it if it's real.

Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, 23rd September

BeetleSpider99

I'd love to see Wave Race, pikmin 4, and NSO update (64 games please)...this would be wishful thinking but OOT and MM double pack remastered/remake would be even better (wishful thinking I know). I also think we may get the final smash bros DLC character announcement although that may be saved for later as it's own presentation.

Re: Nintendo's E3 Direct To Air 15th June

BeetleSpider99

I just want some more news on BOTW2 then I'd be happy. I'd love for some surprises as well but ya never know what to expect from this year. Who knows. An update or some gameplay on splatoon 3 would also be a welcoming addition but seeing how they said they'd be showing mostly games in 2021 then it's understandable if it's not shown.

Re: Monolith Soft Announces "Large Expansion" As Work On Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Continues

BeetleSpider99

@Mackocaster7 not necessarily. It's pretty common for video game companies to hire contractors to ramp up the development and make sure deadlines are met. Let's just say BOTW 2 is set to release at the end of 2021 or early 2022 then it may make sense for them to hire contractors to meet that deadline and make sure development is proceeding as planned and that they don't fall behind. But it could also be for other projects so who knows.

Re: Nintendo "Doesn't Have Anything To Share" About Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Right Now

BeetleSpider99

@Chowdaire I think it has less to do with using the same assets and engine and more about the world of hyrule in this game. Aunoma staged that the game would take place in the same hyrule, but nintendo knows that they can't just use the same ruined, empty space from the first game. They have to make it with a different look or a more developed feel (if that's where they're going). Aunoma also said something like "in order to make the world from botw more impressive, the team is working hard on its development" which tells me they're added a lot of new things and different things to the world and that will take time

Re: Nintendo "Doesn't Have Anything To Share" About Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Right Now

BeetleSpider99

The fact that Aunoma said "We SHOULD be able to give you some information this year", that really doesn't sound too assuring to me. It's just the wording of it. Sounds to me like even Nintendo is unsure about when to provide or when they will be able to provide new info. I think this game is definitely coming out next year. But as long as it's polished and is the best it can be I can wait.

Re: Nintendo Reveals Splatoon 3, Coming To Switch In 2022

BeetleSpider99

I'm so excited for this! Love splatoon 2 and I'm sure I will love this one too! Honestly this hopefully will feel more like a true sequel. Splatoon 2 really wasn't that much of a jump from the original splatoon from what I've heard. That was a two year gap..this will be a five year gap which is a plenty of time between the games imo
