@Kalmaro some did and some did not. It doesn't really matter if they waited until they made a name for themselves. As was stated earlier it is a marketing strategy.
As far as the name thing is concerned a lot of you all are nitpicking. So what he used his social media handle as the name for his game. In the movies and music industry many creative works are named after their creators. For example, Beyonce named her album after her, Tyler Perry also puts his name in front of just about everything he makes. It is a marketing strategy that is older than the day is long.
This is already common practice in the video game industry. Off the top of my head: Sid Meier's Civilization Tom Clancy Splinter cell Tiger woods pga golf Madden Mike Tyson punch out Tony Hawk Dave Mirra Dr kimishima brain training Shaq- fu 50 cent bulletproof
Stop with the nonsense.
As for this game I like the artistry and effort the developer put forward and hope he finds some success to keep going.
This is a very ambitious trailer. It looks like it merged pokken with traditional game. I love that the players can move the Pokemon. I think this type of gameplay would suit Pokemon well. They just would have to make it more arcadey like powerstone but with Pokemon.
I don't know if it's just me though but I despise the doe eyed trainer characters. The art styles for humans kinda clashed with the environment.
Unfortunately I am not too optimistic that we will get anything close to this level with the new Pokemon open world game from the Pokemon company.

Re: "Pokémon Redrawn" Is A Pixel Art Project That's Redesigning Johto And Kanto
I think it would be neat to see Pokemon use the art style/ pixel style of octopath traveler.
Re: Ace Attorney Games Are Now On Sale Across Switch And 3DS (North America)
I was really hoping for professor layton vs Phoenix wright but I don't think that game will ever go on sale.
Unrelated but I would love a professor layton bundle or trilogy.

Re: Disney And Dotemu Releasing Two LucasArts Classics On The Switch eShop Next Month
I love Zombies ate my neighbors but have never beaten the game. They should make a modern sequel.
I haven't heard much good about ghoul patrol. I might look into it.
Re: Metroid Prime Trilogy Switch Port? Unlikely, Says Former Retro Studios Dev
As @LPX8 said the Trilogy has been ported frequently and needs a rest. I would rather just wait on Prime 4.
If there had to be a port of a Metroid Game I think it should be Metroid Other M developed by the team that did Samus returns on 3DS.
Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Do More DLC For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Or Just Release Mario Kart 9 Already?
Neither. Instead Nintendo can revive another one of their kart racing games like Diddy Long Racing developed exclusively by the Mario Kart team.
They can make DKR their arena battle kart racer. Imagine racing through levels inspired by the donkey Kong series with music composed by David Wise.
Plus the Nintendo fandom will be excited to get a game with the Kongs and maybe Kremlins
