Played the demo of this and whilst the gameplay and music were good, there was something I couldn't pin down I didn't like. I think it was the level design and art style. There was so many things on the screen at one moment making it difficult to figure out where to go.
It also seems to be targeting a low frame rate, which is a huge no no in platformers, especially when there are tons of elements on the screen. You want everything to be slick.
It's most likely the woman is double jointed in her thumbs. Both mine are and go at a weird angle.
But speaking as a designer, I won't be surprised if some AI was used in touch up on photoshop or premier pro. A lot of the removal tools now rely on machine learning. I use the tool split out models from the background, in order to change the colour.
Honestly it's too late. They've had what, 10 years to sort this out? Instead of actually developing their shop, Nintendo have been chasing to plug holes in an attempt to block piracy. If the launch of the switch 2 is anything to go by, they haven't learned anything, and eventually the pirates will exploit the switch 2.
A lot of games that I would've played on switch, I have instead bought them on steam, where I can extensively look into a game, its reviews, the developers and discuss with other users. Not to mention the 2 week grace period where I can refund the damn thing. Even Microsoft and Sony offer refunds up to 2 weeks. Absolute and utter joke.

Re: Nintendo "Cagey" About Letting Games On Switch 2, Wants To Avoid "Slop Fest"
Nah if they really wanted to filter the shovelware, they would've allowed customers to upvote the games that they enjoyed. It's really quite simple.
Re: Switch 2 Noir-Fueled Detective FPS 'Mouse: P.I. For Hire' Has Been Slightly Delayed
I've been following the journey of this game since they put out the test animation video. Really looking forward to playing it.
