Wow, none of my planned buys are listed here: Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, Dark Forces, Shiren, Postal Brain Damaged, PlateUp!, BandleTale and Inkulinati...
I totally expect Take Two and WB Games go all in in the Switch's final year. 2023 saw stuff like RDR1, Borderlands 3, MK1 and Batman trilogy, wouldn't be surprised if we see these on Switch in 2024:
GTA4 Complete Bully Scholarship Edition Mafia Trilogy (or just Mafia 2 and 3) Shadow of Mordor/War F.E.A.R. trilogy
add those to already rumored stuff (MGS4-5, Shadow of the Damned, Beyond Good & Evil etc) you'll have a mighty fine year.
Pretty unlikely for a Lite version of the successor to launch at the same time with the regular one. Switch Lite is pretty much perfect for me, small enough to take it to work with me. Unless Nintendo managed create a console with similar form factor, I'll be playing my Lite for years to come.
There's also Biomutant but it seems it's delayed to February. There's no official word on it yet but retailers list it for that date. Official site still says November.
@ozwally There's a guarantee: The port is done by Saber. They never abandon their Switch ports. They'll patch the game for years to come. I mean, they still patch The Witcher 3, even 4 years after its launch!
@dojmin You're absolutely right. But on Switch it's a little different. We either get unfinished stuff or... nothing at all. Look at the fighting genre on Switch. It's missing some very important franchises, not a single representation of Tekken, Dead or Alive or Soul Calibur. Our options are very limited if we want to play some 3D fighters on the go. Other devs don't bother at all, unlike Netherrealm. And just because of that, people are willing to overlook the shortcomings of this game: The overpriced early version of MK1 is currently charting at 27 on eShop!
@Cashews This game unusually uploaded to the eShop the moment it was announced. It was obvious on that day we'd have the unfinished version at launch. Other developers work on the game until the very last day and they are unavailable for preorder, but MK1 devs didn't. They just dumped the game on eShop as it is and devs continued to work on the patch that would be coming much later.
I'm guessing this is more of a WB decision rather than Netherrealm one. They wanted as many as preorders I guess.
Not a fan of listing negatives that can be/that WILL be patched in the future. MK11 patched lots of times, MK1 will definitely also be. I hope you'll return to this review and fix the score once it is.
Of course you've missed some games because the month is absolutely packed, it's understandable:
Gloomhaven MythForce Fate Samurai Remnant Weird West Definitive Edition Anonymous;Code Operation Wolf Returns Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 4 Mineko's Night Market Cocoon Chants of Senaar Rise of the Triad
Naruto is basically a compilation so they have Baten Kaitos and Jujutsu Kaisen for Switch. I feel they'll reveal one more thing at the next Direct. Possibly another remaster. My money is on Soul Calibur III.
@Ainze Yeah wrong wording, I should have said series instead of games.
Because they have only ported Just Cause 1 and none of the other JC games.
And I just noticed, they replied one tweet asking if the dolphins are Atlantic (Just Cause 1) or pacific (Just Cause 2). They said they are Mediterranean/African (Just Cause 3). Haven't played JC3 but i don't remember JC2 having dolphins.
One of them is definitely is Hitman Absolution. The game features plenty of pool tables and the words "Now you've got to play the part" is from a 1984 song "I want to be a clone". Agent 47 is a clone.
Other one has dolphins and the words "Over Our Heads" is a song by Keith Morris's band OFF. It's about skydiving. Out of Feral's mac portfolio, only games to feature skydiving are Just Cause games. In Just Cause 2 you can skydive right into ocean but I'm not sure if the ocean has dolphins. It did have whales, though.
Don't forget, Feral only ports games to Switch from their Mac portfolio. You can find it on their wikipedia page (though it has some missing titles).

Re: Video: 12 Exciting Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In November 2023
@ITSAMELUIGI It still has a countdown site for this month: https://biomutant-switch.thqnordic.com/biomutant-switch/US/nsw
But when you click the preorder links below (amazon/gamestop) they have a February 2024 date.

Re: Demon Slayer Is Getting The Mario Party Treatment In 2024
Tanjiro is Mario, Nezuko is Peach, Zenitsu is Luigi and Inosuke is Wario. It all makes sense!
Re: Company Of Heroes Collection Marches The Classic RTS Game Onto Switch This Autumn
Would have preferred the second game but will get it nonetheless. Hoping for smooth locked 60 fps, feral can do it.
Re: Video: 9 Exciting New Games Coming To The Nintendo Switch In September 2023
Of course you've missed some games because the month is absolutely packed, it's understandable:
Gloomhaven
MythForce
Fate Samurai Remnant
Weird West Definitive Edition
Anonymous;Code
Operation Wolf Returns
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 4
Mineko's Night Market
Cocoon
Chants of Senaar
Rise of the Triad
Re: Switch Port Specialist Feral Interactive Teases Another Two Games
The latter hint can also be Company of Heroes 2. Apparently it had a charity DLC for the dolphins and whales.
Honestly, I hope it isn't the case. CoH plays pretty badly on iPad, I can't imagine how worse the sequel would be on Switch.
