@Ps4all I would just use emulators as opposed to filling scalpers pockets. The original developers will get no money from people spending money on 2nd hand legit NES cartridges. Also if people are selling NES classics on eBay, the developers will have recieved any monies already. However, after all of that Nintendo seem to have handled these retro releases terribly by making it so hard for people to obtain them initially.

I've just ordered one off Argos (thanks for the heads up NL!). Here's hoping it doesn't get cancelled.

There is a lot of buzz around the switch launch but no doubt people will dump on it regardless. That's the Internet for ya I hope it's a massive success as I want to play third party titles as well as the Nintendo staples. Only time will tell I suppose!

I downloaded and played it and whilst I appreciate the presentation and graphics, it's just not for me. I've never liked this type of gameplay but i can see the game appealing to those who do. As for the shares.... I would take no notice, it's probably share holders with large stakes selling to try and scare off smaller investors and buying all the shares back up. It happens all of the time. When the switch is released I would imagine the share price will rise and stay quite steady for quite a while.

I haven't read all of the article or comments but I think Nintendo need to get the likes of FIFA, Cod and GTA onto the NX to get the interest of the Xbox and playstation customers. Now if the NX can run these games on the go and on the TV at home I believe it will sell very well.

@mozie That's what I was about to post. I suppose it has some tablet like features but a tablet it ain't.

I hate these kind of articles. It sounds as if praise must be sought to justify liking something.

On saying that I hope it helps improve sales as it keeps Nintendo in business and might get more developers on board to bring more great games to the console.

Nintendo should just make their own football game and make ingenious use of the controller. FIFA and PES have both lost the fun factor for me anyway so it doesn't bother me that they're not Wii U bound. Nintendo should make it like a sim game where you get a GTA type character and have to get him to the top of the football ladder. Just don't get caught in the strip club by the paps lol

This should be the game that Nintendo supports with a proper app for iOS, android etc. it would allow people to create levels on the train or whatever and play them when they get home. Since they've got club Nintendo accounts linked now I'm sure they could do so with an app. I'm not a level editor kinda guy but this thought popped into my head out of the blue

I have always ended up buying almost every console released, but this time around Playstation and Xbox does absolutely nothing for me. I don't find myself getting hyped for either. I'll probably just stick with the WiiU and 3DS XL this time around. I honestly never thought the day would come when I would have no interest in a new console and now there is 2 I don't really care for :-/

Great game! Really enjoying it. The graphics are gorgeous and the gameplay is brilliant. It's a shame the rear view mirror isn't on the game pad though! What a missed opportunity! I can't understand why the game pad functions are so limited...surely they could have used it for something more innovative than a map and a horn :-/ But that aside the game itself is fab!

I'll grab this on the 3DS when it hits Europe

I would definitely have bought it for Wii U. Instead I got it for PS3. Despite what people's view on the game are, it is a big mistake IMO for it not to be on Wii U. The added features the touchpad could have brought to the game as well as probably slightly better graphics, than the current gen, could have helped boost sales and improved the image of the Wii U to non owners.

It's there now, under 'More new software'. Strange there is no new section on the main page of the eshop to shout about it. Maybe that will follow shortly.

I'm looking forward to the new titles I don't understand the moaning though... There have been multiple Mario/Luigi (+ other universe characters) games since forever on all of the Nintendo platforms. I think people must enjoy them or they would have stopped making them years ago.

I had my Nintendoland. It wasn't factory sealed and contained a club Nintendo voucher. I was surprised by this as I'm sure I read that when the register your premium bundle it adds Nintendoland automatically? Unless I read it wrong :-/

For those saying that this is expensive, its probably the new controller that's putting the price higher, it's gotta be worth £80. Plus I wouldn't worry what other countries pay as its swings and roundabouts, they pay more for other stuff etc. plus in USA they pay sales tax on items most places and this is added on afterwards, unlike UK prices which already have VAT added.
