@Pokefanmum82 LOL I never let my kid handle the discs or the gamepad. I tell him I and his mom are the only ones who will change the disc. Plus I keep the games out of his reach.
@Zach777
Kotaku and other sites are also sharing their experiences on this game. I don't think they are being paid by Nintendo. It's just that there are interesting or hilarious moments worth "sharing". Plus the game just came out so why not take advantage of it.
You do also realize that NLife makes a living on writing Nintendo-related articles? I mean look at Kotaku, IGN and other sites. They even make 5-10 articles in a single game. If you're not interested, don't read it. I skip most 3DS articles myself as I don't have one (although I click and have a quick scan on the content before closing it). It's better to have something to read on than nothing.
@sinalefa
I agree. Most players I speak with say "Mario is for kids. Zelda is for hardcore gamers". I guess Nintendo is trying to woo hard core gamers. I mean, look at LoZ reveal reactions from gamers compared to Mario reveals.
@Will-75 It's the other way around for me. The more I watch these videos, the more it make me not want the game. I'm glad you guys like it though. But if I gotta choose which one to play, it will be link with that staff.
I need to watch more Evolved gameplay to understand the hype. I think it was just like Crysis3 hunter/predator with actual predators. Also DragonAge was playable on E3? I haven't come across any gameplay videos.
Yoshi's Wooly World should have gotten an award for being adorable.
Edit:
Also Wii U gamepad should have won over Oculus VR. LOL
@Blue-Thunder
I hope so. It will be my first star fox game as I'm going to buy it to understand the hype. Plus it's Miyamoto's. I did a little research and I kinda hoped they went the star fox adventures route.
@2Sang
But it was just a tease. He didn't show any gameplay or in-game footage to impress or excite us. Just a blurred image of that star fox jet. (Sorry I'm not really familiar)
@Blue-Thunder
Did you read my second post? I said I based my opinion on what was shown. Are you impressed with the tease? Yes maybe if you're a fan of star fox. I am not, I've never played one and I'm not excited about it so I'm not impressed. It was in my opinion that Miyamoto got a percentage drop probably because of it. Am I correct? I don't know, I said "probably". Did it diminish my view on Miyamoto? No it didn't.
Edit:
To be clear the top 3 games that impressed me are Yoshis Wooly World visually, Splatoon on gameplay, and Captain Toad on both gameplay and visuals.
@XCWarrior
I judged it by what I saw. I don't have any idea if they will be good or bad on the final product outcome. I just based my opinion in what they've shown and what I've felt about it. I'm not bashing Miyamoto nor it diminished my outlook of him.
@gurtifus @Yorumi Yes that could work. Maybe limit the download to another system once per year. Going beyond that would require you to send the machine (if it's broken/missing) to Nintendo. I dunno. Let Nintendo figure it out.
Also it might not be a big deal on EU or US regions as they enforce anti-piracy laws. But it would be a disaster in some parts of Asia and other regions. They too have anti-piracy laws but it's broken. You could buy pirated games and softwares on markets and even on malls(shopping centers) ranging from 1$ to 5$! They can even install games/music/softwares on your system/machine for a price.
@gurtifus @Yorumi @ferthepoet Yeah so I could just buy all awesome VC, indie, and eShop retail games and download them in my system and to all my friends' system using my account, maybe I'd buy an extra Wii U and sell it to my friend's friends at a higher price for personal profit.
Unless Nintendo implement some kind of DRM/checking changes when installing games on other machines, it could work. Right now with the current system where you can play games on a guess account, it won't be feasible for Nintendo.
I love them! There are few companies left that I respect from PC/console gaming industry (Nintendo, Valve, CD Projekt Red, Sony to name a few) and Nintendo is the best of them when it comes to their offerings. (Well-polished games, DLCs/expansions, gameplay, fun, etc).
Yeah with tablets, parents don't need to purchase any apps/games or it doesn't cost much compared to retail games. That's why most parents prefer it.
I use to let my kid play with a tablet/smartphone but I've already banned it a few months ago. He can watch TV or play an hour on our Wii U alone (or a few hours with me) if we're not going out.
I agree with the pony tail judging by gameplay videos I've watched. She looks way better now. I'm really glad Nintendo included the original game as I've no intention in buying Bayo2 without playing the first one.
@sinalefa Yes but the Definitive Edition have a different look than the PC version. And I haven't bought it yet so if I'm gonna buy a PS4 or an XB1 then I'd go for the console version.
I'm still leaning on getting the PS4 next year but only TLoU HD, Tomb Raider HD and the upcoming Rise of TR are the games I'm eyeing at the moment. I'm not interested in Uncharted at all although they say it's similar to Tomb Raider.
2-disc physical or bust! just kidding. I'm going 2-disc physical if available and at the same price out I'm going both digital. I hope for Bayo3 Wii U exclusive before we get the next console.

@ogo79
Thanks. Good to know. anyway, I edited my first post since Google keyboard prediction is messing up.
Re: Buck Rogers SNES Prototype Materializes
@Pod
LOL was there a Bucky O'Hare on SNES that I don't know of? I've only played the Famicom one. I did love it when I was a kid.
Anyway, I prefer the second video on the article.
Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2014 - Summer Edition
Also good luck for those who will buy watchdogs. I have a feeling Ubisoft won't be bringing watchdogs 2 on the Wii U.

Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2014 - Summer Edition
Anyway, Sonic Boom U doesn't look that good. I'll wait for reviews. If it'll get at least 8 on NLife, IGN and some other sites then I will get it.
Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2014 - Summer Edition
Smash Wii U, Bayonetta, Captain Toad, and Project Cars since I skipped that EA published NFSU.
@ThomasBW84 isn't Devil's Third coming out this year?

Re: 72 Million Kids Are Dying To Get Their Grubby Hands On Smart Toys Like Amiibo
@Kosmo
What? I'd buy my kid Luigi and maybe Yoshi. The rest on my list will be mine.
@Captain_Gonru
I'll surely buy Mushroom Kingdom chars as they appear on a lot of games. Outside of that, I'll get 1 or 2 on some favorite franchises.
Re: Iwata's Approval Rating Rises While Miyamoto's Drops Slightly
@Melkac
My first one to hear that one I'll check some videos later. And yeah, 3rd-person adventure plus flying/combat will be better.

2D side scrolling Zelda for 3DS please. or maybe isometric view Zelda for a change. Haha!

Probably lack of enticing games. personally I'm not impressed with Starfox, Project Guard and Robot.

VC games count.

Yes but the Definitive Edition have a different look than the PC version. And I haven't bought it yet so if I'm gonna buy a PS4 or an XB1 then I'd go for the console version.
I see you're a Platinum Games fan.
Re: The Legend of Korra Turn-Based SRPG Bending its Way to 3DS

What's the other reason if I may ask?
I'm still leaning on getting the PS4 next year but only TLoU HD, Tomb Raider HD and the upcoming Rise of TR are the games I'm eyeing at the moment. I'm not interested in Uncharted at all although they say it's similar to Tomb Raider.
Re: The Legend of Korra Turn-Based SRPG Bending its Way to 3DS
Yeah Activision, no Wii U and the other consoles are getting it.

7 on Eurogamer with PC version.
IGN gave it a 9.

9 on NLife, 9 on IGN. It seems I'm getting this day one on Wii U when it hits Europe.
Edit
Lol it got a 7 on Eurogamer but with the PC version.
