Update []: The latest Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind update is now live on the Nintendo Switch.
Digital Eclipse's head of production Stephen Frost has also revealed the team has submitted the "online" patch to Nintendo and will be able to share further updates about this very soon in the New Year.
"The 1.0.4 Switch update for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind is now live and brings a whole bunch of fixes and improvements. The "online" patch has also been submitted to Nintendo and we'll be able to share further updates about that in the New Year."

When online is activated it will be a free update for all platforms. Unfortunately, there's no cross-platform play - so you'll have to stick with Power Rangers on your platform of choice. You can see the full patch notes for the latest update in the original story below this update.
Will you be checking out this new update for Rita's Rewind? How are you finding it so far? Let us know in the comments.
Original Story: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind made its debut on the Switch last week and it's gone down relatively well so far with critics and fans alike.
In saying this, not everything is available on every platform (like online play), but the developers are working on it and have now rolled out the first major update. The Switch version is expected to receive this update "soon". Here's exactly what you can expect:
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind UPDATE: December 2024
"We've heard suggestions from lots of players over the last few days, and we're happy to say we're rolling out refinements to Rita's Rewind to adjust various parts of the game based on that feedback. These changes are available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 now, but all players on other platforms will receive this update soon."

It currently has a "Mixed" rating from users on Steam (that's very bad!).
On MetaCritic the critics rate it in the "60s" on PS5, in the "70s" on PC and in the "80s" on XBox. So, thanks a lot critics...
A common complaint is all the characters "play the same", and does not compare to Shredder's Revenge or Streets of Rage 4, but those are high bars to clear.
I am glad that they are listening to the feedback and even more glad that the feedback is friendly. Hopefully the changes improve the game. I am interested in giving it a try eitherway.
Great news because I got stuck on the Eye Zord level and its not my fault. The difficulty spike is insane!
Looking forward to playing this after some more apparently needed adjustments, when the physical edition comes out next year.
Currently playing through Shredder's Revenge over and over, so I guess I'll need a cool down period before jumping in Rita's Rewind, to not get disappointed ....
Love to hear that they're refining this game according to players' feedback, looking forward to eventually playing it myself!
I'm looking forward to the DLC with the white ranger
First thing they need to fix ASAP is the crashing bug that literally makes the game unplayable after you've finished it once. Spent 30 Euro on a game I can't even play...
That being said, some of the measures they've taken do sound great on paper and a lot of people on RangerBoard, who've already played the patched version say it's MILES better now. Shame that it had to release in a rather poor state that will absolutely affect the overall opinion of the game.
I hope they haven't made the dodge too technical in the higher difficulties - it was actually the best part of the beat 'em up segments. I also hope they make the Megazord battles playable on their own after beating them once - surprisingly, those punch-outs were probably my favourite part of the entire game.
With all the references in the game, I can't help but think if the final boss was a nod to the Daizyujin vs Dragon Caesar (Megazord vs Dragonzord) ping-pong battles in the Zyuranger Famicom game.
@marcelominucelli
Metallic Armor would be nice!
Super glad to hear this!!! Good for them to listen and fix the issues. I was stuck in the second Zord battle, kept dying. Currently it seems like the game is too difficult to play by yourself. Hopefully this update will will fix that.
@Shiryu And I couldn't even get past the first Zord fight against Goldar, who keeps dodging my moves and reduce the sword meter in a few hits.
@WaveBoy If you like pixel art beat em ups, have you tried Karate Kid Street Rumble or GI Joe Wrath of Cobra?
