Update []:
Bandai Namco has now confirmed the 'Future Saga Chapter 2' DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be arriving this week on 21st November 2024.
Players will have access to the God of Destruction Belmod, Jiren (Full Power, Ultra Supervillain), and Goku (Mini). Additional new content includes a new extra mission, four new parallel quests, seven new skills, new costumes and accessories, more Super Souls, and more loading screen illustrations (via Gematsu).
"Witness the clash of will as it travels through time and space. Jiren Ultra Supervillain, God of Destruction Belmod, and Goku (Mini) from Dragon Ball DAIMA will join the fight when Chapter 2 of the FUTURE SAGA DLC releases November 21!"
Along with this, season seven of Dragon Ball: The Breakers has now officially launched for Switch and other platforms.
It ties in with the game's second anniversary and includes the addition of the new raider Gamma 1 & Gamma 2. More updates are also on the way - the new skill "now it's my turn!" for "Gohan (Adult) (Beast)" and "Shenron's Gift" will be added to "Piccolo (Orange). You can also get a jacket and some stamps.

Original Story:
The new Dragon Ball Daima anime series launched last week and as part of this, there's some new themed content on the way to multiple Bandai Namco games.
First up, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be receiving some new DLC, officially titled 'Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm' with part one "coming soon".
Next up, Goku's (Mini) version from the Dragon Ball Daima universe will be joining the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 'Future Saga Chapter 2' DLC. There will also be a free trial period for a limited time:
"Goku (Mini) from Dragon Ball DAIMA will be joining the fight in the #DBXV2 FUTURE SAGA Chapter 2 DLC! A free trial campaign for Goku (Mini) will be held for a limited period. Grab the Power Pole and go on a rampage!"
Bandai Namco is also offering Dragon Ball Daima content (and eventually additional DLC fighters) in its new game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero (released on PlayStation, Xbox and PC last week).
Here's a summary of the new anime series Daima (via Crunchyroll) which features original work, story and character designs from Akira Toriyama, who passed away earlier this year:
"Goku and company were living peaceful lives when they suddenly turned small due to a conspiracy! When they discover that the reason for this may lie in a world known as the "Demon Realm", a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them."
Episode one of Dragon Ball Daima is now available on streaming services like Crunchyroll and can be watched with subtitles. Last month, Bandai Namco also rolled out a balance patch for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Will you be checking out any of the Daima content coming to these Dragon Ball games? Have you watched the first episode yet? What did you think? Let us know in the comments.

There's like 10 people at a time on XenoVerse 2 servers, at least when I used to play on PS4 and then on Switch a couple years ago. How is the game still profitable enough to make new content and keep the servers alive? I'm not criticizing that they are still updating it, it's actually great.
Awesome! I am definitely looking forward to this getting added to Xenoverse 2! I haven’t played Kakarot though. I just watched my brother play it once and was a little underwhelmed…But I’ll try it again.
@roy130390 Me and my brother play it occasionally, though not online. It’s probably our favorite game to play together on Switch.
@LavenderShroud Nice, I really miss playing the game. I'm downloading it right now again haha.
@LavenderShroud @roy130390 This is basically precisely why. The game is dead til a DLC drops and then it comes to life in a big way all over again. It’s basically evergreen.
@roy130390 I mean the game has sold more than 10 million units across all platforms even if only 10% buys the DLC that's a win
They just released "new gen" versions announced a new director and there's still two more dlc planned
I really should give these Dragon Ball games a try even more so considering all the DLC they keep on getting, but unfortunately seriously doubt I'll be able to anytime soon considering all the games I'm currently playing and upcoming ones.
Oh well, happy for those able to play them!
Damn it, my 1TB SD card is already full. I don't want Kakarot to grow another 5-10 GB in size!
... and nothing for Fighterz
Not heard of Daima until now.
When does it take place in relation to the original Dragon Ball and Z?
I just got Kakarot+New Power physically.
"Purchased" all the rest of the DLC...
I wish this was all on one cart!
@Spider-Kev Takes place after Z but before Super or GT.
@Lucami Ooh... a "next gen" update might be just the thing I need to get back into the game. Loved quite a lot about it, but man, visually it's one of the ugliest DB games we've ever had.
@Kestrel just don't get your hopes to high, they did the bare minimum tbh just some random particles here and there and slightly high rez
Well at least switch DB fans get something since we didn’t get Sparking Zero 😔 I hope it releases on Switch 2 or whatever it’s called tho
@Nua
Thanks
That is good news.
Sparking Zero is out Bandai, you can move on from these mid games
How much will this cost now?
I have Kakarot and all the DLC already...
Did they not give a date for the Kakarot DLC or did I miss it?
So no reason for me to get Sparking Zero then, got it.
