We've got our next Arcade Archives title hitting the eShop tomorrow, and it's 1985's bumper car arcade game Motos.
This is the last of seven games to run on Namco's Super Pac-Man hardware while sharing a video system used in games like Mappy, Dig Dug II, and — last week's Arcade Archives addition — The Tower of Druaga.
It's a pretty simple game where you control a bumper car and attempt to push enemies off of the edge of a stage while they try and do the same to you. You can collect upgrades that let you jump or make your bump power stronger, but you can only select these either between levels or if you lose a life. There are 62 stages for you to push your way around in, so there's plenty of addictive arcade pushing and shoving to get your hands on.
Here's the arcade release of the game in motion.
Motos will be $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 and you'll be able to download it from the eShop tomorrow, 9th June. Another one to add to the collection!
Have you played Motos before? Let us know in the comments.

I have this in a Namco Museum collection for PSP, and it's pretty good.
on first glance, it's a game that looks like it'll be fun for a few minutes. but, it's got a lot of that "okay, one more try" energy.
I have pretty much moved on to Evercade for my fix for classics. I was into ACA for a while but it's been too heavy on the 80's games and most of them haven't exactly been the highlights lately either. For $8 a pop it's just not worth it for me, hasn't been for a long time.
I've played this on C64. Instead of a loading screen, it had a different game to play while the real game loaded.
A Pacman version of this is included in Pacman Museum+. Same game I think, just with a different skin.
Never heard of it, but the gameplay hook is pretty neat.
'Mofos' would have been a catchier name.
I’ve seen this on older collections, including Pac-Motos on the recent Pac-Man Museum. I’ll have to give that a try now, if I’ve unlocked it.
