Topic: Any Americans here preordering NS2 outside of US?

Just curious to know if anyone in the US will or has preordered the NS2 in some form (family member outside US, third party vendor, or online store). Looking for a way to preorder this week. I honestly don't want to pay possibly $100 more for the NS2 due to Trump tariffs. Thanks.

Yes, I’ve definitely thought about this but I don’t know the best way to go about it. Even if I don’t get it right after launch, I want to save some money and avoid the tariffs.

I have taken steps to procure a Switch 2 from a certain European site that was accepting registrations for email invites and ships to the US.

I did the same in the US on the MyNintendo Store but... always hedge your bets, as they say.

In a launch period I feel ordering from another region is similar to being a scalper. One is taking limited stock from users in their home region to benefit themselves. So I won’t do that. I will contribute to the economy I live in.

I got my preorder in. Stock has flickered in and out, sometimes restricting shipping to US, other times allowing it. I posted in the Switch 2 thread when I got my preorder in and left links for everyone but it was sold out a few minutes later.
