Here is question. Of all the monsters in MH3, which you have as a pet? I would want a pet Lagiacrus.

(Followed closely by Rathalos.)

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, would you kindly?

Well that question was random...lol. I dunno, probably none of them, considering that they will try to kill me instantly, lol.

He's really easy trust me. Just runaway and dodge his attacks a lot. This creature is like preparation for the future Monsters.

@pixelman Rudroth truly is one of easiest monsters. Fire is is weakness and his weak points are his spongy mane and soft underbelly.

leave him alone when he's shaking off the mud

No! Leg it in there and try to get underneath him, you can get loads of hits while he is doing his mud-dance. If you do get hit by mud, just take some Cleanser quick and no harm done. 50/50 success rate, but worth the risk

More like 1/50. I've tried this on about 5 Barroths and not once have I not gotten hit by mud. Right underneath his legs and body, BAM! mud. Your advice there is incorrect and if you by chance never get hit by the mud your one lucky son of a...

No, he's right. I hardly ever get hit by his mud.

He's not "right" about anything. I sort of proved him wrong.
I'm not trying to make him feel bad but I tried his hypothesis and proved him wrong. Maybe it's just me and the other 10,000 players online...

Wow, whatever. Heck, one time I had a full party and we all attacked him and no one got hit by the mud.

You all got out of the way?
You all sure weren't under him. And trust me I've had a full party and we didn't get hit by mud neither.

Yep, I took him down on my second try (first try I was just checking him out.) It's crazy how many monster parts you need to forge armor. Gee whiz. D:

I beat the Barroth in Arena mode without getting hit by mud.

It's not hard to not get hit by mud. I just find it hard to believe these stories of being underneath him and not getting hit.
But like I said maybe it's just me and my terrible luck.

@Chrono_Got_Cross: I'm sorry it doesn't work for you (not), but it works for me. Are you suggesting I just made it up?

Anyway, enough petty banter. I haz a question...

About the shipping fleet. How do you get them to three-star status? I've finished the single player but the useless fishermen are still stuck on one-star. Occasionally they go up to two-star, but only temporarily. What am I doing wrong? Help me! D:

The mud is a lie!!!! It isn't even real!!!!!

@ Machu - Make rare trades with the Trade Chap for oar/Paddles, or whatev they called. Read the description of the items and the ones you need will tell you that they upgrade the fleet.

Aha! Thank you! Which brings me back to a question I asked earlier in the thread. Where the flap are all the Rare Commodities? D:

Nevermind, I'll be patient, and trade the next few Rare Commodities wisely (if and when I find 'em).

edit: just did some googling and apparently I'll get them if I do more free-hunting in Moga Woods. Sorted!!!
