I got a Rathian plate after I didn't need one anymore.

Yeah, spent a day or two...maybe even more for 2 Rathalos Tails...as soon as I finish that up and complete the armor set, I started to get them easily. XD

This whole "give up on it and you shall receive" thing is the truth. Got my Rathalos Plate after deciding, well, I don't need the bowgun that much. Then I got the Plate in my first quest. o_o

I don't like the whole 'harvesting' thing (yawn), just like to hunt and then make what i can. I don't even look at the stuffs on the item screen.

ive search every window in the game vieuwed the help info and killed every monster on defferent ways

I need some dragon weapons. What are some good ones and how can I get them? I mostly like long swords and great swords.

Alaterons I believe is the best gs dragon weapon.

How do I unlock it? I fought ala but I don't see a GS for him.

The best weapon is the Alatreon Gleam (Lance), somehow, but any Alatreon weapon has amazing Dragon element. If you can get any Ancientshards/Rustshards weapons (the rusted ones) and upgrade them they can give about 400-500 Dragon element but the Attack Power is weak... very, very weak... and they're either GS, Lance or SnS.

I use Eternal Strife on Jhen Mohran and it cuts through his back rock like paper. The Attack Power is 217 I think and the element is about 417.

You need a certain item from him. Not sure what it is. Just keep fighting him you will get it over time.

And ElderDragonBlood, lots and lots of ElderDragonBlood. I think you need at least 3 or 4 to get one weapon... And it doesn't appear all that often either.
