I had a quick look through the MH3 Wiki, is a Querupeco Chopper a fire weapon? I have one of those. I seem to perform better with the S&S.

Look at your status screen and it will tell you if fire is attatched to your weapon. If not it might be available in a upgrade.

Pixelman they are the swimming fish thingies that jump around in the sand area 10 and 9 I think that's where they hang out

I just play arena offline for the first time today. First time I accidently started the game while trying to click on the skull helmet. I tried it anyways (Wanted to see if I'd possibly get that helmet). Boy is my guy much slower with that. When I lost, I tried to quit so it wouldn't save (because I had not origionally intended us that weapon when i pressed that button~Even though i tried anyways.~).
I went back with that crossbow and got him extremely weak, but after 40 something minutes I fainted. when I came back I ran out of time (must have been only one or 2 minuts left).
I liked the feel of hunting with the crossbow, but it take's forever, have to constently remember to reload, and end up running your butt of most of the time. Probably better with a group.
The thing I like is that it feels (kinda) like your hunting as we do today for animals. It's kind of a differant feel from attacking with swords and such.

I got this Saturday afternoon... and I already have over 7 hours on it. That's sick! D:

Anywayz, guts quest and crystal bone quest down! I think I'll get that silly goldenfish one out of the way next.

Well, haven't gotten it yet. Maybe this weekend.

@Bell.... aye man, the whole deal with the Wii getting the Monster Hunter Tri is because all the PSP versions of the game have sold like crap outside of Japan. Monster Hunter in Japan is so flippin huge, like Mario huge believe it or not. GamesRadar has a Awesome review here....

I highly recommend ALL you to read it, as the reviewer you can tell just has Monster Hunting pouring through his veins He also know a good deal about the games history and does go into some depth of how the game came to be, etc. Basically though the extremely high userbase and the hardcore crowd screaming for better 3rd Party Games (Including Myself ) made the Wii a perfect Last Chance for the Monster Hunter Series outside of Japan. I do think it was definately the perfect choice, as the connectivity of the PSP is great but hard to sit and drop hours and hours on end online on a PSP, especially considering I dropped 26 hours this weekend just on MH Tri lol.

What a Phenominal Game though, I mean how much better can you ask of a game?

Yes those are the only two that actually effect the resources. There are Breeding conditions which could mean there will be a lot of herbivores or bugs in the area.

Question: Is it possible to change your character's name?

Alright, thanks guys...you know what's funny now though? Before when I first took on Great Jaggi I had a hell of a time killing it, now last night with the Djin sword I can take him out in like, seconds. XD

Dang it. No way am I doing 8 hours' work all over again.

@bellgoriing Yeah great jaggi is no problem now. I can kill him in seconds with my red bludgeon hammer.

I've adopted my standard strategy to be used when struggling, as I'd been having difficulty with offline Peco.

I've left it alone for a couple of days and gone back in again today.
Took him down, first time.
Financed upgrades for my peco gun, royal launcher and what I'm calling Custom Medium.
Online Hunt, I'll be back atcha come Friday, that bloody Barroth that's got me stalled at HR 8 IS going DOWN.
