@tobibra Well, me too, but I'm not expecting it to be uncensored. Seems weird to censor the trailer when we know they're willing to show a similar amount of female skin in other games. If it IS uncensored, though, I'll probably repurchase it.

@BruceCM Veronica is just hilarious. Love whoever plays her English voice. Especially when she's casting frizz, and she rolls her 'r' hard as she's calling out the attack name.

@Ralizah Well, the good/bad news is that the JP trailer was censored as well where it wasn't in their actual release, probably because the particular thing that was censored wasn't suitable for a Nintendo Direct, so we really can't take anything from that trailer either way.

@link3710 That'd seem more likely to me if the Trials of Mana trailer wasn't full of uncensored boobage in that same Direct.

I think it's more likely that the Switch version is censored in every region, since Nintendo isn't doing regional censorship anymore.

Did someone post on here about the limited run of Mary Skeltor? I am going to go to physical on several of these just because I can't afford another high capacity SD card, when I can use that to purchase roughly 2 decent games. Also, why overwatch is on my lower list because its a HUGE download, and I am not sure I want to archive that many games that I have on my switch. I really need to just break down and purchase some used copies of some of the games I have on digital just so I can free up my SD card, plus it will make my physical collection look cooler.

@Ralizah I mean, here's the thing. If they are making it the same in every region, are they really going to pull the chapter 2 censorship in Japan? That's a major story change. Even if it's partially censored there, I have trouble believing they'd go that far.

The #FE trailer also showed uncensored outfits for Tsubasa. Though that could have been old marketing materials, as the original Wii U release also featured such images in the west despite being censored.

Either way it’s a great game, and the changes, while annoying, won’t stop me from buying and enjoying it. I can only hope the JP Version is uncensored, as the site lists English as an included language. So if that’s the case, I’ll import.

I did, but ya it’s exciting stuff.

And just an FYI: 400gb cards are like, $56 on Amazon, with 512gb cards for $83 (granted that one is via 3rd party seller BUT, they have 99% feedback with 10,000 reviews). I know you could get 2 decent games for that, but that’s a decent bit of storage that you would really only have to buy once and then you’d be set... unless you’re like me and you’re now starting on your second 1TB card 😁 (and it would cover situations where physical games require downloads, and even just large updates and DLC, which are inevitable).

@JaxonH You're on your second 1TB card?! For Switch? Rather than ask what games you have, I think it might be easier to ask, "Are there any major releases you haven't bought?"

How much was your 1TB card? I've been waiting for the price to drop down to the 100-120 dollar range.

I honestly don't know what games to get on Switch because there's too much and I have so little time. I'm really tempted by witcher 3, but I'm loaded with coursework so that's going to have to wait until next summer for sure. I'm on a tight budget so the next two months or so the only game I can see myself getting is probably Pokemon. I really do hope there are some black friday sales, I just need to get a micro sd card now.

This is cool, the new CTR update added a new cup featuring tracks not yet used for a cup:

From the looks of this we may get a 2nd cup next month with:

Yeah, I love all the characters so far, @Ralizah .... & expect to like the rest, too It'll get tricky having to choose the party when I have too many, though

Well, the 1TB would come close to lasting all gen if I only did physical carts + only digital games that aren't sold physical. I've used up about 500-600gb going that route. But since I switched to all digital of only the best games, I've got about exactly 1TB of top shelf shelf digital games.

I snagged 3 of them for about $330/ea (2 for main Switch, one is kept in Nyko kickstand), and 1 for Switch Lite.

Just between Witcher 3 (28gb), Final Fantasy X/X-2 (27gb), LA Noire (27gb), Mortal Kombat XI (24gb), Resident Evil Revelations 2 (23gb), DOOM (21gb), Wolfenstein 2 (21gb) that's like 170gb. So ya, space gets eaten up real quick with digital.

If I get TW3, it'll be physically. Can't justify eating up that much space on my card. ESPECIALLY when the devs went and shelled out for 32GB carts.

@Ralizah yea physical is the way to go on that game considering they went above and beyond putting it all on one cart. I'll grab this in November or December.

Just went and nabbed guacamelee 2 on sale this morning. Absolutely loved the first one. October is really shaping up to be quite packed for me. Playing thru ori, Ghostbusters, guacamelee 2, and soon to be LM3 and Disney classic collection. The only question is... yooka laylee and the IL, or a hat in time? Do we know a price point for a hat in time? The other games im eyeing are Re triple pack or into the dead 2. Never played into the dead. Gameplay looks good but never even heard about it or it's prequel prior to recently. Anyone play the series before?

We now have a release date for one of the few September Direct games without a release date, Return of the Obra Dinn launches October 18th.

Witcher 3 physical is a must, given the entire game + both expansions + all DLC is on a 32gb cart with extra tat included.

But it's also a game I want access to 24/7, and that means digital for me as well.

@JaxonH I'm pretty sure other devs will be watching Witcher 3's sales closely. If it does well then it tells them people prefer everything on the cart meanwhile if it doesn't it tells them people are ok with the partial download.
