But anyway, I think these edited scenes look strictly better than their direct feed counterparts. When you have a swirling vortex of pure darkness, it shouldn't be faded when you look at it off in the distance. It should be, well, dark.
Similarly, snowy mountains don't have an aura that darkens the sky to an ugly gray-greeen malaise. The snow gif looks so much better now that the entire shot isn't the same color.
Link and the bokoblin both draw back their bows, Link fires his fire arrow, the arrow strikes the bokoblin, enveloping him in flames and causing him to release his bowstring, and the arrow flies across the divide, set alight by the fire arrow Link fired in the first place.
I didn't notice this before. The physics in this game are unreal!
Also, unrelated, I hope you can plant acorns and grow trees.
It continues to bother me how stupid most of the people playing really play. A lot of people I've seen videotaped with a hands on make me wonder how they ever even finish a remotely challenging game.
What I want to see tried is the aerial attack from the korok leaf (I expect a big swoosh of wind pushing enemies back in a fromtal cone) and rolling logs onto a campfire / brush fire to see if they catch on fire.
Then rolling the flaming logs down a hill to burn it and wreck some bokoblins.
Off-TV play had been confirmed previously!
Hopefully this game will actually be playable like that. Xenoblade X was an absolute mess on a small screen.
I'm pretty sure this was never posted yet. In June, IGN got to interview Bill Trinen over the new Zelda, and they asked him a few questions.
At around the 20:30 mark, Bill discusses a bit more about the villages and NPCs in the game. While it's mostly stuff we already know, he does elaborate a bit more on it. I think it's worth giving the thing a watch, that is, if you haven't already.

I think it's more people experimenting and having fun. There was no real goals in the one demo other then to see what you could do.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
They said there isn't going to be an overarching overworld theme for this one, unlike all the other Zelda games. Instead, there'll just be a more dynamic and subtle usage of music in its place, such as light piano sounds mixing in with the environment. Which I'm okay with. It's fits well with the tone of the game.
Mmmmmmmeeeeeeeeh. As long as there's still epic music in there somewhere. I mean I loved Skyward Sword. But the one thing I think most people can agree on is that its orchestrated soundtrack was fantastic. Or at least a step above the older games. I want that same epic feeling in this game
But if you know you want to climb that wall, just about don't make it, and moving three steps to the right puts you the right amount higher, yet you still manage to try and fail three bloody times, well...
Or walking left. Right. No left. A bit right. Down the hill. Start surfing only HALF WAY.
On the other hand, I'd be moving around to get a feel for links responsiveness in movement too. But some of that stuff is just... Well...

Agreed. I can live with there being no overworld music (I do agree that the sound/nature cues suit it more), but there better be some epic music moments in the game.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet - The Indigo Disk, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
For as lofty of a title as Skyward Sword professed to be, it sure did run its soundtrack into the ground. Listening to the sky theme now is a nails-on-a-chalkboard level aural offense. I'm glad Breath is at least dodging that particular bullet.
Luckily, it isn't taking the whole Witness approach.
Lmao, that dumb game. Line puzzles aren't good puzzles. Not for a whole game.
Look how much better the jump attack is for 2H claymores. With a sword or axe it's just this awkward double jump that's much less fluid than the old jump attack, but with the 2H sword it's this sick midair flip that wrecks dudes.
