2: Link's sword is HUGE. WHY? A big sword for big enemies? Lol did our boy Link go back in time and get the Biggoron sword from Ocarina of Time for Zelda U? There has to be a reason why he's carrying that huge sword.
/facepalm
Or he just got a new one from the current gorons...
The NX is going to be delayed to Holiday 2017 you heard it here first, also It should be pretty obvious what my favorite game of all time is cough Skyward Sword cough
My first thought when seeing this 5 second film was; "How big is this game going to be? 15GBs with 13GBs just being grass?"
There is honestly a lot going on here. I just hope there won't be a framerate drop from all the moving objects at once.
I get the impression that cell-shaded graphics have a lower impact on the CPU. Therefore, they're able to use that power for better animation and more moving objects, even on Wii U. I remember them saying something similar in an interview.
Presumably Zelda U, as it seems to be going for more realistic item carrying. Hopefully not, though. That would be a grossly poor takeaway from ALBW.
i wouldnt mind a carrying capacity, then that means youd have to pick and choose what to take away from a dungeon and youd probably have an item storage back at home base, it would add to the treasure hunting aspect.
@iKhan: Um, no. in the game awards footage, like swings his sword with a simple button press. I think he's right-handed because he's SS Link...
wasnt skyward sword link ambidextrous? from what i remember he weilded his sword in whatever hand the player chose to hold the wii remote, cause at the beginning it asks you if youre right or left handed. and you can techiqually play wii U games with either the wii remote or the game pad, so it stands to reason it would work the same, you choose what hand you hold the wii remote and thats the hand link swings the sword.
@keife191: Um, no, I'm pretty sure he isn't ambidextrous and they don't ask for your preference... I really doubt they'd let you use a wiimote, and I don't know why anyone would want to. Gee I can shake this thing instead of pressing b, whoopdy freakin do.
Well, techincally all of them. You can't carry infinite bombs, arrows, etc.
Yah, technically, but that's not what I mean. I mean a number, which applies to all of your great, meaning you'd have to decide whether to take your bow or your Megaton hammer, and make multiple trips from a dungeon to carry all of the loot. Which is both a good and bad thing.
@Haru17, I haven't gotten that impression so far. Just because major items get displayed on the horse doesn't mean everything has to. I know this doesn't thoroughly disprove it, but didn't Link have 100 arrows in the gameplay trailer?
@Morpheel: Just think about it. He's right handed even though there is no wii controls. His hair is longer, which could just be a design choice, but it could show that some time has passed for SS Link. He and Zelda decide to stay in Hyrule and watch over the Triforce, and thus he has a untamed, vast land to explore. I know it's a stretch but it does kinda make sense, no?
