I've analysed it and the main thing I could discern was that it's noway near release.

with the sword so big do you hink that hints at a sword crafting or upgrading feature where you can augment certain features of your sword at the expence of others? like longer reach but slower attack etc. or do you think theyre saying youll have multiple weapons to switch through and each has its own strengths and weaknesses like the master sword and the biggoron sword from OoT

and as a side thought, you think linkle will make an appearance in zelda wii U as a gender choice when you start the game??? (if so im sure we can figure a better name )

Alright... let's dissect what we saw..... Here are the two big questions:
1: Why is Link wearing a hood? Is he hiding from someone or trying to his identity from monsters? People? Is he wearing a hood only because it looks cool? Nah, there has to be a reason for it....

2: Link's sword is HUGE. WHY? A big sword for big enemies? Lol did our boy Link go back in time and get the Biggoron sword from Ocarina of Time for Zelda U? There has to be a reason why he's carrying that huge sword.

At least they bothered mentioning it, likely to assuage fears that the game was canceled. What I'm most curious about is what the Wolf Link amiibo will be used for in this game.

By the end of the game, you'll have a sword twice as big as Link.

Yeah, I really like this look. In previous videos it just seemed like a 3D Zelda game. It looked really good, and I was fine with that but it was kinda expected. This is a bit more interested and stylized and I like that a lot.

I predict a late-game mechanic where Link uses the sword as a pole vault.

It may not be 100% high-def realistic, especially in still shots, but the animation is so clean and fluid, yet with everything behaving individually, and there's so much detail, with light behaving every way it should, and the landscapes are so gorgeous, and the sunsets, and the hills and mountains, and the bright vivid colors are all so breath-taking that definition doesn't matter anymore. Maybe we'll get Wii U tech demo graphics in the next installment, but for now, I'm really enjoying this.

I prefer this style tbh.
