I'm not against the idea of asking for more variety in design, but asking for skin color becomes too political and is generally not that constructive for some people.
I wasn't asking for, or at all advocating anything. Again, just musing. Assume what you will, but your initial assumption was inaccurate as to my motives, or more accurately, lack thereof.
And if you want to talk about something other than race then bring up something other than race. Otherwise the discussion will be all like; 'Gorons are all like "goro goro" and zoras talk like "..." 'cause they're frozen, ha!'
So when do you guys think were going to hear more on Zelda. At a direct aimed for next Month or do they go on full Radio silence till E3 using it to end their return to a normal E3 press event.
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.

Well, I think we'll get a Nintendo Direct next month just for some PR, because of the bombshell news that we received a few days ago. But as far as Zelda info, I wouldn't be upset if they kept a tight seal on it until E3.

Silence till E3. I was already surprised when they showed that gameplay footage during the Game Awards. I think it's something they want to save for E3, the first official trailer, then more news will slowly follow until the game releases.
It's not like Twilight Princess was exactly like its first trailer presented it.
Well that's true. But I meant that it gave us all "oohs" and "ahhs". You know? It felt magical to have it shown to us for the first time in a trailer. I feel they take away a little bit of that magical announcement moment when we already know that the game exists and have seen it in action already.
I like seeing how the game is progressing, but I think there's something to be said for being absolutely floored when you see the trailer for a game you thought was coming but it wasn't confirmed.
There are already many different races in the world of Zelda.
True. There's been some already listed. I'd love to see them branch off into more indepth factions within each race. After all, I hope we get more than one "town" for each race. I'd love to see multiple towns. Iono. Maybe I'm dreaming, but if Aonuma stated that he wants to address multiple ways to solve puzzles, I don't see why dialogue and lore can't be involved in that. [If that makes any sense]
There were hints here and there and everywhere, but since they are a ninja-like clan, I'd imagine that no one has seen them for awhile. They can still be out there in large numbers

I would enjoy that as well. I know we have been limited to one village/town per race for the most part in the past, but it would be great if there were a big Goron city, as well as various little Goron settlements here and there. Just as an example.
And mixing of the races in the sense that Gorons live in Hylian towns, and some Hylians live with the Zoras, etc. That would be cool too. Mix it up a bit.
But why not expand upon that? Why not have towns that have different kinds of Zoras. Towns that have friendly Gorons and xenophobic Gorons? Granted, I haven't read through all 80+ pages of this thread, but the common thought throughout people I've talked to is that this will probably take place after SS. Whether or not there is a Hyrule Castle, why not have differing Hylians? Or if it does take place before the unification of Hyrule I'm curious to see if there are Hylian towns that have issues with one another (I haven't read any of the apocryphal comics, so I don't know if that is a thing or not). I guess where I'm getting at is that I'd love for this game to really expand upon the lore of Hyrule. It doesn't have to be in the foreground of the game, but... they have the hardware to do it.

Right, that's what I was trying to get at. It'd be great if Hyrule actually had it's own culture and politics rather than being your kind of generic shell of a medieval fantasy world that's in place purely to serve the story. The very best video game worlds feel like they already existed and you just happen to be passing through them.
