@Meowpheel I would hope it's not often raining in the Gerudo Desert!

@Tsurii Everything breaks free of my stasis in like a second! I still don't dare take on a Lynel with my 24-30 dmg range weapons though. And how on earth are you affording all those arrows!?

@Maxz I think I have maybe 60 or 70 korok seeds, 2 weeks in I must be very bad at finding those puzzles, and I avoid most of the archery ones since I don't want to waste the expensive arrows. Got up to 1400 rupees though, so there's that! I've maxed out my slot upgrades anyway until I eventually make my way to the Korok Forest...someday. I have Akkala and the Gerudo desert (and the wasteland tower. Still have the 5 upper west towers to do. Did a bunch of shrines, maybe 40 or so. I'm scavenging rocks in the desert for ruppees now. i found a gold rupee under a random rock in the middle of nowhere...there has GOT to be more!

Anyone else experience rain when there aren't any clouds in the sky? It's weird.

I also see bulls spawn on the beach and sandbanks sometimes. You'd think they'd like a less tropical area with more grass. Maybe they swam there? lol.

@Tsurii Ahh....never really bothered with metal crates! What do you use to break them? Do bombs work? Swords just glance off them.

I've at one point had 90 arrows, mostly from the trail up to Zora's domain with a lot of lizalfos dropping arrows for me. But between hunting, fighting, and stupid arrow puzzles they go fast! I've resorted to Beedle's arrows once or twice, but he's such a ripoff! $45 for 10? Everyone else charges $20 for 5! I bought a few Cold Darners off him and hated myself for doing it

I need to find a way to make money and selling food for $30 a pop and burning through my healing resources that way makes me uncomfortable And yeah I found the gambling den but...I just can't get myself to take the risk! And I hoard all my ingredients "in case I might need them!" They go fast enough making healing/buffing supplies!

@Nicolai Not that weird, it's called a sunshower in our world. Though no clouds is a bit of a stretch, also it continues to rain for a bit when transitioning to sunny weather.

Speaking of nonstop rain in and near Zora's domain, I noticed an odd quirk where reaching the tower seemed to make it stop instantly, even though the forecast called for rain as far as it could see.

Alone, a force. Together, a force of nature.

@Tsurii I've been carrying a hammer on me (just broke though...) but I sometimes end up ditching it, and ditched my axe long ago...only a few precious weapon slots, and I keep finding really good swords (flameswords, ancient swords, etc.) in shrines so I ditch things to keep stocking on them. Inventory is really too limited without really stocking up on slot upgrades from Hestu. Since it looks like the forest will be one of the LAST places I go, that will have to tide me over

I've been doing a lot of bomb mining though. I seem to track down all the stuff (or most of it, anyway) just fine! I only break out the hammer when I'm sneaking around a Hinox that's sleeping near the ore deposits!

@Octane Ooh that's a good idea! I'm successful in dropping things on my head that way but I'll give it a try!

There's a shrine with a golfing type mini game where you gotta knock the key ball over water. And it is very frustrating if you choose to do the optional chest version. I broke both my sledgehammers

@Octane @NEStalgia Dropping them is effective, but slightly quicker (and a lot more satisfying) is smashing them yourself rather than letting gravity do the work. Lift them a bit above the ground, then give the controller a quick downwards flick and they go KA-SMASH. I use the metal crates to smash all the wooden ones first, and then smash the metal crates into each other to finish for massive combo goodness.
Bombs do work, but are messy.

@Operative2-0 Yeah, that second stage with the hidden chest is tough. In fact, I don't think it's even possible using the sledgehammer while the ball is on the pedestal. No matter how good your aim is, you either hit too far or not far enough. My technique was to pick up the ball, move it away from the pedestal. and hit it from there. But it took a lot of sledgehammers. I saved the game in the shrine, and then would just reload after every failed attempt. It's still one of my favourite shrines though. The whole concept of sledgehammer golf is brilliant.

I find it very fun, even if I suck at it, haha. Smart thing about saving though, I really should use more common sense. For example, another shrine that required a laser hitting a lever to raise the water level. I didn't even realize I could just use cryonis to cross over. And then use bomb arrows.

At least in Spanish they're identified as water buffalos.

They like being around water.

Did that labyrinth isle in north Akkala, where i killed my third Guardian! Nice to start the Barbarian Set with the head. I finally managed to upgrade to 2 stars that piece and also the chest of the Climbing Set. Now all i have is at 2 stars! Now since i'm done with Akkala i started Death Mountain but with my time left i was just able to reach the tower and reveal the map. Tomorrow i'll start explore

Little question for people how did Death Mountain: standing near lava and things like that can make me get fire and take almost constant damage. Is there a way to prevent? Or do i just have to avoid this zones?

That moment when you are hunting a guardian but a bunch of horse riding bokoblin show up with shock arrows. Then the guardian sees you. Sigh. Danger, danger, abort, abort!

There's a piece of armor that reduces guardian damage, barely, and the game immediately starts aiming 4 guardian lasers the second you open the chest as if the tiara is going to save you from 4 lasers let alone barely 1, it was hilarious

@FGPackers there should be a stable near there where people give information on what you need and some may even sell you potions as well. (Also I believe there is a picture in the stable that shows the ingredients for the potion)
