Ouch. Oh well don't worry about it, by the time he sells the good stuff you'll probably have tons of monster parts again.

Ha, typical. Ah well, back to farming it is. And at least I've still got my jellies...

Same as in english.

Monni is great though. It would've worked perfectly in Spanish too (that's how the English word "money" sounds like in Spanish).

Who all is using the pro display? I previously had it off and on, but maybe as a way to prolong my playtime and also add a bit of a challenge, I decided to always keep it on and I'm generally trying to not use the map at all along with rarely using fast travel. It's kind of fun to try and find my way just with talking to locals, using landmarks and the sun for direction, etc. I have gotten lost a couple times though
Still, I really enjoy how you pretty much can find a lot of things without the need of a map. People often mention to you about notable things in the surrounding area and give hints to certain objectives so having a map isn't even necessary.

I'm using pro, but I always fast traveled and I'm using the map a lot at this point, having charted every region but Faron and gone to every region but Central Hyrule.

Game is too big.

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

@Maxz,

Are you sure? I have the Wii u version and there it is as followed:

up: Rune selection
left: Armor selection and Arrows selection
right: Weapon selection and Bow selection
down: Whistle

Read what the prize is for collecting all 900 Korok Seeds. From now on i think i'll grab them just to increase equip slots...it is pretty disappointing...

I initially though that too. However, the equipment slots do turn out to be very useful the more you progress through the game, and the enemies get tougher. (there would be zero point if the weapons weren't breakable, and I agree, it would have been nice to get something more special from it) but I'm not gonna sniff at weapon slots though, because they definitely do become very helpful!

Another way to help yourself with weapons is to do that sidequest with buying the house from Bolson in Hateno village.[/spolier] (it costs 3000 rupees though, but after that you can [spoiler] buy storage slots from him to store in that house, so is a good place to stash the better weapons that you find along the way when you don't want to risk breaking the really important weapons on lesser important enemies just because you only have a limited amount of slots)

Is there a way to stop the Yiga Clan members from spawning every 5 minutes? It's getting pretty annoying... I kinda wish I didn't do that quest at all...

@GoronBrudda Infact i said i'm going to collect them just for weapon slots. What i meant is that i'll collect the max that i can, but i'll never try to go for 900. Now i have 120+ in bag and still have to reach Korok Forest, but i'm managing weapons with slots i was able to buy and i'm fine for now

@yokokazuo I started playing Pro but i noticed that map is very much needed in the long way, since the world is so big. It was not a problem of getting lost, it was more a "map quantity" matter

Time for some news about my gameplay, and this is a quite big: almost done with Akkala. I need just to go to the researcher point, then i'll go for another zone. First of all while exploring i was close enough to see the Divine Beast on Death Mountain, and i think that will be really nice to do when i'll reach it. Got some Korok Seeds and did a couple of Shrines, now i'm one away from 11th Hearth. Beat my first StalHynox, funny how he was taking his ribs away to use them as a weapon! While exploring i found another memory, the 11th if i remember well, at the Strength Pool (when Zelda is in the Strength Pool, in the water, wondering if she is doing enough). Found for the first time Kilton, now i have to search him in other villages to see what he can sell and because of a quest about him, and i took it in the East Akkala Stable, from a soldier. Last but not least: I FINALLY BEAT MY FIRST GUARDIAN!!! It was pretty tough, but i was able to counter shield a ray and then, after 3-5 misses i started swinging, broke some of his legs and then i finished him! It was so much intense and satisfying that i found another Guardian right there and kill it too! This time i fought it with a two-handed sword and i was even able to put it upside down, and he was unable to attack me while i finished it!!! This game is clicking much more everytime i play it!!!

Just finished the Forgotten Temple challenge. 11 guardians in a row: brutal. I bagged two at the same time with the shield parry though which felt pretty sweet. Hope I collected everything before I left as I'm not going back in a hurry.

I've given up farming for gems when needing cash. Jelly hunting is much easier. Chuchus are everywhere, don't damage your weapons very much and their jelly drops are pretty handy. They can be used as bombs (fire, ice or electric), or sold for 10 rupees apiece when upgraded (the standard jellies are worth 5 rupees). Considering each Chuchu usually drops 5 jellies (50 rupees) and they mostly attack in twos or threes, farming them is an easy way to make money.

I prefer Bokoblin fangs for selling myself. Both regular and Stal versions drop them, they're everywhere and can generally sustain yourself with the weapons they drop, and they (fangs) sell for 8 rupees.

Alone, a force. Together, a force of nature.

I finally managed to reach the researcher point in Akkala and used the blue fire to turn it on. When i can i'll try to get some mats to get the Ancient Armour Set. Now i need only to do the big isle in north Akkala (the one with a Shrine that seems a kind of labyrinth), then i'm done with that and start a new zone!

I might have screwed myself over by doing a certain challenge with a certain korok very fast...

I haven't looked up the reward for getting every Korok seed, but the reaction doesn't seem overwhelming. Which I think is a good thing. I don't really think the game expects you to track down every last one. They're there to spice up the landscape - even the weird bits in the middle of nowhere that you accidentally stumbled across from chasing a bit of ore that fell off the side of the cliff. The weapon slots themselves are reward enough (and lord knows they're necessary). I've got 200 and I thought I was doing well. I can't imagine tracking down another 200. The requirements for the main weapon slots are getting mega steep now. It's 55 seeds for my next weapon slot. So I think I'm going to focus on my much neglected bows and sheilds. There's not nearly as much variation in their uses though, so I haven't felt the need to hoard them for certain events.

In other news, I found the final Great Fairy while following a side quest. Say what you will about the side quests, they can point you in some
pretty useful directions. I also finally pieced the map together, which was satisfying. I'm going to miss the tower climbing puzzles, but it's satisfying staring at a full screen.

Still need to do the Rito section though. 90 shrines, 200 Korok seeds, and... still haven't saved Hyrule. I guess you can see where my priorities lie.

The korok seeds would be a good achievement if the console had a system in place. Not really necessary but there for those who really want to 100% the game

@Maxz I've been saying since the game came out Gannon is going to destroy Hyrule while Link is running around cooking, hunting, looking for seeds and climbing everything.

The badges and stuff are pretty much just the game's answer to achievements.

Although it didn't annoy me that much before, the rain is really starting to annoy me now. I really don't like to use fast travel and prefer to walk and climb everywhere but the game gave me no choice today. I was stuck in this valley area with non stop rain. I slept a few times after making a camp but it would still be raining when I woke up so I could never escape this area. I finally gave in and fast traveller out but hater myself for doing so after...

@Tsurii Did you go to the home of the koroks? If not I don't want to spoil. There is this time challenge where you have get to the goal within 5 min with you Korok equipment on. The thing is, I did this very very fast using speed potions and gliding and what not. But it seems you can keep on earning 100 rupees by breaking your "record", which now seems impossible... haha.

@MrMeow13 valley area... I hope you don't mean near Zora's domain because you might have to wait another 100 years over there for it to stop raining.
