To be fair, the switch's pro controller feels amazing in the hands. The WiiU's had kinda short handles, and the glossy finish was just asking for scratches.
Weird, I always liked the look of the Switch Pro Controller over the Wii U Pro Controller. In fact, I didn't see a point in it considering the GamePad was just fine and even felt better at times...
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
@Yosheel Well the GC controller still plays like a GC controller and analog triggers is the only advantage it has over the Switch Pro Controller. It would also allow games like Super Mario Sunshine to be possible on Switch.
Why ruin other controllers with unnecessarily mushy/awkward buttons that won’t benefit any game besides a few hypothetical GameCube titles and maybe the random racing game.
(And specifically a special edition of the controller made for a game that doesn’t use or benefit from analog triggers)
@Knuckles-Fajita I agree about how light it felt, that's the one thing I disliked. Though if they put in all the Switch tech into one of those shells, it'd quickly be my favorite controller. I hate the Switch Pro, with its weirdly solid colored handles and awkwardly translucent middle part and giant buttons. Plus the materials in general just feel all around cheaper. But the premium-feeling weight is what it nails, at least.
Masahiro Sakurai provided an explanation for what the logo represents on Smash 64's website. Intended to be simple in design, Sakurai stated that the cross represents the crossover of the various Nintendo characters and properties, while the logo's four sections reference the four-player aspect of the games.
Oh! Also, I know he's been mentioned before, but with the release date for Travis Strikes Back being announced for January, what about adding Travis Touchdown as a playable fighter?
Boosting his recognition could boost the sales of Travis Strikes Back in January immensely. Just a random thought I had.
Travis Touchdown is a great male counterpart to Bayonetta.
Both characters give me a similar feeling: They never compromise and they enjoy and embrace killing everyone stupid enough to get in their way. Bayonetta may be the coolest chick around in the videogame industry, but Travis is the coolest guy.
I hope Suda and Sora are good friends. Travis is one of my favourite modern-age non-Nintendo videogame character. I would love to have him and Phoenix Wright join the Smash roster.
(With "modern-age" I mean 3D games past the year 2000.)
