Gotta love how they didn't explicitly say it was a port. Even though it clearly uses the same fire theme.

I called it too, if only you knew my brothers, when they saw Splatoon’s Octo campaign I said “how cool would it be if this was the smash reveal? If they brought splatoon characters out then they did the reveal?”

And then when it was campaign DLC I was happy. Then I saw the last video and I went “I told you, they’d reveal it with splatoon, I swear word told you” I then screamed yes when I saw the flames in her eyes 😹

It was quite a teaser. You can tell Mario & Link were heavily shadowed as if there is still more about the game under wraps.

I think the Botw Link is the one shown.

Finally I can play as an Inkling. I love the way they announced it. The style was different enough to know that it was not just more Splatoon so it could only mean one thing.

@backup368 They could also just not have it running well enough to show the in-game graphics yet.

It might be their big Holiday game if Pokemon or Metroid aren't this year.

@Mainer82 : I certainly hope not! For new characters, sure, but I do not want to invest in another 60+ amiibo.

It sure was. Hopefully this doesn't just turn out to be some port. The logo was also styled differently from the 2014 versions.
