What if the devs are helping Big Man win these last few Splatfests because they prefer him over Shiver and Frye, so they give him all the good options and team colors?
@MrCarlos46 Frye's real problem is she is by far the least popular character of the three. Big man's been ultra popular since he was announced, and Shiver has a ton of fans too. Frye just doesn't have that following.
Played 11 matches so far. 5 of those were wins, one of them was a draw because someone disconnected before it started. And to no surprise they don’t bother putting me up against Team Morning, they always have me up against Team Night. No mirror matches or 10x battles at the of writing this.
Both Inkopolis hubs have some pretty decorations, and I’m also digging Off the Hook’s SpringFest gear. The Squid Sisters have some pretty colors in their outfits too even if they’re just retextures with eggshell headpieces. I have yet to visit Splatsville or see Deep Cut.
Honest question: what the heck is a "conch clash"? I had one today while I was playing and I had never seen it before. (Naturally I lost, so I didn't get to see the outcome.)
@Dev-N Experiences got the “Last Place at Halftime Curse” but managed to make it to second place for the final results. Morning might still have a chance, Afternoon too, but it looks as if Big Man will win once again.
Shiver wins five Splatfests in a row: "Splatfest is rigged! Shiver when I come for you, Shiver..."
Big Man wins every seasonal Splatfest and every single one since Grand Festival: "Big Man Sweep FTW!"
No offense to Deep Cut but having to see people act like that is also what makes me just shift towards the queens of Inkopolis.
I don’t think the Squid Sisters or Off the Hook even had this problem.
Ah, well. Frye is still my favorite, even if all the early-game Shiver simps are now joining the Big Man supporters and leaving us real ones to fight for Lady Onaga all alone haha! /lh
@MrCarlos46 I love both the members of off the hook (maybe because that’s the game I started with all the way back in 2017) and I picked my teams based on the the actual topic, I should do that now but three teams really does create these landslides. I am slightly partial to Marina my queen of order, however I love the synergy of personalities.
@Xenoblade-Fan The only way they could fix this is by going back to 2-team Splatfests in the next game, but that would also require an even number of idols; whether it’s reusing the Squid Sisters or Off the Hook, or having an event amount of idols in a new idol group.
