Yeah, split-screen is a big omission. All the other multiplayer titles recently have supported it and I was looking forward to split screen without having to play the gimped balloon battle mode.
Is it irony that the shy, nervous Marina currently wears the most... revealing outfit seen in Splatoon thus far (and while it's true her style isn't far off from what most Octolings wear, the chest window and highly reflective skirt stand out), or coincidence following a recently introduce long-haired fighter?
What are the exact play together ways it supports?
Can you join the room your friend is in? Is it possible to join, say, a room together online? No split screen means you both have to connect to the same room to basically be able to play it right?
And I thought two players on one console was possible in zombies?

Welcome to female characters in pop culture. The paradox is brought to you by thirsty, thirsty men.
In any case, Splatoon is now Nintendo's first (?) multiplayer game that doesn't support local play. Past handhelds did local play through wireless and multiple systems in the same way, but the Switch is also a home console and splitscreen is to be expected just like it was with ARMS. In any case Splatoon basically has the connectivity of Monster Hunter now — Monster Hunter being a game that is entirely playable in singleplayer while Splatoon's core gameplay is dependent on MP.
"Played" the new demo a little bit. I dont know. The new hub doesnt feel as lively and energizing as in splatoon. Its definitely darker and feels cramped. Doesnt feel fresh. But maybe ill come to like it more.
First it was hard to decide for the splatfest. But cake is pretty much the first thing someone (eats) so i went with that. Thats the reason we eat birthday cake and not icecream. So dont deny your birth. Be a winner and choose the cake.
@Jhena The thing people eat when they're born is milk. Which is an ingredient in both cake and ice cream, but it's more present in ice cream. And don't forget ice cream cake.
After messing around with the controls and seeing the game in action, I can't wait for the full experience later this month. How do you post those miiverse-like mssages?
@gcunit Yeah, it was like that with motion controls on the Wii U. I found it very useful, letting me adjust my center without worrying about a change in how high I held the Gamepad.
@Nicolai Well, I recently moved too and the Wii U is in its box as well. But I think you're right; Not being able to use the control stick for vertical movement. I do recall something like that. It worked for me though, that's all I remember.
