@shani No worries Shani , I wasn't aware of a player meet-up system here. I was just trying to join old Wii-U friends.
I get the notification they're playing Splatoon 2 but I just can't connect I'll investigate further and report back if I figure it out

@otterskateboard Ah ok, my bad. I assumed it's not working with a specific friend and suggested someone from here as a crosscheck. But since you're having the issue with multiple friends, that won't be necessary I guess.

@otterskateboard We need to get our splats together, ad-man. By which I mean, we should get online in some way shape or form. I keep seeing that you're logged on, but unless there's further co-operation, it's pretty much impossible to co-ordinate a game. I'm technically meant to be not playing much what study and tings, but hopefully the stars will align soon and we can get splatting.

I've been having the issue joining friends as well when I select them in the Friends option, it just says I can't join that friend, no matter who it is. What normally happens?

Edit: I looked it up, apparently you can't join them in Ranked, so maybe that's why it won't let me join

@Maxz As long as you're aware I SUCK at Splatoon, I got the game kind of late so I only reached level 11 today. XD
I can't seem to join any friends at the moment... but yeah when I figure it out... prepare to get splatted... (or significantly increase your K/D...)
Is there a record for consecutive ellipses? ...............

I'm a genius...

So the Splash Damage for Blasters seems to be RNG based a little. The only time I've managed to get it consistent is by shooting at the ground near the target. It's not too much of a difference between the Splash Damage but it seems kind of "why".

Edit: The same seems to be the case for Rollers, but possibly to a lesser extent.

@otterskateboard Are you sure it's possible to join someone in Salmon Run? Just asking, don't know it myself.

@Blue_Blur Lol I was actually just going to play one single match to afford some shoes from Splatnet, but really enjoyed using the Dual Squelcher, played another match and then you came around.
I'm actually way too tired but Splatoon just got me hooked again. ^^ Why are we never on the same team though?

@otterskateboard Unfortunately I have no way of knowing what mode they're on, as I don't have a means to really communicate with them. Hope you figure it out! I'd like to play with friends because a lot of them are online

@shani - Haha Well, at least you have some extra money now. And seriously, what are the odds that we haven't been on the same team yet? XD Hopefully soon!

I just went to an aquarium and now I have a whole new appreciation for the puns in this game that goes beyond "Wow, that's an aquatic animal, and squids are aquatic animals."

For example, moray eels are long, flat creatures, and you know what stage has long, flat (albeit on an incline) platforms? Moray Towers.
