@JaxonH Yeah. The framerate is the big thing, I think. I don't mind so much going from high to super low graphics, since the core visual identity of a game is typically preserved regardless, but TW3 just feels janky on Switch (and probably all last gen consoles) after playing it at double the framerate on PC. It's actually the biggest thing that has kept me from buying Hyrule Warriors DE: I know for a fact that the framerate being different between docked/portable would annoy the hell out of me.
It's good the implementation of cross-platform save transfers is quick and painless here.
RE: log ins, I've had some bad experiences on PC with games requiring the player to log in to external services before playing and messing up, which has made me grouchy about the whole thing. And, just as a matter of principle, I feel like console games should work without requiring log-ins if the core, single-player portion of the game doesn't require constant internet connectivity. It also makes me wonder about their longevity: once Ubisoft is done and dusted as a company, will copies of Gods and Monsters be broken on systems they've never been played on before?
I'll make a point of trying to avoid the account thing altogether, but, if it's not possible, I won't mind too much if it just never becomes a factor again. Still, I don't know my Uplay information, and I really don't care to reset my password or something to play a game on my Switch, so we'll see what happens
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
I agree on principle, it’s just not something I care about too much since, from my perspective at least, it’s all handled automatically, and it’s not stopping me from playing off-line, and giving me benefits, so ya, can’t pretend to be too upset or anything. But I get the argument from principle, totally.

Just got this game. Something very dodgy about having to sign up for an account for a single player game, and refuses to let me call my account ‘I hate Ubisoft’
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
Got it saturday on sale at Best Buy. In some ways it's a bit more charming than I expected (I had low expecations). However, I am surprised the character's gameplay animation is a bit rougher than I expected. Granted, Nintendo has spoiled us with the level of polish in their games. edit: the game is good, though.
My brother is hooked on this game on his Lite now. And he’s not as big of a switch fan as I am. So whenever I see him addicted to a game on his switch lite I know that it’s a special game. Then again, I knew that already because I’d been playing myself.

@JaxonH dude I'm already 7+ hours in! 🤣 it has that little something special zelda botw did to me where I say "just another hill to climb and get that chest." I keep saying 5 more minutes and I end up playing for another 30. I'm at the 2nd area in the game and I don't want to head to any new ones until I explore every vault and chest in the 2 current areas. Only botw did that to me. I'm never one to explore aimlessly in a game but I'm doing it here. Well worth the 30 I paid and even 60. I barely scratched the surface and I'm closing in on 8 hours. It's a great game.
So far I havent read any online review or even watched a youtube video of Immortals Fenyx Rising.
Im going out of town tomorrow for two days for some shopping and im going to buy Immortals Fenix Rising for Nintendo Switch and play it and decide for myself if the game is worth it for its light hearted humor with greek mythology. My opinion, Immortals does a better job at the whole greek gods mythology than God of War does where all you do in the God of War games is kill gods and creatures vioently.
The game has been good, but 4 hours in, I finally got the full wings(to glide), and the really game opens up (like leaving the great plateau in botw), and immortals scenery got way more gorgeous. Weird how ubisoft gives you a grand title screen after you get the full wings that glide - cool though. Definitely scratching the botw itch.
After beating botw twice a couple years ago, I searched and searched for another game that was satisfying like botw, and never found one. I concluded, I wasnt finding it, it didn't exist (that's just opinion)(i know some will have differing views). But Immortals appears to be that game that can satisfy some of that botw thirst.
The sound design of some of the enemies is pretty awesome - the flying bird monster, the rooster monster screams. I really like it.
Trying to answer @dionysos283 question above. Can anyone back me up on this? It's currently update 1.0.4. I Just got it last week, and I didn't notice pop-in like I see in NL's review video from a month ago. I'd say it looks & runs decent. The first 2 hours are on a desert-like island, which is fairly blah, but after I got the gliding wings 4 hours in, the game opens up to nice colorful environments. Like Zion says in the video review, don't expect BOTW polish, but it's still a good experience. Both youtubers BeatemUps and RGT85 have been please with their experience.
@WoomyNNYes eh I mean I see some pop up quite a bit. And its somewhat muddy at times. But, I truly don't let that bother me. You can have the best looking game ever but if it plays like garbage I want nothing to do with it. I'm willing to look past the visuals because of the gameplay honestly.
I've been playing this on my Switch handheld and haven't experienced any performance issues of any significance. I felt maybe a very slight drop in frame rate in the first "dungeon" vault (that is a large vault for story) I went into and it was really, very very subtle to my eyes. Not even remotely anything like the frame rate drops in BOTW, and even those were "eh".
@NintendoByNature, or anyone else, are you having issues with motion control in Immortals? When it's enabled in the game, while aiming or steering the camera, the camera/aim drifts, keeps turning, or floats away. The issue goes away when motion is turned off.
