I am super hyped for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. I also liked the new designs for all characters

Unfortunately, I'll probably have to wait on this and live a live since they're bunched in between strikers and xc3. Really stinks bc I do wana play day 1, but there's just not enough time.

I do like the designs of the characters so far. Really strikes a balance between the academy and timeskip designs. Bernie's haircut's so remarkably awkward, which is so in line with her character! I more or less have the same haircut!

I think the Three Hopes demo connects to Three Houses save data because whoever you name Byleth in Three Houses auto appears as the name for Byleth in Three Hopes.

Yes that is correct. Also the cutscenes are very well done and look super pretty. The games performance is alot better than previous Warriors games on the Switch, but they also toned down the graphics a little bit I think. Its not ugly, but its not as good looking as the AoC, which is a good thing because I rather have my game on on a stable frame rate. Mini map has also been improved, looks alot better and clearer to pinpoint things, less chaos. Those are my 2 cents for now. Oh and Byleth finally has a voice! He/She is finally a real character!

So is everyone playing casual or classic?

I'm playing Normal Classic.

And wow, this game is great! First time a Warriors game has actually gripped me right off the bat. That never happens with Warriors games for me.

It's the characters, the excellent gameplay and smooth moves, the depth, and the fact you lose to "yourself" initially which I'm not used to in Warriors games. Definitely countered my expectations.

Looks great on my OLED TV with mClassic and high Sharpening filter, too. Very clean and sharp.

I was always going to buy this game. It's Fire Emblem, after all. But now I'm legitimately excited playing it.

I'm playing Normal Casual, Classic works well for normal Fire Emblem where you have much more control but less so with Warriors.

Probably won't be trying this for a few days, since I'm busy with Monster Hunter and the Yurukill demo.

Are there any social simulation aspects in this like in Three Houses?

Yes. You build support just like in the main game, and presumably unlock support convos (since it has an entire menu for support levels with other characters- answering correctly builds support, as does battling with them in a map).

The game is also very story heavy. Much more so than I was expecting. It might even be more story heavy than Three Houses was, tbh.

If this is as good as it sounds, I might pick it up at launch: something I wasn't at all expecting to do.

Loved the little bit I played of the demo but I will have to put it away because I gotta finish 3Houses.

I just watched a GameXplain video and they also showed something that looked like tea time, except it wasn't tea time- it was something new. So the game definitely seems to be robust in that respect.

It kinda feels like it's structures as a Fire Emblem Three Houses game, except with Warriors combat. In the same way Persona 5 Strikers felt more like a Persona 5, this feels more like Fire Emblem Three Houses. Except it does have actual musou maps and strongholds and stuff. But everything else about it is pure Fire Emblem. You have a base camp you go back to between missions and can talk to everyone for dialog, the items you get include all the familiar stuff from Three Houses- permanent stat boost items, gold bullion, vegetables and food and flowers, etc. I'd be shocked if the game didn't let you gift items.

It has weapon classes, you upgrade your character class and promote also, and the skills you use level up and as they do, they lose less degradation in battle when used. Battalions also play a part in some way though I don't know specifics.

I'm all about the upcoming Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, but with this demo allowing 4 full chapters, I know what I'm doing to kill the time between now and June 30th. After you kill Crimson Glow Valstrax and get your fill of the advanced Quests, check out the demo. It's great.
