@Spider-Kev@FishyS The Switch version got shafted in favor for the game releasing on other platforms. If you look at the switch trailer that recently came out and compare it to the version releasing for PS5, XBOX, and PC- it's clear that Switch isn't actually the main platform anymore. The game barely runs on it and suffers visually.
Then there's the fact that the Switch version isn't getting "early access" when the other consoles/steam are, or the Deluxe version of the game with the Nap Dragon mount.
The Switch version is still coming out- but it's basically treated lower in priority compared to the other consoles. I also doubt LEVEL 5 got a dev kit for Switch 2- so I can't see there being a Switch 2 version any time soon.

Yeah, I was more thinking they didn't get an early dev kit but maybe have one now or will soon. So they could be waiting until they decide when the Switch 2 version will be coming — it doesn't need to be soon just have a date.
@VoidofLight It's real poor form how they've treated Switch players for this release. I can just buy the game on PC so it doesn't affect me directly but it feels a little dirty to be giving them money at all.
@BenAV I can kind of understand why they're hiding the switch version and sorta shafting it. The game had no direction for such a long time- and only in the last few stages of development did it actually course correct. We didn't get much in terms of gameplay or features because until late last year, they had nothing to show in that regard really due to Inafume.
This being said, I wish they would at least release pre-orders for the Switch version around the same time as the others- and actually give it an early period for access like they did with the other versions of the game. Just so that it doesn't feel like they're favoring all the other releases when the Switch one was announced first.

Level 5 must have switch 2 dev kits. Inazuma eleven releases in August which has a switch 2 version. Im hoping fantasy life is compatible with steam deck as it looks rough on switch.
I'm so excited for this game. I've been following all the videos they've been sharing showing off the various life options. I plan to get this on Switch eventually but I went with the PS5 for my first copy. The switch preorders did go live on the eShop yesterday for those who missed it.
This game was shown for Switch 2 during the Direct.

Nope.
It was PS5 version after I take a look closely the command buttons.
It shown Square, Triangle, Circle and X.
That's PS5 version, not Switch or Switch 2 version.
Take a look again.
I was considering buying a digital copy on Playstation, but then I realized that I would be unable to convince my friends to play this.

They're too into realistic graphics. Which is fine, I get it, some games look really good these days. But you miss so much if you ignore the AA and indie spaces outright.

I was referring to the Nintendo Direct.
But I just realized I was thinking of Professor Layton, not Fantasy Life i. Even so, this game running on Switch 2 will max framerates and dynamic resolution.

So, I went into my wishlist to see what games were on sale and Fantasy Life was already there.
I forgot it had a page and that I already wish listed it, but it's nice to know that if something gets removed and put back, it shows back up the way it was!
Also, the page for the game doesn't have any videos any more.
12 days and counting. I think I'll take a few days off work at the end of the month in anticipation. Hopefully my order will be in my hands by the 28th. But we'll see.
