Figure I'd post the most recent vod from back in October. Still no preorder for a physical release in the west. Most likely will be Asian territory-only physically. Kind of hate to see this get buried. It's basically Animal Crossing (town building/organizing), Dragon Quest Builders (open world), Final Fantasy XIV (gear crafting), and Diablo (action/rpg combat)...all rolled into one package.
Edit: Japan is getting a physical release. Although the store listing I posted on the previous page has been removed. So it's unknown if the Japanese release will support English or not, even though the previous store listing suggested it would. Seems as though the Japan release scheduled page is currently being updated at the time of this post.
My issue is the release date at this point. I have rune factory on preorder and I know I will still be working on assassins’ creed. So this just went to the back burner. Oh well I will get it eventually.

I'm actually considering maybe picking this one up on Steam? The game looks far more polished, and it has some pretty interesting ideas. Really like how they're making Deep Dungeons, and the Open World looks cool. I just wonder if they're using Generative Ai or not, like with other Level 5 games. We know Holy Horror Mansion's entire trailer was Generative Ai, and that Decapolice is going to use it (albeit mostly for procedural generation). The art for this new Fantasy Life doesn't seem to really show signs of Ai, so maybe this game is untouched by it?

Whom here will have to get the Physical version? I will get this and don't want to pay the eShop for a game they cancelled for Western markets. This pisses to high heaven for them doing this.
It's insane that Inafume was the whole reason for why this game got delayed time and time again. According to Hino's blogpost on the game, a majority of the features that are being advertised now were added back in Late 2024, after Inafume left the company. That means that the original game they were going to release before Hino took over was just going to be everything they showed when Inafume was presenting it. No open world, and no deep dungeons.

Really don't like the things im hearing about this games development. Im kinda worried its not going to deliver. But Its still probably my most anticipated release of the year. Please don't mess this up level 5.
@Commandervide0 I feel like it's in better hands now due to Inafume leaving the production of the game. That, and how the devs are listening to feedback and being transparent about the game's status. It seems like it's also reusing a lot of code and mechanics from games like Snackworld in order to make sure the game can still come out on time and in a way that works properly.
My thinking is that what they decided to do was refine a lot of the mechanics that were already there, as well as fix them depending on the criticism. Most of the Open World stuff was probably developed in the span of a couple of months, and the deep dungeons were basically just a feature taken from Snackworld outright.
