Honestly, while Capcom's thing wasn't much, at least it wasn't drawn out. I think it's leagues better than most of the other presentations, but at the same time it's not as good as the Microsoft one.

@Slowdive I don't even either and I'm probably still not going to get one because I have a perfectly good PC but despite most of my intrigue being in the games that were after 2021, it's the only conference where it looked like they were actually trying to make a good impression lol

@Dogorilla Robot Chicken >>>>>>>>>> Puppets. Really, everything about E3 2014 was better than E3 2015 (of course that doesn't say much because 2015 was trash all around for Nintendo, but E3 2014 was legit awesome, definitely one of their better E3s), but in terms of presentation I'd rather have Robot Chicken back.
Wow Capcom's presentation may well have been the worst E3 conference of all time. I think it may have dethroned Nintendo's let's spend 6 hours on Breath of the Wild E3.
@Ulysses X but with dragons would be incredible honestly! I've been really excited ever since those job listings first went up, so I really hope we see it tomorrow. I'd be perfectly happy with some Xenoblade too, of course, I'm just looking forward to anything by Monolith at this point.
"Little by little. Each day as it comes. That's how we should live."
I'm honestly gonna bump my Xbox Showcase grade up to a B- or a B now in light of all the other conferences being so goddamn awful it just made them look way better and more competent.
They're the only conference so far that actually brought what people want to see at an E3
I'm actually gonna agree with this sentiment. While their conference wasn't as good as their last one (which itself was also not as good as the one before that), the only major issue beyond that is that their most standard Xbox brand TM style games were given the focus, and those are often uninteresting. But they still looked good or fun on a basic level where if I ever bothered with Xbox and gamepass, I'd have reason to give them a shot and believe they would be fun video games that are worth my time at least, boring aesthetics and ideas aside. I've enjoyed enough of those shooter series in the past, and car racing games. And the more interesting games were either just presented poorly or not given enough focus (Eiyuden Chronicle is easily one of the best things shown this E3 and there's two of them!)
Honestly it feels like they cut out 20 minutes of the conference they would normally have, for better or worse though. I think it was the longest conference but it still feel like it had very little.
I think one of the big issues I'm having is that the indies used to be shown between larger games at Sony and Microsoft and thus they had more chance to stand out. Whereas all the indies are in their little indie shows with tons of games, so outside of Devolver's, they're not as easy to immediately remember or care about. And its also harder to tell from most indie trailers which 2d retro platformer or artsy story game will be either the next masterpiece or just mediocre.
@kkslider5552000 Honestly I had tempered my expectations and fully expected those trademark Xbox games to be shown. The big problem for me was that there really wasn't enough for me to get excited about within 2021 specifically since I'm not a Forza guy and I thought the Halo single player portion of the show was extremely underwhelming
But that was like the thing that was holding it back from being truly great for me. The emphasis on Game Pass and stuff like Starfield, STALKER 2, A Plague Tale, Outer Worlds 2 and some of the indie stuff like Replaced and 12 Minutes was all really good. It's just that I felt it was largely lacking in terms of games pure Xbox first party efforts that weren't a ways away

@Slowdive
So far I saw the starter games on Amico was pretty decent for me, the U/I design of most those games was pretty basic not really awesome as Japanese developer did like SEGA / Capcom / Nintendo.
I heard there will be a physical media, that was a great news but I wonder what it looks like the physical media to play (probably will be cartridge instead of disc).
Also, I wonder if Intellvision have registered their games to Age Rating company such as ESRB / PEGI before the games released.
They also promised there is no lootboxes, dlc, any kind of bad practice of video gaming. That was nice to hear when there are some greedy company like EA is still ruining the gaming experiences with BS DLC, lootboxes, etc.
I wonder if Amico will be a favorite alternative video game device in the future.
I took a look at the Capcom stuff revealed… holy balls they have absolutely f#cking dropped it. So far this year’s been disappointing in terms of releases… and will Nintendo cap my misery off or will they turn it around?
