Nighttime hello! Got to finish a drawing today, and I’m so happy. I’ve been pretty slow lately with drawing, but I’m getting back into the swing of things. Going to change my profile picture again before I start to get sleepy.

@Sunsy Hey, no problem at all! I get being busy. In fact, I'm leaving on vacation in a couple days, so it'll probably be a bit before I can get back to you anyway. I'm glad you had fun on your city excursion!

Enjoy your vacation. I definitely did. Got to meet Poppy at a Trolls event and had pizza, all with my friend. I hope I get to go back to the city too, the bus ride was nice and I'd like to see what else there is to do.

Should have said good morning here as I was awake earlier! I actually woke up at 5 or 6 but fell back asleep since I was still tired. Let’s have ourselves a very good day today!

Time to get to those replies. Thanks for your patience. Preparing to go to a city, meeting Poppy and going to a Trolls event was not on my 2024 bingo card. It was something awesome my friend found, and I'm glad we went.

Also, Disney Speedstorm kept me busy going through the Inside Out Golden Pass (honestly, the best season of this game so far IMO).

@Sunsy I typically cut myself off of any caffeine - though I don't require a lot anyway - around noon. Once in awhile I'll have some later in the day in the form of green or matcha tea, but the caffeine content is low. I do hope that shrimp salad was good. I'll eat shrimp in any form except raw (unless it's in sushi, but usually then it is prepared in some way). I enjoy fried food, but it's something I rarely have due to the negative health effects. Plus, some deep fried stuff actually does irritate my stomach if I have too much since I'm not used to it.

I can only have caffeinated anything in the morning hours, after the afternoon, stuff keeps me up all night. Nice usually in the evening, I sometimes have caffeine free lemon tea, or hot cocoa or chocolate milk that's 99% caffeine free (think Swiss Miss or Nesquik). It was good, she always likes shrimp salad when I make it. Very easy to make too. That's fair to avoid it because of the negative health effects. Though I think karaage was the last time I fried anything. I usually use oil just to make sure food doesn't stick to the pan.

@Sunsy Oh I agree for sure, I do prefer being in a Disney store in real life over online. Loved how my Disney store looked. That's awesome, I do remember that Sofia the First is one of your favorites. She met Cinderella in that clip you've seen, huh? Shifting gears just a little bit, (gosh, I've said that twice in this post) Cinderella is a great movie! Mom and I have seen it on Valentine's Day last year. We have it on blu-ray, and we even still have our old VHS of it. I can show you, if you'd like. It's a cute movie as well... except for the stepmother, stepsisters, and their cat Lucifer, of course. "Poor Cinderelly... every time she finds a minute, that's the time when they begin it! 'Cinderelly, Cinderelly!'" "CINDERELLLLLLLLLLA!"

You and me both, lol! It's funny how you'd get those achievements even when you're just starting out. I should get back to Halo sometime... maybe after I beat Crash Bandicoot 4. Earlier I've been getting back to my Steam library with the latter. I don't think I ever got every achievement in any one game.

Yeah, playing with just the rental Pokemon wasn't great. At least for now, the NSO+EP versions of Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 don't have a way to connect to the Game Boy games, since those aren't on the Switch. The Stadium games look tedious to play through, too... I have zero interest in revisiting them as a result. The minigames were pretty all right though, but I'd rather stick with Mario Party for my minigame fix, lol. I'm way more into Mario than Pokemon. Ah, that sucks your copy of Pokemon Yellow got stolen! That level 100 Charizard could've definitely come in handy. That's cool, I'll probably play on beginner as well, since RPGs aren't really my forte.

It was a weird time for sure, lol... thank goodness Nintendo released those two systems the year I started being away from home. Good to hear that Pokemon Stadium 2 was better for you at least. Cool to see that the Dreamcast was your most played console that year. It's a console I wish I had during its heyday... considering it was Sega's last console before going third-party.

Mine too, I remember it had this sparkly path in the middle of the store too. Yup, Sofia wears a magic amulet that can summon a Disney Princess when she's in trouble. All of them made an appearance on the show. Here's the clip they showed at my Disney Store, Cinderella appears in it.

Cinderella is a good movie, I think I have it on DVD, it's been awhile since I've seen the movie. You could show it, I just showed you a clip from Cinderella's appearance in Sofia the First. I think the last Disney classic I watched was The Little Mermaid. Last Disney movie in general I watched was Inside Out, I'm hoping to see the new movie in early July.

Yeah, I'm not an achievement hunter, I just love when they pop up randomly on Steam and I'm like "huh, what did I do?" and then laugh about it, lol. I decided to reinstall Halo because I was in the mood for it. Also, my friend has an Xbox and I can play with him via cross-play.

Pokemon Stadium is way too hard when you just use the rental Pokemon. I'm surprised they didn't think about waiting until NSO got Pokemon Red, Blue, etc, and figure out a link feature of sorts. I think most have fond memories using their transfer paks to play the game. That's understandable. It was so frustrating, I did get the copy of Pokemon Yellow replaced a few months later, but I never completed the game again. I think I got all the badges and gave up at the Elite Four. I already beat Pokemon Blue and the old copy of Yellow, it just felt like I was playing it again just for the sake of it, and all the hard work was gone.

Dreamcast was a really good console. Especially since it was based off Sega's NAOMI arcade board, which in turn led to arcade accurate ports of games. Crazy Taxi played and looked just like the arcade.

@Sunsy
Oh, are there some Trolls 3 characters such as the Brozone members?

No good deed

AGAIN...!!!

Sunsy

@Anti-Matter It was called Trolls x CAMP, and at the event, only Poppy was meetable. It was actually the same meetable Poppy from Universal's park. It was something Universal and DreamWorks set up.

There was a room dedicated to Brozone, it looked like a recording studio, and had albums on the walls, made of felt-like material too (they really put so much detail into it, you could even feel it). The whole place was made to be like you stepped into the world of the Trolls movies.

There was even a concert of people performing songs, which included the Brozone's back medley.

Cool.
I think it will be better if the Brozone members appear as the mascot, just like Poppy and Branch.

Btw, who have ever played Oceanhorn 2 ?
Is that game easy enough for me?

@Anti-Matter Would be nice if they did other meetable characters in general. Universal parks have Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond. I'm glad the event still had Poppy. She greeted me with a hug, she really liked my shirt (I wore my favorite Trolls shirt), and we posed for a picture my friend took. What a memorable and special moment.

Currently having a splendid afternoon. Had lots of delicious meat and seafood but I felt very sick beforehand since I drank a loaded ice blend drink and it gave me a very unpleasant feeling before I ate. I have a bad tendency to eat too many desserts or anything sweet, and it makes my stomach hurt so badly afterward. Maybe that’s a sign I need to cut down on sugar. My stomach is at its worst when I eat a full cup of ice cream, especially one that is chocolate flavored. Probably gonna game later on my Xbox and see if I can finish Perfect Dark.

@Sunsy I'm really glad you and your friend had fun at the Trolls event and that you got some pizza too. Sounds like a pretty good time!

You sound a lot like me when it comes to caffeine. A lot of herbal teas typically have no caffeine; it's just coffee, black/green teas, and some other beverages I need to watch. I mostly just drink water anyway. That shrimp salad sounds pretty good actually. I've never had karaage, but it's something I would definitely try.

@Tyranexx It was, the whole place was incredible. You walk in, it's just an ordinary toy store, in fact if you're in New York, you could walk in and shop. However, there's a "magical door," if you have a ticket, you can enter the door. Walking into the door brought me and my friend into the Trolls world. Everything was made to recreate the world of the movies. It was like a playground with some slides (yes, I went down one of them too, they had a tube slide for little kids and a bigger one for anyone to use), different areas to explore, and even a scavenger hunt involving post cards. You can board Rhonda (an armadillo bus, Trolls use creatures like they're vehicles) to travel to Mount Rageous for a 3D concert with the songs from the movies. Plus, the "bus ride" was interactive, with a video game where you use a flashlight to help guide the way for Rhonda.

My favorite part was the meet and greet with Poppy. She greeted me with a hug, she really liked my shirt (I wore my one of my favorite Trolls shirts), and we posed for a picture my friend took. Poppy even threw a dance party for everyone there.

It really was an immersive experience, I'm glad my friend found it. Also, it was all official too. The Poppy I met was the same one as Universal's parks.

Yeah, I once was up all night as a kid because of it, so I try to be careful with it. It doesn't make me hyper, just keeps me up. Herbal teas ares something I'll drink too. Not bad, if anything, I need to learn to drink more water. I'll sometimes drink juice, or ginger ale. Usually it takes me days to get through a small 16 oz bottle of it, I don't drink a lot of it. You might like it, it's basically chicken that's marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, then coated with corn starch and fried. It's one of my favorite things to make from my Japanese cookbook.
