@Eel ThanosREXXX talking about siblings made me remember somthing, didn't you say a sibling of yours sat on your tablet? I can't really remember.

So I got to be honest When I was talking about hades getting dlc I have not played much of it I only played five hours and withen that time I made it to the forth area so I foolishly thought I seen all the game had to offer, like derr of corse not why would it be such a hit with people, so I dicided I will take more time playing it I have only played up to five hours But I was like might as well, I was playing other games and I never got to hades, And no I still haven't beaten FF7 nor okami I have been trying to 100% paper mario along with thinking of new levels for mario maker (Maybe some among us here and there) but now that i'm playing more There is soo much stuff going on in hades, More chracters just show up ota no where just when you think you seen theme all, I have only made it to the forth boss and Kinda got bodied. Ya so thats what I'm playing this week I'm loving the HELL out of this game and so for I don't think it needs dlc deff ten out of ten for me (I have only played five hours of this so it might change) sorry if this was to long of a read and thank you for reading.

@ThanosReXXX I appreciate the searching nonetheless! The mClassic is pretty much what I was thinking of. Have you personally used it and would you say it's a noticeable and worthwhile improvement?

Also the cat thing was "curiosity killed the cat". Dumb joke, sorry.

@Heavyarms55 Sounds like today in my case lol. I never understood the notion that becoming an "adult" meant that one has to give up everything they liked as a kid. To me, there's no harm in maintaining our hobbies as long as we balance it with other aspects in life and don't let them take over.

@ThanosReXXX Hah, it is a continuing saga, isn't it? Admittedly I haven't asked recently, but I suspect the answer will be no until my sister moves out lol. Likely at the beginning of next year if her engagement pans out.

Glad to read all is well on your home front. You immediately crossed my mind when I ran across said article.

Fully agreed on how Nintendo is out of touch on their retro offerings and backwards compatibility. I also wish they'd offer an alternative to NSO and actually allow individual purchases of their back catalogue as well. I would definitely line up for a GameCube Mini.

@Eel Oh man, I LOVED Cardcaptor Sakura (localized as Cardcaptors) as a kid. It was a Saturday morning staple (No cable, so I had to rely on local TV stations) along with Pokemon, Digimon, Mega Man NT Warrior, Jackie Chan Adventures, _Batman Beyond, and other animated (not all anime) staples of my childhood....And yeah, the dub I watched was definitely butchered, though I didn't realize it at the time. Some other things in shows I did notice though, like the very infamous Brock/jelly donut line. I knew what rice balls were, but I was also young enough to wonder if there were donuts out in the wild that ACTUALLY looked like that. I asked my mom where we could get donuts like that. XD

Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet - The Indigo Disk, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)

@Snatcher Yep, and that's the story of why I have an iPad Air 4 now.

@Tyranexx Haha our dub had the jelly-filled donuts too. Apparently there's people who try to come up with recipes to make donuts that look like that just for the sake of the meme.

I loved Jackie Chan's adventures too! I think I actually watched the entire series. Ah good times. It was always funny when the show ended and suddenly the real Jackie Chan appeared, in all his not-at-all-like-the-animated-counterpart glory.

Probably some peoples are just jealous to see other adult peoples still maintain their inner childhood.
It started from indifferent and insecure feeling to see something that they think not supposed to be done for adult peoples.
I don't even care what peoples think about me just because i still pursuing my hobby to play video games and toys.
They hate me for pursuing my gaming hobby, fine... Just stay away from me because i don't need jealous peoples ruin my life and my hobbies.

I have to admit, outside of the Adventures cartoon, and that movie about super-spy tuxedos, I don't really know a lot about his acting career.

I was never into the girly stuff when I was a kid.

@ThanosReXXX Dora the Explorer was my go-to childrens' television show between the ages of three and six. I even had a Dora-themed birthday cake when I was four! I even got some Dora-themed DS games, as well as some Diego ones too for the growing masculinity inside myself.

I am slightly embarrassed about that but anything after that is something I wouldn't be afraid to discuss, like the Disney films. I used to dislike The Little Mermaid because my family DID like it, but despite having last watched it about five years ago, I regard it as a great film. Even went by myself to watch other Renaissance films, like Beauty and the Beast, which is one of the greatest animated films I've ever seen.

Has anyone read the novel "Ready Player One"? It's a Literature RPG-type book written by Ernest Cline, published in 2011. It's essentially like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, with an elaborate video game quest, set in a semi-cyberpunk future where energy crisis and wars have lead to people staying inside all day and using an immersive VR headset, to access the OASIS (Ontologically Anthropocentric Sensory Immersive Simulation).

Asking because @ThanosReXXX grew up as an adolescent in the eighties and this book is absolutely overstuffed with eighties pop culture references, to the point that sometimes it takes over the story!

@theJGG
My childhood was shaped by girly and masculine stuffs at the same time.
Sailor Moon, Jem (80's cartoon), Wedding Peach are my girly stuffs while Biker Mice from Mars, Rocky III, Road Rovers are my masculine stuffs.
Yes, my Mom had Betahifi VHS with compilation of some cutscenes from various movie scenes such from Rocky III Opening scene on it when i was Kindergarten student. And from that my hype about Boxing and Six pack dudes was born.

@Snatcher I liked the idea of the movie so before it was released I read the whole book. The movie was really, really good as far as adaptations go, but some things could have been executed better. For instance, All five characters just happening to live in Colombus.. I recommend you give it a go, because not only does it (IMO) feel like a more hard-fought and well-earned quest, it has a lot more depth to it, and has a lot more creative liberties with pop culture references.

Did you know that Steven Spielberg didn't want to even reference his own movies out of vanity (Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jaws, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park) but had to be convinced that his movies were an integral part of 80s culture?

@theJGG No I didn't know that, it sounds like you really love the book so I might give it a wirl.

@Heavyarms55 Ah, okay. No worries, I won't hold that joke against you.

I don't have any personal experience with the mClassic, but I only hear and read good things about it. If you're able to view YouTube videos in higher than 1080p, I'd advice you to look up some reviews and/or comparison videos, because in higher definition, you can definitely see the difference. Even in compressed YouTube videos...

That's obviously because I'm the only more or less Dutch person that you know, right?

@theJGG Ah, Dora. Yeah, too kiddy for me, but obviously, I was already WAY too old when that surfaced. Then again: I've never been into those kinds of animated shows. When I was 9, I did watch stuff like the Care Bears, but that's about as far as it went. Other than that, I mostly watched the shows I mentioned earlier.

Haven't read Ready Player One. I have the movie lying around somewhere, but haven't seen it yet either.
