@Snatcher Confession, I've only played the Wii version of Unleashed. I loved it, even if it wasn't the "definitive" (for lack of a better phrase) version of the game. Knowing the bad reception Boom got, I just always have that opinion as I usually play games myself and decide from there.

@Tyranexx@Eel I am kinda salty right now. Back to back Trubbish from 12km eggs. It feels like whenever I get some extra incubators the game decides that means it's time for trash spam.

@ThanosReXXX I will test out the shop and order something soon. And thanks for the nice words about my sculptures. They are not with me anymore I gave them as gifts. Only Sandshrew is with me
Recently, i was thinking to Break Game Titles Limit for certain consoles as i have played some never before played games, so i dare myself to consider games that i have never even think about in the past but suddenly i want to give some attention. And of course those games should not breaking my gaming rules number 1 and number 2.
For Wii U, suddenly i was thinking about Sonic Boom, Sonic Lost World, Sonic Racing Transformed, Mario Party 10, Star Fox Zero + Guardians.
For PS3, i have broken the titles limit from Toy Story 3, Motionsports Adrenaline, SSX, Sly Cooper and probably i will consider Jak & Daxter Trilogy PS3, Bolt (Disney Pixar).
Also, i will dare myself to consider Cars 2 PS3 and Cars 3 PS4 as they looks similar with Mario Kart but with different twist. And they will be my next purchase.
Btw, is Star Fox Zero Wii U really fit with my gaming style ?
I'm not good aiming targets with space ship but i have experienced something like that from other games. For shooting the targets in person style, i have quite a lot experinces from Ratchet & Clank games.
@Anti-Matter Funny, I just wrote my thoughts on Sonic Boom in the This or That thread yesterday. But yeah...let's just say that I don't recommend it. It plays more like a bad cartoon licensed game from the PS2/GameCube era than a Sonic game, it's riddled with glitches, and the characters just won't keep their mouths shut while you're playing. I played the demo of it years ago, and I stopped playing after like 5 minutes, it was that bad.
Sonic Lost World is okay, but it plays more like a Mario game than a Sonic game to me. Played the demo of it and I wasn't too impressed, but it's still WAY better than Sonic Boom.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is really good! I have it on both Wii U and PC, but if you have a computer with the right specs (as well as a controller for it), I'd recommend the PC version since it's the best-running version. Alongside Crash Team Racing, it's my favorite kart racer that's not Mario Kart.
Mario Party 10 is all right, but it's not my favorite one. (That honor goes to Mario Party 6!) It's basically more of the same from what Mario Party 9 had, where everyone travels on a vehicle together, and if you didn't like that game, it's not for you. Also, like all other Mario Party games, it's best played with your friends or family. Generally, MP9 and 10 are considered the weaker entries of the Mario Party series.
I didn't play too much of Star Fox Zero, admittedly. But it does have a massive learning curve with the controls, so I'm not sure if you'll like it that much.
I've talked about Jak and Daxter with you before, so I'll keep it brief. I enjoyed all 3 games, though most of my memories with the Jak games were from the first one.
As for the other games you've mentioned, I never played them so I can't help you out with those. You've mentioned quite a few Sonic games - have you ever thought of giving Sonic Mania a shot? It's really, REALLY good. If you're only gonna play one Sonic platformer, Sonic Mania's a good choice.

AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@MarioLover92 jake 2 for me was the best bc how hard it was, I lean over to three a little bit bc it have waaaay more guns, but its much easy'er, the first was was also great But they made a change to it and I cant go back. Played sonic mania and I can say it is great just like the OG ones where, Its a must buy for any sonic fan and if your going to get one on the switch I would go sonic mania.
@Sunsy When it comes to unleash people say there were to many werehog levels but that was the main gemik of the game, and they might have pushed it a little to much but still, I had no problem and it still stands as one of my fav sonic games ever, I really want to try colors but sega wont port or put it on steam.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@Eel Kyogre hits like a truck. The only decent one I have is one of my strongest water types. I think I went through two full teams in that battle lol.
@PokemonGirl99 Congrats! It's always an accomplishment to reach the end credits! There's always post-game content to tackle too if that's your cup of tea.
@ThanosReXXX What, you mean a coffee machine with a personality of its own isn't normal? One of the two enjoys being scratched on its head, the other cries if its pod container gets too full.
And the only green liquid I willingly ingest is green tea.
While I like open world games, I hope they don't become TOO much of the norm lol. They're definitely major timesinks. There's a reason I dropped MMOs ages ago. Subscriptions compound the problem in my book.
Sales are so, SO hard to ignore sometimes. I've done surprisingly well with the Switch eshop sales. But I'm also trying to flesh out more of my DS and 3DS library. So far I've stayed on budget, but it's hard lol.
@Heavyarms55 Literal garbage 12km eggs, huh? I actually don't bother with the Rocket admins much, so I've never landed any.
Thanks for the raid invite earlier! Missed it though. I need to see if anyone in the local group is doing raid hour tonight, or if everyone burned out last night. I'll try to send out remote invites if that's the case.
Haven't played at all today. Crazy work day due in part to needing to be home for the last leg of today; my furnace has been acting up, so I called in the professionals. Hopefully it was just a dirty sensor; the technician didn't find anything else that might cause it to cycle incorrectly. Sometimes it would work fine, other times the flames would die too early and it would push out cold air.
@Mr-Fuggles777@Sunsy
Oh, my gaming rules number 1 and 2.
1 = NO rated 18+ games allowed whatsoever reasons.
2 = NO Blood allowed. Only Mild blood and Animated blood allowed.
I filtered every games i searched with very strict rules and only rated Everyone, Everyone 10+ and Teen / CERO A and B / PEGI 3, 7 and 12 games allowed. But even rated Teen games still have to pass rule number 2 as i found games like Tales of Xillia and beyond didn't pass my rules number 2 and the games are banned in my gaming room because of Blood content mentioned from ESRB rating. I'm very serious in filtering the games because i don't want to see something that made me really uncomfortable or even turn on my wrath. And thus the games should pass my important rules number 1 and 2 first to be considered.
There are some other rules like No Soccer games allowed except if the sport was included as optional choice from Sport party / Olympic games, No coarse language allowed, No hentai games allowed, No Western superheroes games allowed, No Star Wars games allowed, etc.
About Breaking Game Quantity Limit, it was my attempt to add even more games exceeding my quantity limitation due to some circumstances. The reason i break the quantity limit because i found some of other games have some potential as i tried to engage with some never before played games. My last attempts were Toy Story 3 PS3, SSX PS3, Motionsports Adrenaline PS3, Sly Cooper games on PS3. I have never played those games and used to be i ignored them as i haven't seen something interesting from them. But as i have experienced with some new games, i discovered those games were actually quite interesting somehow. And from that i tried to consider other games that i have never played before but still not breaking my gaming rules.
For my case, my PS3 games quantity limit was 20 games before that. As i discovered some new games like Sly Cooper, SSX, Jak and Daxter trilogy, i extended into 30 games. Now, i could break 30 quantity limit with another "random" PS3 games after i reconsidered some of those games.
Also, for my Wii U case, i only have 8 Wii U games currently and before that i still struggled to consider another Wii U games as i was very picky and my gaming taste was not developed into new genre. After 5 years i have Wii U (i bought on April 2016), i decided to add more Wii U titles from the games i have never played before and even with new genre i have never played before. It was like stepping up a little bit from my comfort zone but still not breaking my gaming rules. Recently, i have considered both Sonic Boom and Sonic Lost World Wii U with possibly Sonic Racing Transformed, Mario Party 10, Star Fox Zero + Guard as other Wii U games that could break my 10 quantity limit (Break 10 quantity limit).
Sorry for the long explanations about my gaming rules and "Break Games Quantity Limit". 😅
@MarioLover92
I reconsidered Sonic Boom Wii U again after i watched the 3D platformer section from that game. At least the Sonic gangs are not running on high speed all the time, there are some 3D platforming elements that i can play like 3D Mario games. I didn't really understand how bad was the game from other people's opinion as i am not really a huge fan of Sonic games, just got interested a little bit. I have Sonic Generations PS3 and.... i still neglected the game as 2D style Sonic games running in high speed and quick reaction was still not my ability. 😅
And for Sonic Lost World, i saw the game like fusion of 3D Sonic games with Mario Galaxy, there were some slowdown parts that i can play like Mario Galaxy (not running on high speed all the time).
For Star Fox Zero, it was like new genre for me but i have experienced with another shooting games section with 3rd person view from another games like Chicken Little, Ratchet & Clank PS3 games, so i think i can get engaged with Star Fox Zero.
Oh, btw. Is Sonic Racing Transformed running on 30 fps as i saw from Youtube ?
@Anti-Matter I've been a Sonic fan since I was 10 - that was when I played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle back in the early GameCube days. Loved Sonic 1 and 2 on the Sega Genesis as well - that was before SA2B was a thing. Had many other Sonic games, too. Admittedly, I'm not as big into Sonic as I was when I was a kid, but I still know quite a lot about the Sonic series. With all that said...I still think you're better off skipping Sonic Boom. I already said why I hated it, so I won't repeat myself in this post. Just trying to help you out - you can find much, much better 3D platformers than this.
And yeah, Sonic games aren't for everyone, and that's fine. The demo for Sonic Lost World should still be up on the Wii U eShop, so you can download it and see if it's your thing.
Yes, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed runs at 30 FPS on Wii U, as I've played it on that. Sometimes there are some frame drops, though. The PC version can go up to 60.

@Snatcher I never had any issues with the werehog sections either. Again, I played the Wii version of it, did have the novelty of literally attacking with the Wii remotes. That was kind of cool. Cool to see it's one of your favorites. Sonic Colors is a good game too, it would be nice if it did get a port.
I wish Unleashed would get a port, just so I can play the other one Xbox 360 and PS3 had. I'm mostly a Nintendo and PC gamer.
@Anti-Matter Gotcha then. The three Sonic games should be good to go under those content rules. I actually just checked the ESRB descriptors on back of them, and only Sonic Racing Transformed mentions animated blood (genuinely, don't remember what part has it, unless it's the Curien Mansion course). Keep in mind, I'm going by ESRB as I live in the US.
Ok, so it's more of a shelf space kind of thing from the sounds of it.

That's a pretty amusing and funny story. I ended up enjoying Skylanders: SuperChargers more than I thought I would, as it's technically a "kids" game, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot from it. I would also say that they're also more of an all-ages series as well.
Yeah, it definitely is weird that it's screwed up. I did notice that as well, when you click "Games" it takes you to the Imaginators home page.
At least the videos still work, though.
@Tyranexx
Isn't that a skill set that almost everyone who uses the internet has? That's what nice about having the internet as a resource, especially when all else fails, we can look something up ourselves. 🤔
@TheJGG
They might, who knows. Altus has been supporting the Switch more recently, so it might happen. 🤔 TBH though, I don't have much interest in the Persona series.
@Sunsy
Okay, thanks for letting me know. For some reason, the way you worded your previous post made it sound like you either misplaced it (or lost it) after you moved. That's cool that you even have the Crash Bandicoot. IIRC, I believe they work on all platforms. I was thinking of getting Imaginators, but it released near the end of the Wii U's life cycle, and the Switch doesn't have support for the vehicles (or the traps), so I wasn't sure (and I'm still not sure) of which version to get. 🤔
Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔
As @Sunsy said,
Ninjala Gang FOR LIFE!
Also, if I don't respond to your post within a day (or two), don't worry, I'm not ignoring you. I'm going to be busy, though I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.
@SM3DASislit You're welcome. Around the time I got a few games right before moving since my birthday happened at the time, and I played them for a bit, then had to pack them up. Star Fox Zero was similar, I ended up playing it months after I moved. When I moved I was playing other Wii U games, like Breath of the Wild and LEGO Dimensions.
IIRC, I remember reading somewhere Imaginators on Switch read figures similarly to amiibo, and didn't use a portal (I actually looked this up just to confirm it). From the sound of it, the Wii U version seems to be the only way to play it traditionally with a portal.

Speaking about Star Fox Zero Wii U, as i watched from Youtube it seems Star Fox Zero didn't have Fox McCloud in action as 3rd person shooter like Star Fox Adventures and Assault Gamecube. 🤔
@Anti-Matter You mean on foot. Zero was mostly behind the arwing with the Wii U gamepad being the cockpit. It's been awhile since I've played it, at least this is what I remember anyway.

I keep ads off on this site because I do want NintendoLife to get the money. But man is it super creepy when I see an ad from Amazon or Crunchyroll for something I was looking at earlier in the day... I just bought some merchandise from Crunchyroll today (using some Christmas/Birthday giftcards I got) and just now I had a big Crunchyroll ad for some of the items I looked at and passed on. I know how the tech works, and it's still creepy. We need to just assume everything we do online, every page we visit, every comment we make, every message we send is logged somewhere, and nothing is ever truly private.
@Eel No dude, thank you for joining and inviting! You were the one who invited me to the one with like 15 people right? That was fun. I used to do raids like that in Japan. In Kyoto during raid weekends we used to have so many people at raids that we'd end up with more than one full group. I used to just casually stalk established groups XD. Anyway it's really nice to have a couple people I can count on for raids with fair consistency. I just wish remote passes were cheaper or obtainable via quests. Those 3 free ones they just gave out were very very nice.
@Tyranexx Yup, literal garbage 12km eggs. I did a bunch of rocket fights recently trying to get the shadow Pokemon for the last collection mission. I feel like the admins and Giovanni aren't as bad as they used to be, or maybe I just have better answers now. I used to seethe in anger because of how stupid trainer battles are in Go. (the one aspect of the game I actively dislike) But I can at least stomach them when there are decent rewards. Still zero interest in PvP though.
I thought I saw you join in at least one of those raids I did today. I managed to get both Kyorgre and Groudon that I needed, no shiny luck though. I have a shiny Groudon from way back, so I probably wont do any more of those unless someone else invites me. But I would love a purple Kyorgre, so I will probably try him a few more times before the next rotation.
I'm guessing next will be Ho-oh and Lugia raids? I'd really like a shiny Ho-oh, so I plan to do a good few of those in hopes of landing one.
Again, feel free to invite me anytime. If I have a pass I'm pretty much always down!
